It is a lovely hotel and is in a lovely position on the canal We were told that if we ate in the restaurant we would have a 10% discount on the meal when we came to pay the bill they said that we couldnt have it which was a lot of money as the meal before drinks etcs was over £75 per person and it wasnt very good

Location When we arrived they had had a water leak and it affected the room availability. We did not have our 2 rooms so they wanted to put all three of us in the penthouse room. The woman that we were traveling with did not want to room with my wife and I so they offered her a room up the street that was not near the caliber of room that we reserved. This was only for one of the 2 nights we reserved. They moved us into the rooms that we reserved the next night. It made the experience uncomfortable. They were very nice about it and treated us to dinner with wine the first night. I know that accidents happen and I do understand their situation but it put us in a very stressfull situation and took most of our time on our first day in venice.

The food I booked and paid for a garden room and did not get one. When i spoke with the staff they said that this is not what i had paid for. On your site it was what i paid for therefore i would like an explanation.

Best hotel ever stayed in. The staff are the best I've ever come accross, it's impossible to say how good the staff were. You ask and you get - now!! Position is perfect for getting anywhere, It's right on St. Marks square which made it easy for getting off the water bus from the airport. It's worth walking just a bit out of the square for more relaxed restaurants away from the tourist ones. Finish off with a water taxi from the hotel landing direct to the airpot, 100euro but well worth the experince

They organiized water taxi charged 65euro it left us miles from car park. Don't take water taxi to parking it's a rip off.

A beautiful hotel , very luxurious and super service. We thought that the money was paid when we made the reservation where as it was not taken out from the card which was a problem for us if we had spent money on our card before the payment was due in the end .everywhere else the payment is taken on reservation of the room .

Excellent location (30 seconds walk from St Marks) and very helpful staff. As we were away for a special Birthday the hotel had provided us with a bottle of prosecco in our room on arrival which was a very nice touch. Room was clean and nicely decorated, excellent bathroom. Don't stay in room 310 - right next to chamber maids cupboard which meant constant banging of the door all day and night. Our room was also very warm - even in December and we were informed that the hotel air con is off for winter. We found the bar area poor with no real atmosphere. Some of the most expensive food and drink we came accross in Venice was in the hotel (and we ate in Florians, Harry's Bar and also the Danielli Hotel - so not inexpensive places!!) Expect to pay at least 13 euro for a glass of wine, 25 euro for a glass of champagne and 40 euro for continental breakfast at this hotel. We had a drink in the bar each night (4) and breakfast x 2 plus a few bottles of water which bumped our bill up by 470 euro upon checking out.

Downtown ! Everything in 5 minutes , even if the city of Venice is easy to explore. Suggested to everyone who wants something glamorous and easy to reach. Very clean , warm hotel. A bit expensive but it deserves it. A bit expensive.

Location only. All the rest is not of a five star Hotel. Small uncomfortable rooms, even suites. Mistakes at the check-out (wanted to charge 120 eur additional) Dirty walls (some liquid dirt spots in the rooms) Badly smelling Bathroom very! Poor breakfast that costs 40 eur! Per person etc. etc. etc. Certainly, not a 5-star hotel...

Luna Hotel Baglioni is in a fantastic hotel and was everything we wanted for our first trip to Venice. The staff were very helpful and polite at all times and our room was beautiful, and provided a very relaxing haven away from the crowds. We will be going back very soon..

This 5 star hotel lived up to and exceeded it's rating. It oozed class. It is not cheap but it is worth the cost. The staff were both friendly and super efficient. We ate in the hotel restaurant once during our two night stay and the food and service was excellent. I cannot imagine how it could be improved.
