-Large and clean room -Very good breakfast -Fantastic location right in the centre of the town

Lovely room in a great location. Good facilities eg. Fridge and free wifi in the room. Delicious breakfast (although coffee was not great).

The staff were slightly eccentric and it wasn't possible to get a decent cup of coffee at breakfast.

Loved Lucca beautiful city ..... hotel not so much.

-We requested that we not stay in La Torre 2 but were put there anyway; -We requested our own bathroom - but it was across the hall which made things very inconvienent and less private; -Old builing - electricity outlets questionable; Room decor very depressing and out of date - need to be updated; Cleanliness very low - did not clean the bathroom (we stayed four days) and only had two towel the entire time; doors were paper thin and the keys were difficult to work; Cost of hotel way too hight for what you got. Wanted to stay and tour Lucca during the day and wanted to avoid our hotel room as much as possible. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff were great and the location fantastic.

Could have been a little cleaner but that's to be expected in places like this I think.

The owner was very nice and helfpul. The breakfast was good, and served by a very nice italian mama! The hotel is very well located, 2mins walk from the main Piazza. It felt like we were in someone's apartment, with pictures everywhere, it was very cosy and felt like home.

The common bathroom could have been cleaned a little more often, and the toilet often smelled

Staff are very friendly and speak excellent English (they are American). Good local knowledge provided. Good atmosphere at breakfast with friendly service.

Owner doesn't stay at the premises overnight and there is no clear means posted as to how to contact them. Nor are there any instructions left if they forget to tell you something at check-in, like the wifi password. Beds were dubious - one sagged, one was hard as a brick!

I loved hotel stuff, they where ever so helpfull in any matter I ever needed. Mother (Lina) of family is real Italian "mamma" who took care of everyone in great breakfast. I am actually trying to book room from there again, to go back in 4 weks time.

This is a comfortable bed and breakfast run by a very warm welcoming and helpful family. It had everything we need (even a grocery next door), for a reasonable price.

The old city of Lucca does not allow none residents to park in the old town. We therefore had to park outside the town and since we were taking day trips this was a little cumbersome. The b and b owner will drive you to the car but when returning late at night you have to find your way. I just suggest paying close attention on how to get to the parking area.

A wonderful location within the city walls, right between the two towers. The owners were very friendly. Rooms were lovely and clean and well furnished. Excellent for the price, and an excellent choice for backpackers and younger travellers. Breakfast was nice too!

The shared bathrooms were a little old and slightly grotty. However, the b and b made up for this is so many ways that it wasn't a big problem, for one night it was perfectly fine and for more they have rooms with en-suite. Shared bathroom rooms were such good value.

In un antico palazzo del centro storico della città, perfetto per farti sentire parte della lucca medievale. Staff molto gentile e disponibile, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Le charme de l'établissement et l'extrême gentillesse et disponibilité des propriétaires. La situation du b & b La Torre est excellente car situé en plein centre ville historique.

La salle de bain est dépourvue de barres et d'étagères pour pouvoir poser le moindre objet de toilette.

La posizione è meravigliosa: nel centro geometrico del centro storico di Lucca, impagabile. La famiglia che gestisce è estremamente gentile e disponibile, oltre che simpatica. Certo, è tutto molto essenziale. Ma visto il prezzo va benissimo così!
