Sea view Location of hotel in comparison to the train station
No elevator (only for luggage) No free WIFI in the rooms
Location was great, right near beach.
The bed was rock hard and too expensive.
-proximity to the train station and the beach -breakfast was good -awesome views from the room
-not much room to put toiletries around the sink
Close to all facilities
Use of lifts only allowed for luggage
View of medeterranean
Staff very unfriendly.. First stop on our trip so were very surprised at the unfriendliness with all we've read of the friendly people.. Room walls so thin that during a normal conversation in our room at night were alarmed by a banging on r door and obscenities of being too loud.. Mind you we are a couple in our sixties celebrating our 40anniv. A very unpleasant experience.. We would not recommend ur hotel
Location was right on the sea front.
Hotel owner who was both very unfriendly and very unhelpful. The room was expensive and very, very dark. The hotel did not provide a remote control for the air conditioning and the room was very stuffy.
Elevator poor and wifi should be available at the room.
We paid Euro 320 for 2 nights whereas our friends next door paid only 240. If you refund us the 80 Euros we paid extra we will change our opinion. Our friends were Robyn & Tony Gawne!
Location, sea view.
Staff who went out of their way to assist with a few needs that arose
Nice young man who checked us in. He had his hair in dreadlocks.
Climbing three floors of stairs. Only wifi in lobby which was 10x10 sq. ft. Tiny elevator for luggage only. One star at best.
Position of Hotel
Lacks adequate Wifi facilities Access to lift unavailable in morning for early departure Lacks flexability
We liked everything about the hotel. The staff was very nice - especially Alice and Simon. Both were very helpful. You can't bet breakfast overlooking the Mediterranian.
There was nothing not to like. Having WiFi access in the rooms would have been nice.
Excellent location opposite beach.
Reception area very basic. Staff not very professional. Breakfast very poor.
Baia was located on an excellent promenade, terrific hop skip and jump away from the train station and opposite the beach. It was clean comfortable and room a decent size. No one which we came across was grumpy ( as suggested by others)but in fact quite helpfu and pleasantl. Breakfast was quite basic, cheese, one choice of cold meat few cereals, bread, condiments and tea and coffee. Would I stay here again, yes I would. Did not have sea view but to be expected when not booking well in advance during tourist season.
Location couldn't be better - Perfect! Private beach available. Close to grey restaurants, train station. Shower is great. Elevator for luggage. Rooms are large.
Beds are incredibly uncomfortable. Bathroom is tiny. Some staff can be quite abrupt - others are fantastic.
This hotel is PERFECTLY located right on the beach! Opt for a room with a beach view and it will bkow your mind. The property itself is 'basic' but comfortable and clean. The location is the most important part-- it is perfect!
Very central location
Room on the third floor with no lift. Very reluctant to go back to the room during the day.
Location, breakfast and terrace dining
Nothing to say
Loved the view!
The fumes coming from the traffic in the road wafting into our bedroom.
We loved the location. The bed was comfortable. The room was done up nicely each day. The shampoo was great. Restaurants within easy walking distance. The bathroom was small but had everything we needed. For the price you couldn't find better.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. We were satisfied.
Balcony on which to relax after a day of sightseeing with a view of beach and town was a treat! Proximity to the station was also a bonus especially if arriving at night as it is easy to find the hotel. Staff kindly provided a cold breakfast in our room as we had to leave early on our last day.
Hotel overlooked a new gravel carpark right on the beach which was unsightly and which I don't remember from a previous visit to Cinque Terre. I am hoping they will at least try to beautify it with trees or paving. Fridge was not cold and reception staff were not interested in fixing it - said temperature was preset -a shame.
Location and accessible to every thing we wanted. The rail was 70 metres away, bar downstairs, breakfast was ok to start the day, close to the restaurants in old and new towns, beach across the road. Very comfortable and inexpensive. What more do you want?
Poor hair dryer...it was dangerous Maybe change towels everyday
The location was great...able to park nearby. Train station close by and easy walk into the city.
Breakfast left a little to be desired. Older woman at the desk not very friendly. Had a disagreement at checkout on no. of days of our stay....then she realized she had the wrong room number!!
