The hotel provided easy access to the Duomo and the train station. My room was on the balcony side and it was very quiet. |

Great location smack in the center, right between the train station and the duomo. Friendly staff. The balcony is great. They gave me a double room even though I was alone, right next to the balcony. It's a 2-star, but I have stayed in 3-stars with lower quality than this. The breakfast is a sad story, but then again breakfast is not a big thing in Italy - they don't really grasp the concept of breakfast. That's ok - they have the upper hand when it comes to the other meals. What is a big thing in Italy is coffee, and they have a coffee dispensing machine that you really shouldn't be wasting your time on. Enjoy the room and the location but for breakfast do what italians do - stop at a bar and grab a coffee of your choice and a brioche. The room itself was clean but the bathroom had a very dirty fan and the tiles the common grout growth that I guess accounts for the 2 stars, but hey, who needs to look at the shower walls when you can look at the doumo from the balcony... |

The hotel was less than a 10 minute stroll from the train station (with heavy suitcases and not knowing exactly where to go). The location was excellent and close to everything in Florence - less than 5 minutes from the duomo & river Arno. For a 2 star hotel, it really was good value. The breakfast was ok. The juices were just cordial and not much in the way of cereals but very reasonable for a 2 star hotel in Italy. The hotel staff admitted some rooms can be noisy due to the traffic below (which you would no doubt get in many hotels) but I had a very quiet room. |

Very friendly and helpful owner. Excellent location for sites, shopping, railway station. We were given a room at the back which was very quiet for a city centre location. Perfect for a budget hotel in a busy tourist destination. We will stay here again. We had a problem with mosquitos, which was our own fault - it was so quiet we left our window open all night and invited them all in! |

Staff greeted us like old friends on our return from a few days away. Rooms are standard European size (on the small side) but adequate for a few days. Clean and have all necessities. Do not let the construction scaffolding next door put you off. Very convenient to train station. |

Lovely, helpful staff and working A/C! Plus, love the communal terrace, which we had to ourselves while having morning coffee. The bathrooms are newly renovated and squeaky clean. Nothing negative, but if you have heavy bags ask for a room on the first level up, since there is no elevator. We had no large bags so it wasn't an issue. |

The locations is not bad, walking distance from St Maria Novella Station but you can find others closer. it was not clear from the initial address how far you had to walk. I mean for the 2 nights we stay it was not bad for the price. The rooms were very simple, the shower a bit uncomfortable and breakfast could be better. |

The hotel was really well located, the breakfast was very good, and the rooms were clean. They supposedly had internet free, but when I arrived the WiFi service had a cost of 5 euros per hour, which is ridiculously high, specially for a hotel of this type. |
