Very little to mention here, if I was to really over analyse then I'd say the addition of hot food (which i mentioned above) and the Wifi, which does need a little bit of work. A little tiny chink in an otherwise unscathed armor!
First time bookers. We stayed from 29th August til 1st September. The very first thing that arose was that we had to change our check in date due to a confusion with our own personal commitments, and we received a reply to our enquiry promptly, being told that our request had been granted and the change was made, free of charge.
Upon our arrival, from the porters to the management, we were immensely impressed, particularly by Mirko and Gerald. Information was given to us immediately, our luggage was stowed away when we needed to wait for flights after check out, the breakfast was satisfactory (although I suppose could do with a little hot food, which isn't much of a complaint) and staff even went as far as allowing us to use their personal reception computer to book our Vatican tour.
I had read reviews claiming that the rooms were too small and/or noisy. We booked the superior double room (201 I believe) and it was perfect for the price we paid, a beautiful, cosy decor and a spectacularly kept marble bathroom. As for noise, if you're not staying in inner city Rome, I fail to see how complete silence can be expected, neither my partner nor I had a complaint about noise and slept In complete peace and comfort in our well air conditioned room.
Overall, I was at first sceptical about booking online for the first time, but I'm glad I did my homework and discovered this absolute gem of a hotel, within reach of all major attractions and who, most of all, put their guests interests first. The cherry on top of a great adventure to a beautiful city. (a very satisfied young irish couple)
