Bed And Breakfast El Dorado

Location was central - right next to the Vatican and the Via Rienzo shopping area and close to subway station. The room was quite modern and clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. Also the neighborhood was quiet and safe. If I go back to Rome, will definitely try this B&B again.

Owners were so fantastic..very warm welcome!. They make you feel comfortable... Very clean environment and breakfast is very good for us. Area is a good 10 min walk to Vatican. Highly recommended!!!

Just the signage that's too small to notice, a bit hard to locate when you really don't know the area. Airconditioning is a bit noisy that wakes you up when thermostat activates.

Location: Very convenient. Our main activities were in Vatican City which is the reason why we have chosen El Dorado. It is just roughly 5 minute walk to St Peter's Basilica. It is located just a couple of minutes walk from Ottaviano Metro Station which will connect you to the other parts of the city. El Dorado is basically like an apartment located in the first floor of a huge and old but beautiful building. You need to email the staff what time you are going to arrive so that they can meet you and guide you to your rooms. There is no reception desk so this is necessary. Staff: Very accommodating and very nice people. This is a family-run B&B. We met two of the sons and both are very kind to us. They speak English which is convenient. They've given us a map and told us where to ride a bus/metro to get us to the tourist destinations. Room: We had a double room and it is huge ;) We had the pink themed room. (I can't remember if it's called a sapphire or a ruby room :D) It is nicely decorated and it is very clean. It has a flat screen tv and a fridge. The toilet and shower is nice and clean as well. There is a hair drier and hot/cold water. Breakfast: It is served in the room. It consists of a croissant, coffee, juice, toasted bread with jam and butter, yogurt and fruits. Everything is delicious. There are lots of restaurants nearby so food is not a problem. Just a suggestion, try the Indian/Pakistani restaurant downstairs they serve a very nice tandoori. I wanna thank the 'EL DORADO' brothers for making our Rome holiday a great one! :)

Rent is really cheap with the best staff, location and service. We enjoyed and we were even upgraded on our last night stay. Highly recommended to all tourists via Rome.

Very nice and well located B&B. It is just 6 minutes walk from St.Peter cathedral and few minutes from several metro and bus stations. Rooms are clean and very nice. People in B&B are more then nice. We had shared bathroom, but we didnt even notice a single problem with that. Breakfast is serving in the room. It's very good, but there was nothing salty, only sweet breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bed And Breakfast El Dorado. We often see that the hotel rooms doesn't live up to the standard shown in the hotel photos, but at this place we were not disapointed. The rooms here are great. The room was very clean - breakfast was fine and the staff was extreemly helpfull and serviceminded. The location was perfect - close to the metro and close to the Vatican. We can for sure recommend others to stay here. You won't regret it:-)

Your shower is good for nothing, because the cabin is small. primitive and the tap mixer is not like it should be. I burnt may skin twice by hot water.

El sitio es una preciosidad, cómodo y limpio. Andrea ha sido muy atento en todo momento. Muy bien comunicado con el centro, tanto con bus como con metro se tarda menos de 10 minutos. La zona tiene un montón de restaurantes y bares. Totalmente recomendado sin duda.

Nous avons aimé la situation geographique du B&B, l'accueil chaleureux, le petit dejeuner servi sur demande ds la chambre, la confort de la chambre.

Nous avons été derangé le matin par le bruit et l'odeur des toilettes (broyeur).

Wij vonden de bedden erg slecht. We hebben heeeel slecht geslapen. En de drukte van de straat.

sehr schönes Bed&Breakfast: gute Lage (ruhige Wohngegend und dennoch sehr zentral mit sehr guter Verkehrsanbindung an Metro und Bus), sauber, gut ausgestattet besonders hervorzuheben sind die sehr netten Besitzer, die bei Fragen gerne weiterhelfen und gute Tipps geben

El hotel es muy lindo y confortable. El staff es muy amable. Está cerca de todo. La limpieza excelente. Recomiendo totalmente este Hotel.

El sitio tiene una muy buena ubicación, es muy agradable y cómodo, la atención de Andrea es magnífica, muy amable y servicial.

Quizás el precio, de resto muy bien.

La chambre, la salle de bains étaient dans un état absolument irréprochables (très joli salle de bains d'ailleurs). Les personnes qui nous ont accueilli : vraiment charmants et aux petits soins. Ils nous ont donné aussi des petites adresses pour manger sur Rome : avons été ravis et y avons mangé à plusieurs reprises dans le quartier !

On ne peut pas dire que l'on n'a pas apprécié : très, très exagéré. Ce qui pourrait etre un peu amélioré : petit-déjeuner avec des biscottes et une viennoiserie (+miel, beurre, confiture, nutella etc). On aurait juste apprécié un peu de pain frais : rien de bien méchan. D'ailleurs, le café était très bon + jus de fruit + grand yaourt.

Todo. La ubicación es perfecta, esta cerquísima a pie del Vaticano y también de la parada de metro de Ottaviano que conecta con otros sitios de visita obligada, etc. El personal amabilísimo, tanto Andrea como su madre son un encanto y te ayudan en todo lo que necesitas. Sin duda, si vuelvo a Roma, volveré a este hotel. Me ha encantado en todos los aspectos.
