very old hotel and not upgraded and late check in even thought the recieption guy told me it is ok to come early but then we waiting for 5 hours.
Very good location. Staff nice
Air condition bad
Has it's own dock for water taxis. Well situated just near Saint Marks Basillica. Staff friendly and helpful.
I would like to thank the lady in the reception who helped me in more then one thing.
Everything was good
Price was little high
The web site gives the impression that there are view terraces, however only two or three rooms have them. They do have side canal rooms that we were given after commenting on the inner wall view. Staff is fabulous and very helpful. Hotel is close to St Marks but we would stay on the inner Grand Canal next trip.
We had a lovely time here, we took the hotel transport from the Treviso airport, nicely arranged and wonderful water taxi ride after pickup. A definite to-do if in your budget! The concierge service was the best we've had, and we have traveled a lot! Excellent location, even when we were lost, we could always find our way back
Wi-if was spotty and a tad confusing to log in. We requested a room on a higher level but did not get it, however we were comfortable with what we ended up with.
It would have been nice to have been able to sit outside on a balcony or terrace at the hotel to have a drink and eat.
Staff were very friendly and helpful as you would expect with this category of hotel. Very well situated.
The wi-fi was not working for much of the time. However helpful staff allowed me to file urgent flight plans from their main office terminal.
Hospitable staff, warm welcome, clean, comfortable, great location, private dock. Excellent breakfast brunch each morning.
Location v good
No gym or spa
Small TV did not work.
Beautiful hotel. Ideal location. Quiet and restful. There is nothing the staff will not do for you. They are warm, gracious, and know everything about Venice.
There is not one thing negative I could say about our stay here.
The staff were fantastic the hotel is amazing and they were so friendly and nice and made me very happy. The only thing I would of changed is - to have a tea and coffee making facilities in the room, free wifi would of been nice to he included in the price of the room - and softer bed sheets. Other than that - it was amazing.
The bed sheets were a bit rough I would of preferred softer sheets. A coffee and tea making facilities in the room. And for wifi to be included in the price since the price of the room is very expensive and wifi is not that expensive to have.
Staff was very accomodating with our large family group of 12 including two small children ( 2 and 5) and a wheelchair. They assisted us with transporation to the hotel and then on to the port making this no small feat easy. Breakfast was amazing.
Everything especially the location
Try to avoid superior rooms as they are too small!
Perfect location. Elegant room. Welcoming staff. Beautiful breakfast.
We liked everything!
Great place to stay, my friend and I received a complimentary upgrade to a suite upon arrival to the hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful, our rooms were cleaned twice day, so impeccably clean.
The only minus point to note is that breakfast at this hotel is €40!
they gave an upgrade to the best room on the top floor
We took the ferry to the wrong dock and I phoned to hotel and asked the right dock and told them we have several large luggages and hope they could send somebody to help us, but they said it's too late(11:45pm),they don't have port man. I hurt myself while getting out of the ferry with two large luggages. We have to carry the heavy luggages over the bridge by ourself. Also I asked for two bath towels and did not come even after one hour later.
Great location.....right near Harry's Bar and St. Marks square. We got an upgrade so the size of the room was good. I hate to think what the size of the room we booked was. Staff was friendly.
Beds were not comfortable at all, and room decor needs a major update. It looks as though the last update was in the 80's or 90's. I understand that they are trying to keep the traditional style alive, but it can be re-done to look a bit more clean and alive. Overall it was a good hotel, although there was nothing to 'write home about' as they say.
Excellent location. nice friendly hotel and good rooms. Loved the breakfast hall.
lower level rooms on the alley side were very noisy late thru the night and early morning.
