Really good location, you could walk to the duomo within 5 minutes, also walking distance to the central train station, Uffizi, Galleria dell'Academia. Breakfast is good, staff are all helpful (they take shifts, so you get to meet new ones everyday)
No lift in the building, so if you carry a heavy luggage, be prepare to climb "some" stairs. Only public area is covered with wifi, but that makes the canteen a good place to socialize and meet people from all over the world. Only room 9 is the exception, because it's the closest to the canteen.
You couldn't get better location than this. Staff were great, extremely helpful and breakfast was excellent. The room was very large and quiet.
Bathroom was small but ok and there was no TV. Wifi was only accessible in the front room and no air conditioning, but in Oct that is not an issue.
Near the city center. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were very spacious
Breakfast was small
Good location and good value. Rooms are big.
No wifi in room and no elevator.
No wifi reception in the room
The breakfast was okay.
The location is fantastic, easy to find, close to all tourist attractions, and we had a room with a view over the Duomo - Santa Maria a family of 4 with a big rooms, bathroom was great, but the water was temperature was temperamental, very clean and I would stay here again.
No WiFi in your room.
we stayed 2 nights, the buildingwas nice and givingyour the feelingyou live over there. the bathroom was inside the room, clean and enough hot water. The toilette was common for 4 rooms but always clean and always with the toilette paper and liquid soap. the price was reasonable for location and cleanless. The rbeakfast was also good.
The breakfast could include some cheese and tomatoes.
the owner needs to learn a little bit of customer service. tend to his guests needs and not huff around the place like its some chore, smoking cigarettes and moaning. a smile wouldn't hurt would it! :)
Great location. Fantastic 15th century building. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast.
The hotel is central but difficult to find, our GPS failled and nobody nearby knew the street. We booked a double room with a shower, but there was no water, we used the shared bathroom. Our room was faced to the street and very much noisy. If we close the window, the hot was unbareable. Thanks god there was a ventilator in our room!! The breakfast was ok for the 70 degrees we'd to climb to get in our destiny...
Location, nice/historical building, high ceilings. Clean room and friendly staff.
Very small shower
5 min to the cathedral. Close to all sightseeing spot. One of the listed very old building, is a experience to live in the history. Clean room. Big. Comfortable.
Very difficult to find. The sign is small. I need help from the shop attendant nearby. And no light after getting in a building with 1000 yrs old. Exactly the scene in horror movie. Suggest owner to put some lighting and big, eye-catching signage. I also notice other new visitor checking-in also have difficulty on finding the hotel. No lift. You have to carry the luggage to 2nd floor. And note that 1 floor of this building equal to >2 floor of our new building. But young guys should have no problem.
location is perfect, between the bridge and cathedral. rooms are big enough. breakfast is so good. linens was really clean.
internet is only in dining room. you won't have connection in your room careful about that. there was a dog in dining room. no elevator. it was hard to carry our big luggages.
Perfect location! Best value. Unforgettable experience of staying in a palazzo build in 16th century.
location price suited my family (ie 1 adult 3 kids) interesting historical building
5 big flights of stairs to room - no lift shared toilet reception staff could be more welcoming breakfast could be a little more interesting
Staff friendliness, roomy rooms. We got the room for 4 it was huge! We loved it!
The steps! There's no No problem when you go out to have fun, but checking in, and leaving are a hassle with all the suitcases and with the many many steps..
I liked that the room was spacious.
I did not like that there was only 2 toilets for the entire Hotel. I also did not enjoy having bites all over my body every time I woke up. And finally I did not like that when approached with this problem the staff dismissed my concern and did nothing.
Two bathrooms to share for way too many rooms. Wi-Fi not available in the rooms.
Centralised location in the heart of Florence, just around the corner (end of road and turn left) is the 'yellow bar' which we would also recommend for its excellent food and atmosphere. In the Bavaria the friendly and helpful staff were great, with the Receptionist speaking more than one language. The hotel has a very high level of cleanliness throughout, our breakfast was lovely, and included juices, cereals and assorted breads. The rooms are huge, bigger even than in the photo's! They also have very comfortable beds. Although the hotel only advises wifi works in the 'common parts', I was able to access it in our room without any issues.
It was in the perfect location! Just a few meters away from the Duomo and other tourist destinations. The breakfast was also wonderful!
It was located on the 3rd floor of an old building. It was quite an inconvenience bringing a luggage all the way up to the hotel.
Style of the hotel was great, amazing breakfast
Location is good.
Hot in the room. Wifi only available at breakfast room, not in all public areas. Long stairs. It's a bit hard if you carry heavy luggage.
Helpful friendly staff
All the stairs but worth the exercise
