Boasting a spacious rooftop terrace, Hotel Alpi is an Art-Nouveau style property a 5 minute walk from Termini Train Station. Castro Pretorio Metro Station is only 1000 ft from the hotel.
Score from 1120 reviews Very good
Hotel Altavilla is in the Esquilino district, a quarter mile from Roma Termini Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Piazza della Repubblica. The simple rooms all have a satellite TV and a fridge.

If you're relying on public transportation during your stay in Rome, it's a good idea to be close to Termini Station, from which Hotel Luciani is only 165 ft away.

Wonderful help full staff, close to corner store, train station, eateries, hop on hop off tourist bus,
Small room, old decor, we are used to Australian standards of spaciousness but as we only used to sleep, would stay there again
A bit noisy because of terrace outside our room
Good location. Helpful and english speaking staff.
Had to pay 5 euros extra for a/c. Very noisy day and night. Spent 26 hours without water to shower in the bathrooms.
Rooms are spacious with high ceiling. Shower rooms are nicely decorated. Friendly staff does speak English.
No telephone in our rooms. There is strong paint smell in newly renovated rooms, which are located in a separate building. Complementary breakfast is not enough for regular people.
bathroom did not have water that day
The "Beautiful Place In Rome" B&B is very close to the Roma Termini train station (5 min by walk). The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice, clean and you can find everything that you need, no luxury but for this price it is very good. The B&B seems that it's quite new, not noisy at night, they serve italian breakfast in your room.
perfect place for 1-2 nights in Rome. the rooms quite small, but clean and comfortable. did not try internet connection, cause we were too tired, but all the rest was really ok for the price that you pay. the staff very cordial and helpful!
Five minutes to Roma Termini. Super convenient for travelling.
The personnel trying to check-in guests into a different location further from the railway station although the room was booked in the "main" building. We stayed for two separate nights and both times we had to argue with the reception, however in the end we got what we booked.
Espantoso pseudo hotel.
Stuff was really helpful. They gave us a good upgrade and we stayed in a really big apartment. The place is very close to Termini (5 minutes). In our room there was everything one needs.
staff are help, location isgood
room to small
the staff was very nice and helpful. the wifi worked.
dont expect to get a breakfast even if you orderded one. they give a corsson and a juice. the shets stinks . you mighat wakeup in the morninig because of the bells that are ringing at the next door cherch
Very good location
Had to pay extra for air conditioning
Excellent location. A couple of minutes walk from side entrance of train station. One minute from airport shuttle bus (only 6 euros). Walking distance from Omnia rome pass bus, and 10 min from inexpensive best pizza place in Rome 'Pinsere'. Staff is quick in responding. They keep your luggage after check out so that you could go around for few more hours. This place is good if you are sight seeing and want to spend less for sleeping. Rome
Not as clean as you would see in 2 star hotels in USA. Elevator will hold 1 person with luggage. Room was small for 3 but well planned to provide adequate storage. Bathroom was smelly, but staff took care of it. No view from window. Packaged breakfast was served in room (a croissant, small juice carton, a coffee packet).
Handy for train station
Poor area - lots of people sleeping rough in this area, poor breakfast - just long life food put in your room. Handy location for the station. You have to pay 5 euros extra per night for air conditioning!
Location near by the Termini, easy to move around and go to shopping area
Size of room
The hotel has a very good location, very close to the main train station.
The hotel is situated on the second floor of a building which is hard to access with a baby carriage. The breakfast was very poor.
The location: near the termini
Everything, the room stinks,3 days nobody cleaned the room, the breakfast is veryyyyy cheap, the beds are not comfortable at all... we would never go back again
Location across from termini was great. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Not really a not like just a fore warning. The rooms were very compact, but worked for us. Don't plan on both utilizing the bathroom at the same time!
Very nice and helpful staff
bad odor in the room A lot of noise
We stayed in the apartment, which in fact was a quite big flat (2 bedrooms, completely equipped kitchen and a bathroom) located nearby the hotel. The apartment was clean, equipped in quite new furniture, comfortable beds, proper bed linen and towels. The only minor disadvantage – it was a bit dark, as located on ground floor, but we spent majority of time on visiting Rome, so it wasn’t a big problem. The biggest advantage was the location – almost everything worth seeing available within walking distance. Good value for this price level.
No bedside lamps.
Very close to Termini Station. Room is clean.
One of the bangali staff is not nice..he dealt with me in a rude manner.. Hotel wise the place is good, fair enough to stay.
Location was excellent, the room was nice.
Let them stop lying about the Wi-Fi option, my friends and i chose that hostel over others because of Wi-Fi but for our entire stay, we had to move down to the reception area to access internet. That was the most annoying experience. They can also improve their breakfast.
