Servizio splendido, colazione al settimo piano con terrazza dalla vista spettacolare! Camere molto belle e servizio disponibile per qualsivoglia esigenza! Servizio motoscafo veloce e sopratutto l'hotel e' in una zona centralissima ed ottima per shopping e ristoranti... Perfetto per una vacanza di lusso e di relax

Struttura e posizione ottima, camere arredate con gusto e lussuose bagni belli e confortevoli. Personale professionale e gentilissimo anche se non preparato nel consigliare i ristoranti.

Ristorante deludente, non all'altezza dell'albergo e della fama. Diversi piatti del menù terminati già alle ore 21, qualità cibo e presentazione scarsi, servizio disordinato e disorganizzato. Pur avendo prenotato un tavolo nel primo pomeriggio abbiamo dovuto aspettare che lo preparassero e questo in un ristorante del genere non dovrebbe capitare. Deludente

The hotel was fabulous. Perfect location with superb staff who realy looked after us.

The location was exceptional for Venice, our suite was comfortable, room was quiet, clean etc.

The only small criticism is the lack of tea or coffee making facilities in the room

Location and arrival dock better than dragging suitcases over bridges. Good view of grand canal for those very few rooms that have it. Thats about all there was to like.

Very poor directions to facilities offered. The place lacks and real substance of quality. The wifi is hopelessly slow and not suitable for business. Room service was just not Italian cooking but frozen microwaved junk food just never try a pizza.

The location and staff are wonderful.

Where wasn't a kettle in the room to make a coffee or cup of tea. Also the bed was to hard and give us back ache.

The staff of the hotel, especially in the breakfast room. The staff people realise very well about the problems in the hotel so they tries to compensate all inefficiency with a big smile.

Attention. Typical fregatura italiana! Be aware that the Bauer Il Palazzo is not the Bauer hotel. These two hotels are linked by a long corridor. Once you arrived at the hotel be ready to do the steps and two lifts with your luggage to join the reception of the Bauer il Palazzo. To be checked in I waited for 10 minutes for the receptionist in front of three member of staff just looking a at me and making me "sweet and polite" questions about how was my trip etc. ... The room is old fashioned with tapestry on the wall which a bit smelly. Instead of a King bed, as it was promised on the website, I had two beds put together that was really uncomfortable. The duvet was just coverd by blanket and not in a proper duvet case, that really surprised me about a 5 star hotel. My room was number 310, the red one, very dark... The walls are very thin, it was possible to hear the jacuzzi of our neighbours very well! So, I remain very disappointed. When I arrived at the reception of the Bauer il Palazzo to be checked out I was old to go the the Bauer hotel's reception to do that. So I took one lift, then walked through the long corridor and the took another lift and the another long corridor. I did all this nice walking with all my begs. :-) When I finally arrived at the Bauer reception, I was told: I am sorry, you should do the check-out at the Bauer il Palazzo reception desk. ;-). So I needed to convince the lady to be helpful so as I don't need to go back with my language... I remained very happy when I gout out of the hotel, I had a very big sensation of being released.

Absolute quality of the staff - you get would you need a little bit more, comfortable bed, very good linen sheets, stunning and breathtaking view from the restaurant on the roof especiallt designed for breakfasts

Barrier arround the Jacuzzi on the roof should be a glass fence not wood so you can see the city - this should be possible for a high level hotel like the Bauer Palazzo - everything elese is great

Location

Extra-charges for Internet and everything for breakfast, which hasn't been put on the buffet, e.g. You have to pay for fried eggs even. Only one person did the service on the roof, so clearance of our table was always done with big delay. A room for 550 Euro per night without a real window. Opposite house-wall only 2m away. The long corridors have the atmosphere of a hospital. Dark. No decoration. We couldn't close our old door by key. Hotel was informed that we were on honeymoon. No preparation at all. Restaurant even for Venice extremely expensive. There is no reason at all to book Palazzo, as in the same building complex is The Bauers located. 50 percent cheaper. Both hotels even share the same staircase.

No TV in the bedroom.

Our 3-night stay at the Bauer Il Pallazo was almost excellent. First of all, the location is perfect, right in front of the Grand Canal, and at a 5-minute walk to San Marco Square, this is the perfect location to explore Venice, mainly if it is a first time. The room, a deluxe suite, was very nice with as "époque" decoration, spacious and confortable, although a little bit oldie. The breakfast, on the roof terrace (this is the tallest building in Venice), was excellent. The service was average (for a plus 500 euro/night hotel) . The overall experience of staying at a Palace in central Venice was fully achieved, but there is room for improvements

The restaurant (De Pisis) was a disappointment. No TV on the bedroom, just on the living room of the suite

Il Palazzo bauer se trouvant sur le bord du Canal,,si vous arrivez a pieds, il faut d'abord passer par le bauer c'est hotel 5 etoiles qui partie du meme complexe, qui se trouve a l'arriere du palazzo, on a l'impression de tomber de haut en bas car la réception du palazzo bauer n'est pas aussi prestigieuse que celle du bauer, alors que le palazzo est plus cher.
