Great location, walking distance from Colosseum, Roman Forum, Metro stations etc. Good restaurants nearby.

Room was a bit small. It would have been difficult to climb to the 4th floor room if we had large bags as there is no lift in the building. Luckily for us we had only smaller bags.

The staff was amazing, nice location, nice breakfast, the room and the bathroom are very modern, wi-fi worked.

There was no elevator, but it wasn't a bog deal for us.

Fantastic location with restaurants and bars close but has the feel of a real community all around.

Third floor walk up - but worth it.

Clean and comfortable. Good price for the location. Shower was a reasonable size. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Only minor issues: Staff was small and available only during normal business hours; and, walls were thin on the inside so sounds could travel from room to room (could be a distractor if neighbors were loud, but we didn't have issues).

Staff were extremely polite and very helpful and obliging at all times, with excellent English. I even had the opportunity to email and ask questions beforehand. Roberta and Sabrina provided excellent information re.local eateries, authentic Roman cuisine etc. They made a real effort to coordinate arrangements so we could leave our bags on the last day and they could have organised transfers to and from the airport, if we had need them. Roberta arranged to have the safe in our room fixed by the next morning after our Sunday arrival. Others may wish to note that, once we were installed in the hotel, we were left to our own devices- which we quite liked. I.e Mobile phone numbers given by the staff, for emergencies etc. But no 24 hour desk etc. Plenty of towels provided but towels not changed and beds not made, which did not bother us for a 3 night stay. Hotel b&b Al Colosseo is in the heart of the Monti district. Monti is a relatively quiet (for Rome) family type, safe neighbourhood with good range of eateries budget to higher class nearby, together with some lovely and some funky shops. Fabulous ( best pizza ever in our opinion) pizza/pasta cafe/take away ("Milvio") right next door. Great little gelati shop across the little piazza in the next street. Easy walking distance from Cavour Metro subway on line B. One stop from Termini. Colosseum one block away. Could see it from hotel front door. Many major attractions within 1-1.5km radius on foot, or easily accessible by taxi, metro or buses from Via Nazionale or Termini station. Very convenient for us. Have stayed in Termini neighbourhood before, but frankly, if a bit of walking doesn't hurt, I felt this neighbourhood generally nicer and closer to many attractions on foot, with train and bus still accessible.Room and bathroom fresh and spotlessly clean, lovely modern decor, recently done.

My son, aged 15, found the size of the breakfast inadequate. (A coffee or a juice, plus croissant or sandwich.)Therefore, the voucher system for a local cafe down the road, was, to us, not ideal. Had we been more organised, I would have bought juice and some extra things as I am sure I would have been allowed to store them in the kitchenette fridge etc. Perhaps a time allowed for each room to use the kitchenette in the mornings? Also, maybe the hotel staff should outline to patrons, their policy re. Towel changing and room servicing. As I said, it did not bother us, but it may bother some. I would not let this preclude you from choosing this hotel, as they were so obliging- so ask if you want your room serviced! Hotel is on 3rd floor of building, as is the case with many many hotels in Europe, but no lift, which did not bother us at all, however, again, it may bother some. Despite these very few, minor aspects, which are far overshadowed by all the benefits listed above, (benefits which other European hotels do not provide for this price in this locality!) I would still highly recommend.

Everything was very nice, location was great, Colosseum is visible as soon as you step out onto the street, some good restaurants around and boutique shopping one street away. Lots of bars on the weekend with a young crowd.

We were made to change rooms 2nd day of our stay. Which was a bit of a hassle organising when to do it etc.. We were moved to a smaller room for the sake of some new customers, this kind of thing should be avoided by the hotel as much as possible.

Very good location, near to Rome Forum

They do not accept Credit Cards, and there is no elevator (I have the apartment on the 3rd floor, and I have to take 4 big baggages by the stairs)

The room was the perfect size for our family of three. The decor was awesome. The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom were very clean. The beds were very comfortable as well. The location of the b&b Colosseo was also perfect. Its location made visiting certain sites that much easier for us.I Would recommend the b&b Al Colosseo, to my friends and family, if they ever have the opportunity to see Rome, Italy.

The only thing we need not like about the b&b Al Colosseo, were the stairs we had to climb. It made carrying our luggage a little difficult.

La taxe de retard (à cause des bagages donc imprévisible) à l'arrivée sans prévenir ! la taille de la chambre, pour 100 euros la nuit quand même...

Ascensore non funzionante e disagio per salire al 3° piano e trasportare bagagli

La situation idéale pour visiter Rome, le calme, la chambre spacieuse, la bouilloire dans la chambre.

Toffe, authentieke wijk. Vriendelijk en attent personeel.

Super localisation a cote du colisee et pouvant tout faire a pieds. Petit dejeuner a prendre ds un cafe a cote de l immeuble, le personnel du cafe est simpathique et patient avec les touristes qui ne parlent pas forcement l italien.

Dur a trouver, aucune enseigne simplement une inscription en papier sur interphone a peine visible. De plus il ne sagit pas d un hotel mais 7 chambres au 3 etage d un immeuble avec un ascenseur qui n est pas disponible pour les touristes. Tv hs dans une des chambre, forte odeur degout. Tres mal insonorisee.

·La amabilidad del personal. ·La ubicación: al lado del Coliseo y de Piazza Venezia, y lo que va bien a la llegada, cerca de Termini. ·La relación calidad-precio. ·El desayuno: te dan unos vales para desayunar en un bar que está a pocos metros del hotel. ¡Todo está muy bueno! ·Lo que ves en las fotos, es lo que te encuentras luego.

·Ascensor: hemos estado 4 días y no hemos conseguido hacerlo funcionar ni una sola vez. De todos modos, son solo 2 pisos y no cuesta subirlos.

Non soggiornerò mai più al B&B al Colosseo per questo. - reception un pò squallida e solamente presente una persona all'arrivo e mai durante la giornata; - pagamento in anticipo con la carta di credito ( in tutti gli alberghi prenotati con booking.com sempre dopo); - sei rampe di scale da fare a piedi; - rifacimento del letto e pulizia della camera ogni tre giorni ( al mio sms inviato dopo il primo giorno per lo stupore al secondo giorno rifatto il letto e pulizia camera; - colazione scarna con croissant e cappuccino in un bar a fianco: se si prendeva qualcosa d'altro bisognava pagare la differenza!!; - l'acqua della doccia a tratti serviva a pelare i m...... ( bollente) in altri a congelarsi (freddissima); - il parquet era finto (in doghe di plastica) non come citato nella presentazione del B&B; - il letto (IKEA) con il materasso (IKEA) troppo basso:sembrava di stare sul pavimento.

La matrimoniale piccola,bisogna passare sul letto,colazione ridicola,pos per pagamenti non funzionante,non prevista autorizzazione per accesso agli ospiti alla ztl,bagno di tipo aeronautico,piccolissimo,ascensore non funzionante,assistenza inesistente.tutto negativo da cancellare.

le concierge n est pas toujours present il n y a pas de bagagerie a proprement dit douche pas toujours chaude
