Young Lady at front desk was very pleasant as well as dining-room staff and cleaning staff! When first inquiring about leaving early 4 nights instead of 5, the response was not very accommodating. When it was later suggested to get in touch with Booking.com, it was solved immediately! Wi-fi free, but not available in rooms!

Right on the beach I chose the hotel because it was advertised as having free wifi but when I arrived I had to pay 3.50 euros per hour.

Great location with mountain and sea views from room balcony. Could walk everywhere or take train that was two min away to other cinque terre towns. House keeping was very loud in the morning while cleaning other rooms nearby. They kept slamming doors very frequently which was not conducive to a relaxing morning.

When we got there we only had a double room and we had requested a twin room so they gave us a bigger room no problem at all.It gave us much more space and our own balcony which was lovely to sit out on and get a view of the ocean.

location on the sea shore The hotel is way overpriced for what you get. A double bed is two beds put together and then in the middle of the night you are trying to sleep in the crack between the two beds. The rooms are small and poorly appointed. We were extremely hot. I tried to work the air conditioner but it would not work. When I asked the next evening about it they said well you have to have a remote and gave me a remote then. Why didn't they tell me when I checked in. I would never stay there again!!!!!

it was 100 feet from the train it was on the water with a nice window view. The Staff. They were exceptionally rude and negative. They set the tone for the hotel that clearly effected other travelers. I would never go again. I wrote a bad review for them on Trip Advisor.

The location is fabulous. The book in clerk was really helpful & friendly The end What a crying shame, a nice enough building in a great location, but how anyone who obviosly doesn't like people can choose to run a hotel is beyond me, rude and unhelpful. They argued with other guests at the front desk, and were anything but friendly. We certainly never felt welcome, and didn't meet any other guests who were. You pay $180 a night for a room and then have to pay $2.50 for internet access, and that is for one machine. If you want to have access via a second machine, it's another $2.50. I like to think i can see the best in most situations, but my abiding feeling about Hotel Baia is it is an unfriendly version of Fawlty Towers

we had an early departure (6.30am) on the morning we left. There was no-one at reception and the area was closed off completely meaning I had to carry two suitcases down 3 flights of stairs. I hope I woke the whole hotel up in doing so. This is appalling service

It had an amazing view of the ocean. Just steps away from everything! It was by far our favorite town in cinque terre and we hiked them all! The only negative I could say is you have to climb up and down a lot of stairs every day. They only use the elevator for luggage. Also you have to pay per hour for wifi. But at least you can get online.

I liked the location. The room I stayed at was right in front of that beautiful tranparent sea I did not like the stairs. There was only a tiny elevator for the luggage

I liked everything about Hotel Baia. I was looking forward to staying there after visiting Monterosso a few years ago and was not disappointed. In fact, the room was everything I wanted. It had a balcony, I was directly across from the beautiful beach and it is an amazing view. The room was quiet, enough room on the balcony for two chairs and to dry clothes. The staff was very nice. Location very close to the train station. In a word, heaven. I'm looking forward to staying there again. God willing! The room even had a refrigerator. Not a mini bar, an empty refrigerator. Also close to a couple of little grocery stores. Thank you.
