LOCATION: The hotel is situated in the old town. Very beautiful narrow streets with old buildings. The main pedestrian street is right there when you go out of the hotel. Salerno Duomo and many nice small churches are in 2 minutes walk. A lot of restaurants, bars, shops are around. Seafront and bus stop are in 2-3 minutes walk.
ROOMS: The hotel is small, just 4 rooms: 3 rooms are not big but very nice, bright, clean, with new furniture, one room is big with a huge beautiful bathroom and wood ceiling. All rooms have a nice small balcony with a view on the old town streets. In the rooms you can find everything you need - minibar, tea-kettle, hairdryer etc. There is a vast living room nice decorated where they serve breakfast and where you can spend your time siting on the sofa with your computer or watching the TV. The Wi-fi works perfectly.
THE HOST: The host, Ludovico, is very welcoming, punctual and always ready to help. He helps with finding the hotel, always meet his guests and tell them everything they need to know about the area. We had a baby with us,so Ludovico gave us a baby bed and also when we needed found a great nanny for the baby with whom our baby was really happy) You can always find Ludovico if you need and he can help with lots of things like taxis, restaurants and so on.
SALERNO: Salerno is a very nice city, not so touristic and not small as Maiori,Minori,Amalfi,Positano..There you can find many normal places, not for tourists, but for Italians, with nice cheap food. There is no good beach (just one small wild beach and a paid one which is bit far away from the center). But frankly speaking if you stay in Maiori, Minori,Amalfi or Positano you won`t find nice beaches too:they are small and you can`t swim far. At least in Salerno you have many places to go in the evening because it`s much more bigger than other towns. We liked the beach in Vietri that is super close to Salerno and also there are many nice beaches on the way from Salerno to Paestum.
