clean, old world look good bed big room breakfast decent
noisy at night internally. not from the street but from other guests. doors are very thin. and sharing a bathroom
Big room, nice breakfast and good staff!! Near downtown Florence
The hotel is on the second floor of a building, so we had a hard time finding it.
Friendly staff, very good breakfast
Location, room, staff, breakfast all amazing.
Shared bathroom and no wifi in rooms.
wonderful pallazo; big room; breakfast ok; good location
only two bathrooms; Moskito nets are urgently needed!!! we where kept awake all night by those biests and couldn't Close the window, because the room smelled weird...
The room was nice and big. ..bathroom was a good size, great view. Breakfast was good. Lenny was very pleasant and helpful.
Dish washing Noise during breakfast.
location, staff and area
no wi-fi in the room, poor breakfast in the morning, no TV or other device in the room, a little bit too cold due to the position of the room.
The location and price.
Had to share a toilet, the internet was not good or fast and could only be accessed in common room.
Of all the italian cities I visited..florence was the prima donna.Hotel bavaria's ambience was in perfect sync with the rich, historical vibe that florence exuded. Antique furniture...beautiful replica paintings that I saw hanging at the uffizi gallery. Excellent breakfast, lovely location opposite a pretty wedding showroom. A very spacious quadruple room that I stayed in with my family. absolutely fell in love with hotel bavaria. If we had problems communicating in english at certain other B&Bs...here there was an affable gentleman who spoke fluent english & all in all..the best place I stayed at..while on my trip
Some tiles of the floor were coming off where we tripped...but I guess its such an old heritage building that few things are bound to get loose & wobbly. But the overall experience was so good that this hardly mattered
The building was incredible, a one-off. Location was central and perfect.
The hotel was very central and very old which we loved .Close to a small square with authentic bars and restaurants
No water sometimes useless shower .Poor breakfast
Really good location, you could walk to the duomo within 5 minutes, also walking distance to the central train station, Uffizi, Galleria dell'Academia. Breakfast is good, staff are all helpful (they take shifts, so you get to meet new ones everyday)
No lift in the building, so if you carry a heavy luggage, be prepare to climb "some" stairs. Only public area is covered with wifi, but that makes the canteen a good place to socialize and meet people from all over the world. Only room 9 is the exception, because it's the closest to the canteen.
You couldn't get better location than this. Staff were great, extremely helpful and breakfast was excellent. The room was very large and quiet.
Bathroom was small but ok and there was no TV. Wifi was only accessible in the front room and no air conditioning, but in Oct that is not an issue.
Near the city center. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were very spacious
Breakfast was small
Good location and good value. Rooms are big.
No wifi in room and no elevator.
No wifi reception in the room
The breakfast was okay.
The location is fantastic, easy to find, close to all tourist attractions, and we had a room with a view over the Duomo - Santa Maria a family of 4 with a big rooms, bathroom was great, but the water was temperature was temperamental, very clean and I would stay here again.
No WiFi in your room.
we stayed 2 nights, the buildingwas nice and givingyour the feelingyou live over there. the bathroom was inside the room, clean and enough hot water. The toilette was common for 4 rooms but always clean and always with the toilette paper and liquid soap. the price was reasonable for location and cleanless. The rbeakfast was also good.
The breakfast could include some cheese and tomatoes.
the owner needs to learn a little bit of customer service. tend to his guests needs and not huff around the place like its some chore, smoking cigarettes and moaning. a smile wouldn't hurt would it! :)
Great location. Fantastic 15th century building. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast.
The hotel is central but difficult to find, our GPS failled and nobody nearby knew the street. We booked a double room with a shower, but there was no water, we used the shared bathroom. Our room was faced to the street and very much noisy. If we close the window, the hot was unbareable. Thanks god there was a ventilator in our room!! The breakfast was ok for the 70 degrees we'd to climb to get in our destiny...
Location, nice/historical building, high ceilings. Clean room and friendly staff.
Very small shower
5 min to the cathedral. Close to all sightseeing spot. One of the listed very old building, is a experience to live in the history. Clean room. Big. Comfortable.
Very difficult to find. The sign is small. I need help from the shop attendant nearby. And no light after getting in a building with 1000 yrs old. Exactly the scene in horror movie. Suggest owner to put some lighting and big, eye-catching signage. I also notice other new visitor checking-in also have difficulty on finding the hotel. No lift. You have to carry the luggage to 2nd floor. And note that 1 floor of this building equal to >2 floor of our new building. But young guys should have no problem.
