the host Dorothy is very nice and we have talked with her for more than 2 hours in the morning. we share a lot. The breakfast there is simple but delicious. i like the bed and the environment there. i felt relaxed and enjoyed the time in Arezzo. Will visit the hostel again if i have opportunity.
the wifi didn't work
The flexibility of being a guest in someone's home, with your own key. The owners were very attentive and very very friendly. The house is full of art which creates an interesting environment of arts & culture. Breakfast is great, self service but also with freshly baked bread and coffee served by the owners.
Make sure to let them know when you'll arrive as the owners are not present at the B&B at all times.
Amazing staff Clean and excellently maintained Well decorated
We were very warmly welcomed, given an excellent quiet room with balcony and given a lot of excellent recommendations, for places in Arezzo - including a great restaurant, and also for other regions we were visiting. Would definitely stay there again!
Dorothy made our stay excellent. Delicious breakfast. Good location. Great art work.
Few too many people sharing the bathroom but not a huge negative.
Really homey B&B. The owners are wonderful and friendly. The kitchen and the bathroom are shared, and you are free to use anything in the kitchen, as long as you clean up. Free parking behind the building and a 5-minute drive to the center makes this a great location. The owners gave us some excellent recommendations to eat - definitely try "Agania" in the center of Arezzo.
Everything was in place. Nice atmosphere, interesting decoration, clean and a tasty breakfast. The couple that owns the hotel is extremelly kind and helpful, always with a sincere smile on their face on every request.
Location. You need to walk next to a busy street about 10 minutes before you get to the walls of the old town. And you need to walk 5-10 minutes more to get to the center. Arranging to get the free bikes that the hotel offers would facilitate one's staying.
5 minutes by car from city center, very friendly staff, good quality/price ratio, clean, quiet
breakfast might have been a little bit richer, but it's not bad in the end
One of the year's best holiday experiences, really friendly and kind host.
The best ice creams that we've eaten in the Italy (during our 2 weeks round trip), just across of the street :) Decor of the room is really intriguing. Personel (i think he was an owner) was really nice and kind. Very good value for money.
Te location is rather far awey from the historic city center and the road there is not really friendly if you go there on your own foot. The building is just next to the busy street and there is no air conditioning in the room (which was not a problem for us, as we were too tired after sight seeing to not sleep at night :)
Room was nice and had a big balcony. The owner, Dorothee, was very helpful. The city centre is not so close but with bicycles is very easy. We would definitely recommend this B&B to others. Arezzo is very beautiful!
Very generous hostess and home-like atmosphere. The ability to cook is wonderful. I enjoyed this stay so much.
An extraordinary, lovely place with lots of creative things to discover. The owners are very nice and helpful, the place very privat, clean with beautiful rooms. You get a very familiar feeling, for just a little money. Thanks to Dorothée and her husband
We had a very comfortable, large bed. The room was spotlessly clean and there was very little noise from the road. We were received by the very friendly owner. It was the best value in Arezzo when we booked.
Unfortunately, the people staying in other rooms got up and left in the early hours and other guests also very early. Noise travels in the apartment and this woke us up several times.
Everything was great, but especially the couple running the Casa was really nice and hospitable, sort of giving us the impression that we were guests at their home. They served us breakfast and gave us advice on the places to visit. The place is stylish, decorated with old kind of furniture, with the touch of the lady owner, who is a painter. The room (twin room with shared bathroom) was spacious.
Very nice place located in a distance of 15 minutes walk from historic center. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. There is a shared kitchen and dinning room. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Also there is a big free parking just behind the property.
It's definitely one of my best stays ever. The room is clean and cozy. The host is so friendly and gave me a lot of sightseeing and restaurant information. \ The location is a bit far away from old town (about 15 minutes walk). However, if you have half day for Arezzo, I'm sure the 15 min walk shouldn't be an issue. In fact, it give you the opportunity to enjoy more of the city.
Casa Elide is a beautiful flat with some very nice rooms close to the city of Arezzo. The owners are very warm and friendly. The flat and the rooms are very beautiful. You can share a fully equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom with the other visitors. The whole flat is appointed with a lot of love, nice paintings and many lovely details. Overall, living in Casa Elide has a strong and nice family atmosphere for a very good price and the owners are just lovely! I recommend to travel there by car and take some days to explore the area around Arezzo :)
The staff was very nice and helpful. The hostess is a painter. There are a lot of paintings on the walls. The kitchen is free for use.
It was very cold, the Heating was not enough.no credit cards accepted
