La ubicación y el servicio al huésped
Que no tiene un spa para ir juntos la pareja
Nicely situated near San Marc with a lovely terrace on the grand canal. Staff is caring clients
the staff in the breakfast restaurant are great, friendly, make you feel special. the breakfast was the best experience in the Bauer.
We booked a room with view to the gran canal, when we arrive the staff told us that they will upgrade us to a Junior suite. when we see the room we didn't like it, no view not what we want it and booked; when we went back to the receiving area the clerk make us wait for 20-30 minutes and you were able to see that he didn't like it that we ask to have what we booked. make us feel very uncomfortable. this was a surprise because we have stay in hotels of the same group like the Grand Tarabaya in Istanbul and the palace in Jopur (India) and the service always have been excellent.
ambience staff helpfulness (the concierge was AMAZING) and friendliness breakfast buffet and terrace location water taxi pickup at the hotel
room service food was APPALLING. The worst late night sandwiches I EVER ate, and they weren't cheap either! AVOID!! Room service wine list
Very expensive for what it is!
We booked a deluxe room and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a top floor junior suite with superb views towards St Mark's Square & fab views of the lagoon. The view from the roof terrace at breakfast was superb and not to be missed. Staff all friendly and efficient. Great being able to arrive & depart using the hotel's private jetty in water taxi to/from the airport.
All you would expect of a top venetian hotel. Outstanding features: the breakfast roof terrace and the hotel shuttle boat to sister hotel.
No explanation for roof terrace being closed during the day - would be brilliant for relaxing,'sundowners' and night views.
compare to other hotel in rome, this hotel is a spacious one. it has direct access to rome termini and its not far from the main shopping road via del corso, about 25 min walking. it is worth to mention that a number of tours gathering point is at rome termini. Therefore, this hotel is very convenient if you consider to take some tours during your trip.
you can feel a little bit of the vibration given it is close to train station. however, it was ok with us.
-Staff very friendly and helpful - Great breakfast with fantastic views - spacious room - fantastic location
- had to go from ground to floor 1 then take another lift to the required floor
Location not quite as good as Denali and lobby definately not as good and rooftop dinning not quite as good a view but room was super duper and service was very very good. I actually would stay here next time if I could get the same room.
One guy at the lobby desk was a little full of himself but his support staff was great.
location great breakfast good
noisy air con jaded furnishing in room not worth the money was expecting better glad we didnt pay full price of over 1000 pounds
restaurants here look out onto the grand canal and the food was excellent. Staff at hotel went out of their way to please you. A holiday you will remember for a long time. Shame I came home 2 days to early or I would have seen George Clooney.
Staff were very polite.
Room was so far at the back that there was a very long walk from the lobby to the room and need to change elevators from lobby to get to the room. The section we stayed at looked old and dingy compared to a newer section on the opposite side.
Great location and standard of accommodation However lacked a bar and lounge areas Very efficient staff
We had an amazing stay, we booked this for our wedding night, the staff couldn't be more helpful, the suite was magnificent with a stunning view over the salute church. If you want Venetian grandeur at it's finest then look no further.
Classic decorated hotel. Location great with views over the grand canal, staff is very formal but nice, very clean, the consierge guy is fantastic
Rooms are classic but can be seen as slightly outdated, although its a good hotel pricing 500+ was too much, 1 shirt pressing €28,-, breakfast with fantastic view but birds eating from plates and staff threating them as their own
The location was excellent and the staff, without exception, were friendly and helpful.
It is a pity there is no pool - I had mistakenly thought the spa contained one.
Everything - location, style, bedroom suite, views, service breakfast
Food in restaurant not as good as we would have wished at that standard of hotel, but maybe they had an off day. Location stunning
Proximity to main attractions, shopping, and piazzas.
Small tv, furniture border on antiques, and breakfast offering leaves a lot to be desired.
The romms of the hotel are specious. We satyed at the rooms in the highiest floor, the view was amazing.
location staff breakfast buffet
shabby in areas in some rooms, you can hear from room to room esp in bathroom
Location was great - Saint Marks square was a minutes walk, the concert hall 5mins, it's boat jetty was very convenient for transfers to airport or railway station. Access by two entrances - one street and one on grand canal Staff very professional, helpful and friendly Good wifi Rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished. The lift from the lobby was a show piece There is a wonderful story about the Bauer Il Palazzo and Palladio - the building, the owner and the hotel today. You can feel her warm and purposeful presence ! The breakfast terrace was stunning in July - breath taking views of San Marco and the basin in front We booked lunch at sister hotel Palladio across the lagoon. This garden dining was a welcome break from the bustle of the Grand canal and San Marco. Food and wine was excellent, staff professional, discrete and attentive We met some Hollywood celebrities - which is a rare and bonus event for us residing in Mauritius! It was perfect for our 12th anniversary getaway - memorable and romantic, a true Venetian experience! Thanks!!
Was very expensive, but then Venice is very expensive
