The location is excellet. The hostess very friendly.
Excellent location close to all of the sites just steps from the Duomo.
Street noise at night. But it was to be expected.
- Friendly staff - Perfect location near Duomo - Good value for money
- Italian-style breakfast: a few biscuits and instant coffee - This place has a mosquito problem, and we were not the only guests to have experienced this, given the amount of stains on the wall...
the hotel's location was perfect nice sleep good price
breakfast is very poor and after 12:30 no staf in otel
close to doom (the main church)
1. Very noisy at night as to close to busy road , 2. No body in the house to open the door or to help if we have a problem 3. no breakfast room and no proper breakfast 4. we left 8.30 am and still there was no body
In the city center. Near to other places of interest.
This is not a proper B&B, just an apartment on second floor, staffed only 3hrs per day. Staircase was so dark that I fell and twisted my ankle. Staff said it was my own problem that I couldn't get my luggage upstairs and only when I said I couldn't check in he offered to help and dragged the suitcase upstairs so awfully that I was surprised it made it up in one piece! Breakfast was the worst I've ever had in Italy: stall bread or fruit cake left in the room for 24hrs. Kitchen is locked so no way to fill the kettle either. No AC and windows got to be closed due to street noise and the smell of the restaurant below. Guest were very load the first night and electricity alarm was triggered the next, no staff was available to deal with neither! Disappointed
localization just in front of plaza del Uomo
If u looking sth for romantic holidays thats NOT the place. Its dirty, breakfast included in the price of the room = jam and some dry bread, there is info that parking is available but no information that u have to pay 25 Euro per day!! Rooms are small and old with no privacy.
The location was good and it was clean. It was safe they gave me 3 keys and 2 pass codes.
The breakfast was a stale packaged little cake and dry hard toast. The staff person leaves at noon so if you need something you have to call them to come back. I had a problem with my TV and toilet. I figured it out for the toilet. There's no elevator and you have to walk a few flights in a creepy stairwell. I got there a little early the lady started telling the guy in my room to check out so I could have the room which cut his time about 20 minutes. Good for me but bad for him.
The hotel location is good.
The room is too small. There is no table, no chairs, no shower towel, and no light in WC. The room door handle is broken, and the douche door is broken.
This B&B is clean, spacious, excellent location and really great value for money ! The view of the duomo is magnificent and would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will definelty be going back
Only two minor problems: 1.The wifi didn't work in the room and we had to go to the reception area to get a signal. 2.The breakfast was pretty much not existent.
Fabulous location, Coffee machine in reception area, Close to station,
Air con broken, Tiny room Horrid stale breakfast left in basket for 24 hrs each day, Nasty cheap pillows, Staff only present for 2 hours per day.
Location, view, simple, clean accommodation
Near dumo and old florence Good price
small room and poor bathrooms
When I first came into the room, I had I feeling that I was back into my university years. The location is great and the personnel really cares about you. Coffee machine makes proper italian espresso.
Perfect location and lovely, romantic room.
Room was hot during the night.
The Kitchen serves as the sitting area, but is very limited, without relaxing seating
The view from the room across the square, the friendly staff, the room itself that had a good size and the fantastic localization.I really recommend it.
We had to go to the reception to have internet signal.
Excellen location! In te centre of Florence, very near Duomo, and close to every cultural attraction, and very near the station. I was there for business, but it was nice to be a turist anyway thanks to this location. The room was clean and staff was kind.
Location is great Every morning first thing that you see from window is Duomo
There is no reception desk You should carry the keys of the hotel not only the room all the time.
Simple....but a hell of a location and a great value for the money. Would stay here again for sure.
Nothing really it was a good experience.
Brilliant location, simple, but lovely room, and friendly helpful staff. Good communication from B&B before visit put us at ease.
Wasn't a quiet area of town, and sounds from street were not insulated much from the room
Great location if you don't mind the street noise. Friendly, helpful staff.
2nd floor with no lift not good for us oldies. Breakfast not worth bothering with but if you an an wait till 9. 00am 2nd floor of Oblate Biblioteque on the left further down the same street is good value and great view of the Duomo.
You couldn't ask for a better location. Walk out of the hotel and you are at the Duomo. Near the train station and all of the action.
As most other have posted, the noise at night was terrible. Worst noise experience in our travels through Italy. On the other hand, if you want to be in the middle of the action that is the tradeoff. The alternative is to stay in a more remote area.
Beds and bathroom were clean but windows and windowsills filthy. Room was extremely tiny but was sufficient for our purposes as we were only staying one night. It was very well located. A bit misleading to call it a Bed& Breakfast though as breakfast consisted of packet croissants and sweet cookies. There was a lift in the bldg which went to the 2nd floor but for some reason wasn't working. Would have made dragging my suitcase up a lot easier. Location and 2nd floor also meant it was very noisy; any noise on the street sounded like it was happening right in the room. Would suggest earplugs next time. Also the shower head is tiny and pressure not strong enough to wash thick long hair. But overall, place was good and worth it for the price and location.
