Comfortable bed, friendly and accomodating staff
Everything is perfect
That s the pkace to be. Special thanks to Vincent who was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very clean and new. Vincent helped us to reserve a taxi to answer all our questions. I m definitly coming to this hotel again. A great value fir my money too
Breakfast in a coffee with one hot drink and croissant is not enough. Besides everything was perfect
Very clean, cute and safe in the best neighborhood in Rome! Great value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.
Very friendly staff, we met Vinzenzo. We were end of October and first night I was a bit cold under single blankett, after my request next morning, I have found second blankett and note about air conditioning ready to be turned on with the high temp. set on for me. During 4 days visit we have only used bus twice -to get from and to Termini Station. When you ready to walk a bit, it is only 25 min stroll even to Piazza Navona, the heart of Trastavere is 10 min walk. It was nice to have a kattle with cups in the room, so we were making not very popular tea in Italy. A glass of wine for hello was also very nice especially that we had 5 hours delay due to the fog on the airport in Krakow! If you like flea markets you have best location-every Sunday morning since II w.w. the gigantic Porta Portese market is 10 min. walk from the room
If you are very sensitive sleeper the noise of trams, ambulances nearly all night long might be a problem for you. We slept with windows well closed and blinds full on and it was still quite loud but not to put ear plugs in we had taken with us. After all day long visiting and few glasses of wine we slept not too bad.
We checked in at 11am. The owner was friendly, gave us a map and pointed out the tourist spots. The room was clean.
This looks nothing like the online photo of the outside. There are no pot plants, no flowers, the bar next door is framed by plastic hoarding which is covered in graffiti. In fact it's on a dirty, busy main road, main bus and tram route. The pretty Trastevere area was a good 15 minute walk away, do not be fooled by the address of this place! The room was furnished sparsely and didn't feel cosy at all. The bed was rock hard. It's an apartment which has been converted to rooms, therefore, "Beds" but breakfast, such as it was, was served in a bar next door. I wouldn't call this a "B&B". Despite the shutters and double glazing the noise is horrendous! We hardly slept during the two nights we stayed there. If it wasn't trams or buses, it was motorbikes and sirens all night long! On the second night the power went off, it never came back on. The only light coming in was from an outside street lamp. There was no window in the bathroom, so we showered in the pitch dark. I couldn't wash my hair, as I couldn't dry it. We dressed, and packed, by the light of the street lamp. We had booked a taxi to take us to the airport for 7.30 am, but as we were awake most of the night listening to the racket outside, we got up and left before 6.am. We flagged down the first taxi we saw, we just couldn't wait to get out of the place.
Absolutely everything was good about this accommodation. Very friendly and helpful people, clean and comfortable large bedroom, good bathroom with bidet.
The bed was comfortable and clean
The smell of the room The traffic noise, no soundproof rooms like they advertised No AC control, I was hot
Warm welcoming, wifi, clean, ensuite room, the flexibility of the breakfast, The owner give you the possibility to pick up your bag when you want
Everything was perfect! Location, price, cleanliness, helpful brothers, modern appointments, great internet and ac. Just 5 minutes' walk to the center of Trastevere, choice of two buses to trains/metro stations and to central Rome, stopping in front of the B&B. Nice choice of pastry for free breakfast at the bar downstairs. Was never so pleased with a hotel in all my travels. Perfect!
It is conveniently located in Trastevere and everything is in easy reach. It is a nice area to stay. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The room is spasious and very clean. If I'll get back to Rome, I'll stay there for sure.
Service was excellent, the owners were very helpful, very kind, they helped us with everything. Our flight was very delayed, and we arrived late at night and Mr Lorenzo, one of the owners, apart from the fact that he replied very fast in every e-mail I was sending, he was waiting for us and helped us with everything. The room was very clean, supplies were renewed everyday, everything worked properly, location was very good, near to the city centre and in front of the hotel there was the bus and metro.I would select it again. Thank you very much for everything.
wi-fi slow. Poor breakfast.
