Perfect location. Nice breakfast on roof terrace. We stayed in the annex, spacious. Nice staff. Seemed to be good standard for Trapani, good for a few nights (wich is enough in Trapani). We enjoyed staying at Garibaldi.
Simpel, some socket doesn't work. Shower was small and slow. Close to the family who had it (our balcony had view over their terrass).
Good location for one night - close to both the station and the port. Lovely breakfast on roof terrace.
Personally I would not want to stay longer than one night. Very close quarters with the owners part of the house, made it a bit tense. Loud bar not a problem for us in our room but i imagine it could be.
Terrace to sit out on and watch the world from above . Excellent for Trapani old. Icy and easy to walk around. Extremely good valve for money.
Car parking is nearby in a free car park but it's about 300 metres away and we worried bout the safety of he car. All was well in the end.
Location Staff Room Hotel
Overall it was a major disappointment. The room we were given looked nothing like the rooms on the website. It was situated on the roof of the house. The shower was broken with cold and hot water flowing interchangeably. There was an old stinky wardrobe in the room so we had to keep the window open. However the noise of Saturday night partying in Garibaldi street forced us to close the window. We couldn't get another room when we asked. The room wasn't properly cleaned either. Overall it cost us a lot of money for very poor quality room. Wouldn't recommend it. There are better and cheaper places in Trapani.
Oscar, the owner went out of his way to pick us up from when we had arrived and were lost, he actually came to pick us from the parking space and took us to the hotel and then transferred our stuff to his car and took us to the final parking space for our car. Also the rooms were great, and the breakfast was served on an outside terrace which was lovely to sit at, even after breakfast. Oscar's mother made fabulous homemade pasteries and goodies. On the day we left, his mother and team served us breakfast very early and went out of their way to help. Now the final wonderful thing, my glasses were lost and Oscar found them and said he would mail them to me in NY. What fabulous service. Would totally recommend this place who is looking for a great location and lovely people who run it. Coming back soon!!
That we couldn't stay longer. Not one thing.
Location and staff wonderful. Room had olde worlde charm. Stayed on the ground floor in a studio which comprised of a good sized room with a good shower room and a kitchenette. Great courtyard to sit out in at night with a good bottle of local wine. Breakfast - goog choice of tasty food.
Lots of noise from the pizza place next door until late at night so if you like an early night then ear plugs would be useful.
*Perfect location *Very Nice Owner *Nice home made breakfast on the rooftop.
This accommodation was disappointing. The view on the booking form was of the Palace opposite whereas the B&B was down a passageway next to the late night Pizza Restaurant. Via Garibaldi is a good central road but there is no parking. We had to park on a public square 10 minutes’ walk away. There was no parking fee but a large individual ‘offered’ to ‘look after’ our car for a donation. The room was adequate but in the adjacent kitchen we could write our names in the dust on the surfaces. We were kept awake until after midnight (on a Sunday night) by music from the Pizza Restaurant which was open to the street. Additionally the kitchen extract discharged onto the yard adjacent to the door to our room. Breakfast was surreal as we were seated at a small table in a cramped room with two ladies ironing adjacent to us. The breakfast selection was extremely limited. This was one of 7 nights we spent in different location in Sicily in the week and we scored some of them very highly so we are not being overcritical.
The location was great with easy access to the center of Trapani. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom had a bit of a problem with sewer gas, and it was a bit smelly. Not a huge deal as long as we left the vent fan on, but it was a bit annoying.
Good location, amazing roof terrace! Nice and helpful hosts and a good breakfast with lots of choice.
The room was small and not super comfy (bathroom was too small for tall people and the bed was old) and our window was at the staircase, so people walking by all the time.
Lovely friendly owners, in a wonderful location with ,lots of wonderful artwork in the place. Very tasty breakfast.
Noise from a nearby pub up to 01:30
Situated on the main street in Trapani. Helpfull staff, understand english, which isnt very often in italian people. Nice balcony.
Poor bothroom with fungus on the wall. Typical italian breakfast.
Centrally located, very good breakfest (homemade pastries). Friendly and helpful staff.
Room no 1 had wet corner - I think it is because of the water going down from the balcony on the 1st floor (it was rainy for 2 days). Sunday night was noisy, as the location is in the center, we heard music till late hours. WiFi had very weak signal downstairs, in the room (good in the breakfest area).
The staff was very friendly & helpful. Prime location and by walking distance there is the bus station, train station, bars restaurants & shops. Breakfast was really good and the room was very clean.
The location was great, just at the main walkway with bars and restaurants, also not far from the bus station and port. The rooms were very clean and decorated in a retro style, which was very nice. Breakfast typical sicilian- only sweet but we did like it very much. Overall very nice B&B with the nice lady owner as well.
The location and the staff
A bit too noisy
welcoming and supporting staff
The staff was very kind, and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
Value for money. The hotel is in a prime location and the breakfast was great. Recommended
The roof of our room was low. But overall it was an excellent experience
Pretty much everything from this place, from the staff to its location
Can be a bit noisy from the neighboring lounge bar, but that's what it takes to be in the historical center.
A lovely spacious apartment, looking out onto a sunny courtyard. Very comfortable accommodation.
Bathroom window opened onto family work area. Some screening would be helpful.
great location, very nice and helpful staff, very good breakfast, wi-fi in the room
the hotel does not accept American Express despite such information on the website. Shower is very small despite big bathroom
Kitchen is Ok, so you can make dinner yourself: pan, cup and everything you need for cooking is in the kitchen. Breakfast is good and rich. Location is close to the sea promenade. Food shops are nearby. Recommend this hotel only if you want to spend one night in it.
small rooms with low ceilings. I am 175cm tall and it was not enough place for me. When i watched pictures of hotel rooms i thought that they are large normal rooms, but it was not so.
