Not enough sockets No locker
Loved the location close to San Marco square. Also the balcony on the roof is amazing. We loved the views from up there. It was great to get there from the #2 vaporetto.
Although there was an elevator there was still a fair amount of stairs inside the building so it is not suitable for everyone.
Breakfast can be made unlimited since in most of the hotels in Europe its unlimited .
Extremely clean and well maintained place Good location Nice showers Friendly staff Breakfast OK
Wi-fi signal in the dorm was poor I found my bed too soft
Clean and comfortable Nice furniture Helping staff Secure

Location! Comfort! Super place!
Breakfast was a bit disappointing in amount, variety & quality. But lots of places to eat all around so not a big issue
Great location, very helpful staff, plenty of shared bathroom space, nice porch area for picnic meals, good value for price
The bathrooms with showers had them in tubs and there were no shower curtains or bathmats. Made for a slippery and sort of messy floor when you got out.
Good location Nice Stuff
this place was very clean, great location and had a beautiful view
Staff were welcoming and tried to resolve issues where possible. The manager helped with room changes after a dreadful night in a dorm. The location is excellent, really the key benefit to this hostel. WiFi was good, and the towels provided were huge, and were changed daily. Coffee plentiful and good at breakfast.
The dorms are noisy and beds too close together. Beds are narrow and uncomfortable - 2 different beds I slept in had missing slats, and they all squeaked. Not enough power points - you had to choose between a bedside light or recharging a device. Bathrooms lack shower curtains so floors get wet and dirty, there is no soap for hand washing after the toilet (they provide a small bar to each guest - perhaps you are supposed to carry it at all times?!) Plus nowhere to put soap / shower gel, shampoo etc in the showers. Showers, whilst hot and powerful have old fittings, so it is like standing under a hosepipe. There are no hooks in some bathrooms, and a tiny stool to put clothes, towel etc. Breakfast was poor - a small roll, a strange sweet croissant thing (not all that nice) and 2 crackers in a basket with butter and apricot jam. Horrible fake orange juice and cornflakes with milk. Although an inexpensive place to stay, I wouldn't return.
This hotel is worth more than what you pay for in terms of its location by the San Zaccaria vaporetto waterbus stop. This strategic location allows you to travel everywhere in Venice and to Murano and Burano economically (recommend buying a multi-ride vaporetto pass if you are staying for any length of time) and with a minimum of fuss. Furthermore, you are a short walk to the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’S. This is not an easy place to find because it does not have external hotel signage. The place is very clean and although the toilets and showers are communal, we had them virtually to ourselves during our 3-day stay. Thoughtfully, disposable toilet seat covers are provided. Sometimes you could hear activity outside the room, but this is normal and the place is really very quiet. Do not expect any more than the basics in everything here – towels are changed every 3 days; breakfast consists of croissants, rolls, and hard toast; butter, jelly, yoghurt, cereal with milk, juice, and one cup of cappuccino (a second costs 2 Euros). In short, everything is rationed; we were surprised that we had an extra ration of 2 jellies and 2 pats of butter on our last day. Met 4 different staff during our stay, all very helpful, but check and verify information given. All in all, however, this is a convenient and centrally located property. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Venice who wants a clean, economical, and pleasant place to stay.
Although very clean, there were some minor slips. There were no large spoons for cereal, you had to use your teaspoon; milk droplets were on a glass at breakfast, there was a cobweb in the corner of the entrance to the bathroom, and there were no floor mats in the bathrooms. This last sometimes made it difficult to avoid slipping on the wet floors after a shower. There was a troublesome mosquito in the room one night and some caked substance (might have been candle wax) in the desk drawer. Physically, there were not enough electrical outlets so that a laptop and other devices could be hooked up and a new three-pronged adapter is needed for non-European devices. The three-pronged outlet here is different (it might be the new standard) from some others encountered in Italy on this trip and in the past. Wifi speed is a bit slow. Finally, the room (#3) is tiny and cramped. The set-up of the room was challenging with the beds facing each other so that only one person could watch the television situated over the other’s headboard. The other is obliged to look across, face-to-face at the viewer.
Situated very close to the big central San Marco Square - just a few meters away, with many vaporetto piers very close - connecting you to almost all vaporetto lines. A decent breakfast included in the already cheap price was quite a hefty added bonus in terms of value for money. Wifi was also good.
lack of lockers in the rooms. Although lockers were available near the reception.
Location is great because it's near the port of bus, service and facility are all best
Everything in Venice is very expensive. So is this place, but it's worth! It's very closed to the pier and Basilica di San Marco. Every main attraction you can go by walk in short time so that you don't need to waste money in the expensive traffic fee - just a return tickets between train station and here (if you won't go to other far islands by boat). The breakfast was simple but enough: 2 bread and juice or coffee. The staffs there were really kind.
More sockets for charging electronics would be nice
Excellent location and view from the room and terrance. Lovely view of Venice. It is an old hospital with generous corridors and nice old furniture.
The location was very close to San Marco and the vapretto stop. There was a lovely atmosphere with spacious lounges and a rooftop patio. The view from our window out over the water was great! The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our time there very much!
posizione, panorama, pace.
Good view and location. Staff is kind. Room is generally neat.
There is no guest kitchen. And i couldn't find the refrigerator for the guest. Sometimes wifi is a little bit hard to connect in the room.
- large rooms
- slow wifi - few plugs - no security
# interior design is beautyful #clean room # dormitory is not bunk beds, single bed for each #clean and large bath room #nice staffs #nice break fast #good location
# dormitory bed is a bit narrow for men
Location is great. Staff were very helpful.
A little difficult to find. Breakfast could be improved.
The hostel is easy to find and there is a amazing terrace, where you can see the city. The bedroom is wide and the bed is comfortable. The bathrooms and toilets are clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good.
There are few outlets to charge the cell phone or camera batteries in the bedroom, and everybody need to do this in the end of the day.
