Too far from everywhere. NO BREAKFAST, no internet, no service, or any kind if attention.
Sabrina was extremely helpul
parking is difficult and expensive, we were lucky not to get a fine in the street outside the hotel, where we thought it was safe to park. Daytime you need to move the car
On-street parking was free. Only 20-30 minute walk into the city centre. Cheapest room in Siena by a long way.
The place isn't a B&B, as advertised on the website; a family have bought the apartment next door and crudely split the individual rooms into en-suite rooms. There is no sound insulation between the rooms, the shower was broken and the wifi didn't work.
Everything was great.
It was people that smoked in the side rooms.
The location was only a short walk to the train & bus stations as well as Siena town center. The room was large, newer and very nice. The hotel was quiet although the cars outside could be heard in the morning on week days. One of their relatives found an adapter for my adapter so I could charge my battery for a camera.
The WiFi really did not work unless you went into the kitchen outside you room. The owner really was not very helpful with directions or anything else. They take cash only to pay the bill although other hotels take Visa. The owner was very cavilier about saying that there was a cash machine downstairs that we could use--we could not use that machine with our cards. His wife did deduct the 10 euros for the commission to convert $200 to euros. Had we been able Visa to pay the bill, we would have netted 141.07 euros on $200 after a Visa's service charge and exchange rate. Instead we got 130.84 after a horrible exchange rate and 10 euro charge. You may want to consider only hotels that take Visa or Mastercard once you factor in the cost of exchanging money.
the room was simple..management friendly..nice price/location..
Perhaps a sink could be installed.
Nice and friendly staff. Comfy rooms 5 minutes walking to the train station
1km walking to Siena city centre (which is fine) No breakfast
Wi-Fi,view in window,no breakfast,no silence,no condition,no map of Siena on the reception
