Beautiful location elevated in quiet countryside amongst vineyards and with wonderful views of the Egadi Islands. Very good place for a peaceful break and easy to get to Erice, Marsala, the Trapani windmills and Mozzia Island. It is remote and you will need a car. The staff are very friendly but do not speak much English as most visitors appear to be Italian or German. Nicely restored building with a nice Terrace with excellent 360 degree views all around. A visit to the Cantina (Cellars) is a must, book it when you get there to avoid confusion and disappointment. (Free). Guiseppe at reception was very helpful with good english as was Pasquale the taxi driver who brought us from Trapani (20 Euros) airport plus the lad from the restauarant who led us in his car to the Pharmacy. Finally please feed the little brown stray dog that lives in the vineyard. he seems very scared but is really very friendly when you talk to him. Breakfast was very repetative and one morning I asked if we could have boiled eggs but were told they didn't have any! Evening nmeals were OK but quite expensive but you will have to drive to go anywhere else and alternatives are not that obvious. We went in mid June 2009 and the swimming pool is just a muddy hole in the ground (noone was working on it), I asked for a transfer to the beach but was told that the Lidos were not yet open!! Would appear that Juneis off season, we were tghe only guests on night, |

An experience! Beautiful building. Good food...but expensive. If you want a snack/drink with the locals, try Il Preferito in the village, Massimo is the owner. If you want a meal with the locals try Il Cacciatore on the road to Marsala. We’ll definitely stay again, maybe after they put the pool in. 15 minutes from airport... Staff are very helpful, but there is a slight training need!... |

We had several problems with the hotel and made complaints. Booking.com were helpful in assisting to address problems. We will be giving you more details in due course.Design of the building was very attractive and it is handy for Trapani airport The hotel was locked when we arrived to book in - phoned booking.com about this. One night we were woken at 2.30 am by car horn and door knocking for 45 minutes as customer could not get in or wake staff (if any were there). Last night there was no waiter for dinner chef had to take orders. Service was very poor. There were about half a dozen other less serious problems and we only stayed 3... |

Beautiful facility Restaurant was closed except for breakfast. THe hotel is very far from Marsala, and I think that you should warn people the restaurant may not be open. The directions to the hotel were difficult to follow, mostly because there are few street (road) signs to use |

The room was well beyond expectations for the value. The variety and quality of the food offered at the restaurant was excellent, and was the breakfast. The location is a bit inconvenient, but it's in a beautiful setting. |

Lovely location and tasteful refurbishment of this former winery, very helpful and welcoming staff. Our all too brief stay included a tour of the cellars and winetasting, Excellent food and accommodation, plus a nice touch having bicycles for guest use around the local lanes. A stay at the Baglio will be greatly enhanced when the planned swimming pool is built, also if the 'childrens area' (as described in the list of facilities) had play equipment (swings/slide/enclosed trampoline etc.) rather than a single plastic rocker! |

The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good and we ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings and the food and wine from the Donna Franca winery were very good. Would recommend the hotel, but you do need a car to get about. Fantastic views of the islands |

Cleanliness, friendly staff, good sized bedroom. Lack of a library, few meat choices on dinner menu. Also we did not like the short notice telling us that the restaurant was closed for that evening and no suggestions for alternative eating places. No mosquito protection in room despite being told that it was available - result: many painful bites. |

Truly outstanding personnel; excellent food & wine (own vineyard!); free parking & internet; free bikes; pleasantly overwhelming silent location. Deficiencies in bathroom accomodation and service; only one chair in family room; insufficient light in room; occasional late-night music from third-party parties; TV not working; too limited variance and choice of food at breakfast buffet; no swimmig pool. |

Relaxing place to stay with great food and wine. Easy drive to Trapani airport along quiet roads in the morning. We arrived in the afternoon and the signs were easy to follow. However, I imagine trying to find the hotel at night in the midst of the vineyards could be difficult. |

Congratulations to all. Especially to the night shift of August 10th, 2008, that dispite our late arrival went out of their way to provide us with a light dinner and a surprise birthday party for one of our co-travellers. Mihai is a star!!! This hotel is an oasis in the Marsala area. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, and we'd love to go back there one day! |

very nice room, good breakfast, good food (a la carte/ dinner), nice and quite. Good contacts with a beachclub (a very good one actually: try the food upthere) The place is quite remote. This is not really a problem, it depends on your idea of a holiday. |

Our resort still retains the charm of the original feudal dwelling, set among the colours of Marsala vineyards offering a splendid view of the nearby sea. |
Hotel Villa Favorita is deeply connected to the history and culture of Marsala, and vice versa. Enjoy a pleasant stay in a truly historic establishment. |
Overlooking the beautiful church of Chiesa Madre in the heart of Marsala, Hotel Stella d'Italia guarantees comfortable accommodation and an excellent service from their dynamic team of staff. |
Built in the mid 1800’s, on demand of Carlo Gordon, this former farmhouse was transformed in 1998 to offer comfortable accommodation without changing its impressive original and historical look. |
