Perfect location. Pets allowed.
Not insulated from noise, you could hear what is going on in the room next to yours.
Very comfortable room, compact but sufficient. Pay the extra for a balcony. Breakfast good. After a big day visiting other towns in this area and continually climbing up or down stairs it was great to get to Monterosso and walk the 100m to the hotel on flat land
Perhaps for those on higher floors the life was only for luggage or disabled
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Elevator virtually non functional
A loved the location of the hotel and the proximity to the train station. The room had an amazing view of the ocean.
location and staff
3rd floor walk up stairs- elevator for only luggage and disabled
Mattress was like a board. Lift only for luggage. Self service breakfast unappetising, meagre, very basic and didn't serve until 8a.m. Wi fi only in reception area
The location of this hotel is great. It is very near the train station and directly in front of the sea. Full sea view rooms with balconies and chairs. Hotel has a restaurant with bar. There are also several cafés right across the street.
Thin walls in rooms so you can hear loud neighbors. Very small bathroom!
Nice comfortable hotel, close to station. While it has lots of stairs it has a lift for baggage. Good breakfast was included and surrounded by places to eat. Really enjoyed our stay.
Wifi only in lobby
It's was great for what you pay! Happy I didn't listen to some other reviews, as it's seriously fine. Yes the wifi is only in the reception.. While at the Cinque Terre why would you be spending your time online in your room!? The staff were lovely, gave us some breakfast to take on the train for our 4:30am departure! They did not have to do that. It was clean, and in a great location
Sea view Location of hotel in comparison to the train station
No elevator (only for luggage) No free WIFI in the rooms
Location was great, right near beach.
The bed was rock hard and too expensive.
No elevator unless you are handicapped. It was 46 steps to the second floor.
-proximity to the train station and the beach -breakfast was good -awesome views from the room
-not much room to put toiletries around the sink
Close to all facilities
Use of lifts only allowed for luggage
View of medeterranean
Staff very unfriendly.. First stop on our trip so were very surprised at the unfriendliness with all we've read of the friendly people.. Room walls so thin that during a normal conversation in our room at night were alarmed by a banging on r door and obscenities of being too loud.. Mind you we are a couple in our sixties celebrating our 40anniv. A very unpleasant experience.. We would not recommend ur hotel
Location was right on the sea front.
Hotel owner who was both very unfriendly and very unhelpful. The room was expensive and very, very dark. The hotel did not provide a remote control for the air conditioning and the room was very stuffy.
Elevator poor and wifi should be available at the room.
We paid Euro 320 for 2 nights whereas our friends next door paid only 240. If you refund us the 80 Euros we paid extra we will change our opinion. Our friends were Robyn & Tony Gawne!
Location, sea view.
Staff who went out of their way to assist with a few needs that arose
Nice young man who checked us in. He had his hair in dreadlocks.
Climbing three floors of stairs. Only wifi in lobby which was 10x10 sq. ft. Tiny elevator for luggage only. One star at best.
Position of Hotel
Lacks adequate Wifi facilities Access to lift unavailable in morning for early departure Lacks flexability
We liked everything about the hotel. The staff was very nice - especially Alice and Simon. Both were very helpful. You can't bet breakfast overlooking the Mediterranian.
There was nothing not to like. Having WiFi access in the rooms would have been nice.
Excellent location opposite beach.
Reception area very basic. Staff not very professional. Breakfast very poor.
Baia was located on an excellent promenade, terrific hop skip and jump away from the train station and opposite the beach. It was clean comfortable and room a decent size. No one which we came across was grumpy ( as suggested by others)but in fact quite helpfu and pleasantl. Breakfast was quite basic, cheese, one choice of cold meat few cereals, bread, condiments and tea and coffee. Would I stay here again, yes I would. Did not have sea view but to be expected when not booking well in advance during tourist season.
