The location was wonderful. A very quirky two storey apartment with a very large shower area.
The bathroom acoustics! The glass door onto the lane.
Giorgio was very hepful Excellent breakfast with homemade products Confortable rooms Good WIFI connection
Location slightly difficult to fine
Giorgio, our host, was very helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean. We were able to park our car in the street outside our room.
B&B Nonna Isa was difficult to find, and there were too many stairs for us, an older couple.
The best B&B in our two weeks in Puglia. Room and the atmosphere was wonderful. Great bed and the best traditional home made Puglia cake fro breakfast! Worm welcome and felt you are in with the family. Excellent!
Very helpful host, excellent breakfast, atmosphere very friendly and welcoming, came to rescue us when we were lost in finding his B&B
They were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. One can easily walk to the historic centre.
The location was extremely close to the old town and the central square which was handy for restaurants and bars. Giorgio, the owner was extremely friendly and very helpful - booked us taxis when required and was always on hand or a phonecall away if we had any queries.
It is not easy to find B & B Nonna Isa. But only a phone call and Giorgio picked us up in Ostuni. He informed us what is taking place tonight in Ostuni. The room was very clean and breakfast very good. We enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this place. A couple from Switzerland.
We did not manage to stay in the BB the night we planned due to the fact that (as it was explained to us) there were certain troubles with water supplying there (even though we found water in the tap of the room that was supposed to be ours). Our acquaintance with the BB started when we came there and dropped our car along a nearby street 100 m away from the destination, as it was not so clear where exactly the BB situated. Then we called their intercom, nobody replied though. Neither was the the door opened. Then we pressed another button to connect some apartment in the building. They opened the door and we went upstairs, right to the BB. There happened to be only an old man. He was not a customer of the BB and seemingly was not aware enough of how everything worked in the BB. He did show us a room and we hurried up to park our car next to the BB's entrance and take our luggage from the car. But we did not manage to lock the room's door with a key we were given. Anyway, we parked the car on the narrow street across the building. Then we were told by local residents that it was not allowed to leave cars there (even though they do). So we left it next to another building. Half an hour had passed... We tried to contact the BB's owner dialing his telephone number. We did try to do from the BB's telephone and we failed. And finally after other 20 minutes the owners came and told us they had tried to call me but failed (even though I had no troubles with incoming calls during our trip). They said they were busy looking for a hotel to let us stay and they showed us one. The hotel was a 4-star one. Everything was good there, including its location, parking and everything. It seemed to be better than the BB.
Excellent location, in a quiet side street of the historic centre, an easy 5' walk away from the central square (bus to the railway station). Spectacular views from the roof terrace. Very friendly and knowledgeable owners (as it was raining, they came to fetch me at the central piazza by car). Best breakfast I have had in Puglia in 2 weeks time.
The weather (rainy, windy and cold, especially in the evening).
The owner send an email where he suggested that he could meet us and show us the place. He also provided us with a map informed us on where to park the car. The breakfast was very much italian style, with a lot af sweet things, but also with youghurt.
We had to wait out in a cold car for almost one hour (50 minutes) after we arrived before the owner showed up. When we called him and told that we were there, he said he would be there in 10 minutes. The breakfast was very much italian style, with a lot af sweet things, but also with youghurt.
Friendly owner/staff quiet location price/quality is good old city a short walk away
Graziana and Giorgio were great hosts. To facilitate us finding the location we met up at Piazza della Libertà and they guided us to the B&B. It was a quiet night, only the two of us, so we had the choice of room. We picked the smaller room with balcony! Great view all the way to the sea. The roof terrasse allow for a nice 360 view of Ostuni. Good Wi-fi. Breakfast was way above par compared to other typical Italian B&B. Recommend.
Everything was lovely, my room had a balcony with a great view and the rooftop view was even better. Typical Italian breakfast, the sweet bread is scrumptious. Would definitely recommend if you want authentic B&B experience.
Giorgio was very helpful when we arrived and his wife had been very helpful with travel information beforehand. We thought our room was spacious and nicely furnished. The breakfast was good with slightly different choices each day. We particularly liked the focaccia. There was a good view from the terrace, although it doesn't have shade at the moment.
Everything. Place was excellent, people friendly (but only an owner could speak english, but that wasn't a problem because he called us explaining everything). Breakfast amazing with home made jams :) Room was clean and tidy with beautiful cosy bathroom. On a balcony you could rest on nice designed chairs and sunbathing for a while. It was extremely close to the white city, post office and info point. Recommend that place very much :)
Price was a little bit expansive for us, but beside that was great.
I didn't like anything about this place.
Quite possibly the worst accommodation that I have ever had the misfortune to book through the booking.com website. An awful location and gross misrepresentation in the property description. The rooms are in a domestic apartment and the breakfast has to be taken in a family dining room which feels grossly intrusive. There is no sound-proofing. The ‘sun terrace’ is an open roof area. The wonderful views are non- existent. The room is poorly furnished and during my stay it was not cleaned or the bed made up. Bed linen is old and grubby. There is no real visa payment facility. The owner prefers cash and will email you before you arrive to demand this. If you insist on credit card he can only offer a non-secure paypal method - so beware. Finally the breakfast – without doubt the worst ever. The description promises homemade cakes, frisa bread and local produce but all we were given were cellophane wrapped supermarket bread and cake, a slice of toast each and a stale croissant between us. The Tea was ok. The place is a disgrace – it charges hotel rates for the worst possible standards of accommodation – I couldn’t wait to leave the place. Be warned – avoid!
1. Wonderful view from the window to the historic centre 2. we were lucky to find parking free of charge near the b&b