Very helpful staff
We stayed for two nights before our flight home from Rome following a holiday in Umbria. The B&B is well located and within easy walking distance of Trastevere train station. Tram no 8 stops right outside and this will take you into the centre of Rome. This was not our first visit to Rome so we would normally have walked around (Rome is an eminently walkable city) but we did use the tram due to the heat – it was 37 degrees at 5.00 one afternoon during our visit. Our room was nicely furnished and scrupulously clean. Although small, the bathroom was pleasant and, again, very clean. The owner, Vincent, is a lovely man, extremely welcoming and helpful. He helped carry our cases up the stairs (the B&B is located on the first floor of an apartment block), and greeted us with drinks and a “briefing” about Rome, together with a map of the City. We were initially concerned that the property was not staffed round the clock, however, Vincent responded quickly when we got in touch with him “out of hours” about a problem with our air conditioning and it was promptly fixed. The air conditioning was excellent by the way (much more effective than the 4 star hotel where we had stayed prior to arriving at Trastevere Rooms). Vincent also arranged a transfer to Fiumicino at a very reasonable cost of 40 euros. All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Trastevere Rooms again.
The road outside was pretty noisy, but any problems were easily solved with a decent pair of earplugs.
Prefect location, nice rooms and breakfast in the bar downstairs. And the price at 65 euro was unbeatable for Rome
Really good location, walking distance to most things and the tram no 8 stops outside. Nice area with lots of restaurants and cafes a few streets away. Very clean bright and nice room with a king sized bed and functional and clean bathroom. The owner was really nice, kind and helpful in any way possible. Tip - If you are arriving from Fiumichino, there's no need to travel to Terminii and back out. Take the local train to Trastevere station and then the connecting 3b bus which stops opposite the hotel.
The main down side was the traffic noise which the advertised soundproofing reduces but doesn't really eliminate. Also some late night noise from people in the restaurant outside. However we slept through most of it, using the A/C unit. The bathroom was a little small and the door opening restricted which could be an issue for some people but wasn't for us.
Very clean. The room is pretty big for 1 bed. The owner is very nice and helpful even though he don't speak that much English. The map that I got from the hostel is very easy to understand and to get around. It's also in a very good area. Very close to the city center and tram stop is right in front of the building.
It's far from the metro so the only way to commute is take tram to Piazza Venezia and walk(though most of the attractions is pretty close from there)
I liked our host Vincent. Really nice guy
Helpfull owners. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Clean towels/beds etc.. Excellent location oppoisite Number 8 Tram stop. Walkable distance to (with in 2 miles) of main attractions. There are shops within few yards to buy bread etc and carrefour supermarket in 200 yards. Overall I strongly recommend this place.
Noisy (next to main road). Not a problem for us as by the time we come back, the traffic quitened. No facilities in the room to make hot drinks (no Kettle), again not a big deal for us.
Not luxuary but clean and enough and good equipment. Walking distance to cozy restaurants. You can also walk to Navona or Vatican City in thirty minutes. Trums in front runs only three stops to Trastevere Station which directly connect to Fiumicino international airport.
Lift was classic.
Perfect location for sightseeing and very close to lovely restaurants and bars.
Everything was spot on! Excellent, would reccomend to others
Close to buses and in Trastevere.
Only croissant and coffee for breakfast.
The location is great because there is a bus stop and a tram stop right in front of the hotel. It is a 5 stop ride on the bus to get to the metro station. You can also take the tram or the bus to the Trastevere train station and it is about 3 stops away. The internet was really fast. The owner was hugely kind and helpful. The breakfast was a pastry and coffee of your choice. It was delicious. We bought yogurt at the nearby Conad and felt ready to start the day. The room was larger than I expected. The water pressure was good and we had plenty of hot water. There are also a ton of gluten free dining options in the Trastevere area.
The bathroom door didn't open all of the way because the bathroom was small. We actually didn't mind it, but other people might.
The room was clean. Trastevere is very nice location to feel real spirit of Rome (even if it is not near metro).
