location is perfect, staff were so nice and helpful. Room is big with a nice view.
breakfast is not included in the price
We booked a junior suite but got the room size even less than deluxe room, no any separated area, scenery is the wall of the opposite building. When we clarified our room type in front desk, but staff was not polite and unreasonable, finally he changed another room to us, but it’s extremely dilapidated decoration, damaged sofa fabric, scratched desk and dining table, dirty and horrible bathroom with old towel, no kettle. We were very very disappointed and can’t believe they are 5-star.
Full of history and beauty, this ambiance creates the essence of romance.......
Excellent staff and always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant manager was kind and hilarious (Giovanni)... We were always looking forward to breakfast every morning. When we arrive they upgraded the room which was much appreciated. The staff also make up the room twice per day.
The location. The room. The staff. The city. Everything amazing.
Everything was outstanding and above our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The location is worth mentioning as the hotel finds itself in the luxury part of Venice.
Location, close to San Marco, public transport and shops.
1. We arrived at 13.45 (check-in time is from 14.00) and the room was not yet ready. We have been told it will be ready in at least 40 minutes..and asked to come back later. 2. The room we had was very warm and the temperature control system is not functioning, meaning you cannot adjust temperature of the room. The staff is aware of this and asked us to open the window instead should it is too hot. A faux-pas for 5 stars hotel in our view.
Perfect location. Private water taxi dock a bonus. Dinner at Canova was excellent. Hotel kindly upgraded our 2nd room. Historic and grand interiors. Clean rooms.
Breakfast, though located in a beautiful room, was just fair. Even though the rooms are maintained very well and are very clean, they are old.
Location location location! Footsteps away from San Marco and all the luxury boutiques.. Nice little boutique hotel with all typical Venetian charm! Great service from the staff .. Food is good, nothing great to write about. Breakfast was ok.
Room sizes are too small.. Fitting just a queen bed and no space to turn around! Breakfast varieties were just ok, not as anticipated from a LHW hotel..
No ironing machine, no coffee machine or hot water pot, first day there was no drinking water.
The position was fantastic and it was amazing to arrive right to the front door of this wonderful hotel via water taxi. It has a subtle superiority to other hotels. We were also upgraded by Marco to a junior suite which was amazing and beautifully designed in a Venetian style.
Not much to not like...probably a fully equipped gym would have been nice, but otherwise it was a beautiful stay and I would come back here again.
Great location very close by to Piazza San Marco. Excellent service combined with very charming interior. Very quite location, too.
We have decided for a Junior Suite which was looking great on the picture. The JSuite we've got was only like a normal squared room of about 25 sq meter.
Location, design, close to town center, shopping, cleanness, quite and staff hospitality
Location near San Marco Plazza. The breakfast room and hotel common areas were old-world stunning. Our sleeping room was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. All staff very pleasant and accommodating. Absolutely loved it.
perfect location, amazing room style with views on the canal, very helpful staff
location dinner quite clean complimentary water
Hotel's location - so close to Piazza San Marco! The private water taxi dock. Overall, hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were extremely well kept and very clean (and these are not in any way new rooms). The hotel itself is very well maintained. Dinner at their Canova Restaurant was delightful - even with my 3 year old son!
Breakfast was unfortunately, average. Although, the room where it was held is spectacular.
1- Location 2- Staff Everything....
Nothing well if someone care about view.. my room was a canal view but the hotel was in corner so small canal can be seen from the window.
Location, room size and breakfast
Some of the staff and facilities
Our stay was during end of Sep. 2014. I would say, Luna Hotel was the best in town specially In terms of Location as San Marco's Piazza (the main piazza in Venice) is just one minute walking from the hotel.
The furniture of the room was extremely old and smells. Rooms and bathrooms should be renovated as its current situation has nothing to do with the classic nature of the hotel.
very old hotel and not upgraded and late check in even thought the recieption guy told me it is ok to come early but then we waiting for 5 hours.
Very good location. Staff nice
Air condition bad
