Barion Hotel & Congressi  

We liked everything in Barion hotel, since we arrived we felt like a queens and got a room with sea view. Their polite, very helpfull and proffesional recepcionist Carola help us to make our short stay so fullfiled and organized. Best regards for Gaettano and Nicola too and for simpatic man in restoran who prepared for us the most beautiful and tasty cappucino that we ever try in whole Italy. Shopping centers Bari Blue and Ipercoop you can visit with hotel taxi by very good prices. Anyway we will be glad to come again there and we reccomend this place to any one! The hotel was very clean and pleasant. Staff very helpful. We had the best breakfast here (not only sweet, like normally in italy but also a good choice of savory food and nice juices and fruits). The room didn't have a very good view but was very clean and the bed comfortable! The surrounding towns are pleasent.

The hotel is located right next to a motorway... So if you open the window, it can get a bit loud. It didn't bother us, but might some people. Anywhere you want to go, you will need the car since eventhough you can see the see from the hotel, the motorway is inbetween and not crossable by foot.

All staff was excellent. Breakfast was great, but the coffee was super. The best coffee I ever had in a hotel in Italy. Simply the best

For Italy ,the breakfast was very good indeed with friendly waiters. A gym is available for free.

It's position can make it difficult to find when driving at night.

Breakfast the first morning was good. The place was clean.

The air conditioning was terrible and the room was very hot. The location of the hotel was not good, far away from everything, not even a supermarket near. The staff lied to us on more than one occasion, first about the ac, telling us that they would make it cooler, when it was already at its coldest. After we checked out, we realized they had made a mistake on our bill. We had to mail them four times and call them two in order to get an answer. The receptionist told us that they had not received any of the mails, and after the secon phone calls the mails magically appeared. Still, they did not fix the error on our bill and over charged us.

As a stop-over from Bari airport on the way down to Lecce, this was a great find. The hotel is superbly located on the main road to the South right next to the fishing village/town of Torre a Mare. We stayed here on the way down to Lecce and then the night before our flight out of Bari airport.

Great panoramic view from the restaurant on the last floor. Rich and tasty breakfast. A lot of parking places in the hotel’s private parking. The hotel is next to a busy road and its quite isolated from that sound.

The walls seemed a bit thin, since conversations by other guests were noticeable from time to time in the evening.

The staff were very responsible and helpful. Even though they were not very fluent in English they did their best to be helpful and informative. The hotel is very clean and renovated. Very good breakfast and qualified restaurent, Wi Fi free and functional in the room, Quiet and friendly atmosphere . Sea view rooms provide romantic stay.

The hotel located in a wrong place. It is pity such a nice hotel and staff are working in a place that is disconnected from the city. No public transport system connect you to Bari. Taxi is the only way at very high rates. A shuttle bus can be organized by the hotel however not essentially at the time you require but at a time possible for the driver. If you have a car, enjoy the hotel, if you have not you will be in trouble with the inadequate transport system.

Ideally located on the ss16 to Brindisi/Lecce. Super friendly staff; both at the reception desk and at the breakfast. Good Italian coffee without an aditional charge. The village of tore a mare is pleasant for a evening stroll and value for money dinner at the harbour.

Really a business or stopover hotel which happened to suite me at the time but I did not enjoy the restaurant meal. If you have a car then ok as you can easily get into the town. I could only have a degustation menu. Did not want that much food. The dishes were all very dry type of foods which meant you had to drink a lot of water which in turn made one bloated and uncomfortable. A lighter menu might be better but they are probably acting for the business traveller!

Excellent value for the money. Modern, spacious rooms and super clean. WiFi, AC and TV and for that matter everything worked. Good selection of TV channels. Breakfast room had a great view with great staff, better selection of food compared to the standard Coffee and Cornetto Italian breakfast. The location is away from the city but it worked for us since we had a car and didn't want to stay within crowded areas of the city. A short 8-10 minute drive got us there. We had a great view of the sea. You can hear the road noise with the window open but the AC worked perfectly fine so we kept the window closed at night and enjoyed a great night sleep in the comfy bed.

Not a complaint since we knew ahead of time and it didn't bother us, but to point out that the hotel is out of the city and close to the road.

Nice hotel, staff. Very clean. Food and transportation was a little pricey. But worth it on the end.

Distance from the airport and cruise terminal. Taxi was a little pricey.

We were totaly satisfied, Price very reasonable, Reception allways with a smile and very helpful, Breakfast was plentyful and the waiters allways with a smile and very helpful and gave us a few good tips where to go. It is so convenient in location and very easy to find when returning back at night, and allways easy to park and very safe as it is enclosed. We can only praise the hotel and find nothing to conplain about. Will come again anytime.

Zeer goed verzorgde kamers, goede ligging t.o.v. Bari en Adriatische kust, uitstekende prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding.

Voor de door ons betaalde prijs mag je hier geen opmerkingen plaatsen.
