Bed & Breakfast Novecento  

This B and B offers an excellent location and a fine small, quiet (except for the street noise, but this lets up), clean, friendly, low-hassle experience. Franco and Suwako were friendly and warm hosts. Good value and excellent location. I was traveling with a male partner and I appreciated Franco and Suwako's ease and openness with making us feel welcome. I would stay again.

There was a slight smell that we couldn't locate. It wasn't terrible, just a touch off-putting

Very close to the Duomo, but no view. Franco, the owner, was very eager to please but could really only do so much with what he had available. Franco made appts for us to The Accademia and The Uffizi. Also reserved us tickets for an opera.

Hot, muggy room. Air conditioning completely ineffective despite multiple "adjustments" by Franco. We found a floor fan in a utility closet labeled "toilette" late the 2nd night we stayed there (of 4) and set it up in our room. Franco's wife kind of went off on my wife for using the fan without her permission but Franco told her to chill. Created an uncomfortable situation. We just wanted to be cool enough to sleep and blow the mosquitos away (no screens- must be a eu regulation). Couldn't wait to leave Florence and get on to Venice. Free Wifi available, just not in our room. Other guests could get signal in their rooms. We had to stand in hallway outside kitchen to connect (very hot). Our room on 4th floor with no elevator. Franco has an electric bag winch installed to raise bags from the entrance threshhold to the 4th floor. Pretty cool, unfortunately, his wife wouldn't let him use it so we had to struggle up and down the 4 flights with a months' worth of luggage plus souvenirs. Maybe it is a cost of electricity thing. Maybe you don't have to be nice to make a living as a hotelier in Florence because of demand.

Located on 3rd floor without any lift. On the name of breakfast you get some bread and coffee which you'd be better off picking from any cafe for a 4-5 euros. Clearly overpriced for Bed as breakfast is for name sake only. If you are considering this look for better options or postpone the trip.the place is more suited as a hostel for backpackers.

Badkamer zeer klein,parkeren mogelijk, maar niet makkelijk

L'hotel est en plein centre (100m du duomo). Personnel très aimable.

Hotel au 3eme etage, sans ascenseur. Hotel de 3 chambres ! nous nous sommes plus sentis chez l'habitant que dans un hotel.

L'hotel si trova in un'ottima posizione per la visita della città, proprio a due passi dal duomo, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione. Un B&B molto accogliente dai particolari ricercati, camera spaziosa e pulita. I propirietari Franco e Sawako sono molto disponibili e amichevoli, allieteranno il vostro soggiorno con la loro compagnia e i loro consigli!

Colazione non molto ricca, ma chiedete e vi sarà dato!

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti presso l'hotel 900 instaurando subito un rapporto amichevole con I gestori. Servizio alla mano, camere romantiche e arredate con gusto su una delle strade del centro a pochi metri dal Duomo. Consigliato a chi non ha troppe pretese ma che ama un contatto umano e diretto con la gente del luogo.

Centralissimo.E la vista dal terrazzino vale da sola la tariffa.

I tre piani senza ascesore possono risultare indigesti ai "meno allenati"...
