B&B Alghero Republic

It was a very nice B&B. The location was great. Nice, clean room and great breakfast. The price-quality was real good.Stefano was really nice and gave a lot of information!

Great location and having breakfast so accessible, particularly when leaving early in the morning

B&B was situated in the city center so close to the old town and beach which was good. Owner is very helpful and friendly.

Shared kitchen was too small and there was no possibility for own cooking.

Stafano is a very helpfull owner of the BB Alghero republic - always willing to share with you tips & tricks what to see and do in Alghero & surrounding. In fact, BB Alghero Republic is a flat with 2 rooms for rent and 1 room where the landlord lives, what gives you a warm feeling of hospitability. With the bargain price we have got it's a great place to stay in Alghero. BB Alghero Republic is less than 200m to harbour, bus stop, supermarket and historical center.

Stefano, the guy who runs the place is really nice!

Dont go to have dinner to "nettuno" in down town jaja bad food.

We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Alghero. The owner Stefano was fantastic, kindly and very helpful. The rooms were clean. The bed was fantastic comfortable. Very fast free internet - of course wifi. Good location near old town, very helpfull owner.

Nice clean room, enough parking place available. Good self service breakfast,there was bread, drinks etc available and you could use it whenever you wanted. We received much information for sight seeing, beautiful views etc...In case of any questions and/or requests we could always knock his doors ( Stefano) and/or ask him.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The owner Stefano was really friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and comfortable (especially bed) but the mirror could be bigger :). The location of B&B was very close to the city center and beach. We will recommend this place to our friends.

B&B Alghero is near to the historical old town and not far from the beaches. Shops and discounters are near by, also public transport (both reachable within walking distance in about 5 minutes). The Twin room has about 16 sqm, with own bath. "Manager" Stefano is very friendly and can help you to plan your stay.

"Incl. Breakfast" does not really mean breakfast, but the possibility to do one's own. Coffee-pads, tee and softdrinks are allocated for free as much as you want, also shrinkwraped panini.

Free Broadband access. Tea coffee facilities and Stefano was very welcoming.

Stephano was very helpful, giving us advice on restaurants and other amenities.The room was very clean and compact.The breakfast was self service and plenty of fruit pastries, bread tea and coffee at any time.Excellent for young or at least active people (we aren't young and managed the stairs no problem)and great value. would recommend.

December probably not the best time of year to go to alghero as not many of the attractions were open and the weather was a bit chilly. Could have done with an extra blanket one night but I am sure if we had asked he would have obliged. If you don't like walking up stairs this is not the place for you. It was 3 stories up in what I presume was a residential building which at first confused us as there was not big sign to say we were in the right place.Not a problem really.

The location is top notch. About 5 minutes from the old town and the marina.The owner took his time to explain us where to go. Really friendly guy. Also, he basically provides stuff for breakfast, but you have to make it yourselves. So if you decide to sleep in, no problem :) You can get fruit, juice, snacks and water at any time.

It was a bit noisy. Doesn't bother me though. Also it's on the fourth floor.

Very comfortable room with great service. Had a self-serve breakfast which was great.

Only downside is it is on the 3rd floor so it's a little hike whenever you go in and out of the building.

The location is quite good, just 10 minute walk to the old city and the port.

Breakfast isn't good, it is self service and mostly muffins and juices. The beds at the twin room were not very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, bright in the day, cool and quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. There was a good coffee machine so we could have espresso in the morning and a self-serve breakfast of fruits, yogurt, brioche, bread and jam which we ate in our room. It was great to have a fridge in the apartment so that we could store any food we bought as well. The owner, Stefano, was really great. He picked us up from the airport and made sure we had everything we needed. He takes very good care of the place and was available if we had any questions or needed anything. Overall, a very comfortable, pleasant and relaxed place. We would happily stay here again.

Good kitchen facilities. Help yourself breakfast. Air con and hydro massage shower. Good location, 5 mins walk from old town.

Everything was wonderful

I did not know the flat is on third floor and there is no elevator in the building. Frankly speaking ther is no breakfast you pay for it. Good price, but the room was no clean and very noisy. Good location but the city is so small so you better find another place !
