Mario was extremely helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean, modern and comfortable. The B&B is in a very old building (with a very interesting lift!) and is very close to the main train station. There are a few restaurants right on the doorstep but you will get a wider choice in the Barberini/Tritone/4 Fontana areas, which are only a short walk away. Nothing really. We had previously stayed in a hotel nearer the centre, but that cost twice as much.

Nice, clean and comfortable room. The owner, Mario was very kind and helpful. It is close to many attractions and next to the bus station. Termini station is 15 min on foot. The breakfast is too poor, but if you ask for something more, you will be provided!

This B&B is located near the historical center and offers a very pleasant and comfortable stay at favorable price. Room was nicely furnished, spacious enough and clean. Mario was a wonderful and hospitable host always ready to help and make you feel comfortable. In case of next visit, we will definitely stay at Agli Horti Sallustiani again.

- It's an amazing B&B. Very clean and big room. Bed is comfortable and big enough for 3 people. - The owner, Mario is so kind that have offered all he can do to help all the customers. He makes fresh croisants and serves coffee by himself every morning with smile making you feel at home. - Convenient transport. You can find the Metro Republica only hundreds meters away but actually from the bus stop outside you can go to all the places of interests in Roma including Vatican. - Mario insisted to see me off and help carrying my luggage to the bus station because my luggage is too heavy for me and I was not sure about the bus stop to the airport. It's not a short walk and I do appreciate it so much. - Definitely will come back staying here next time. Highly recommended.

Mario is a joly host, giving a warm welcome, room nr 3 comfortable, hot shower, beds ok, fridge with soft drinks @1 euro, wifi reception in room, prepares simple breakfast on trolley when leaving early, location 6 min metro Repubblica, see you later! Slight spores of moulding in shower, old building (poor ventilation) but still needs attention, no reason to stay out

Agli Horti is a comfortable, clean and safe B&B located away from the center of the city which is good because it has a more authentic Roman feeling as opposed to the touristy center (and I should mention better prices - pizza and restaurants) but, at the same time, it is close/walkable to everything, even the Vatican across the river (if you like walking). The staff - Mario - is very helpful and attentive. One thing that one needs to know is that the B&B is located in a large apartment building which is locked so you need a key to get in, just ask Mario how (we got an email from him right after we made the reservation). The shower drainage was a bit problematic. Also, bring your own soap (not enough in the bathroom). I still would like to know where one buys soap in Rome - we spent 4 days looking for any type of store selling soap, to no avail.

The place was amazing, clean, nicely designed with modern furniture and very comfortable beds. Mario was very friendly and always ready to help, we were really pleased with our choice. The B&B was very close to most places, within walking distance to Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps, Colosseum etc.,Bus stop was 1 minute away and train station and underground about 7 mins by walk. B'fast too was good. Would recommend it to everybody.

Amazing stay in a perfect little B&B. Location was great - only 15 minutes walk from the Trevi fountain, 30 seconds to the bus stop and 10 minutes walk from Termini station. Mario was the best host anyone could ask for!

The host Mario went out of his way to make sure that you could easily locate the B&B from the train station. He also spent a significant amount of time recommending different areas to visit and how to most easily get there. When we had an early flight our last day, Mario arranged a taxi to the airport for us and also arranged to have breakfast available for us. Agli Horti Sallustiani is very conveniently located to both the train station, the bus stop as well as within walking distance to many of the best places to visit in Rome.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Mario's B&B after our 7 night cruise on the Norwegian Epic. Mario met us at the door and helped us with our luggage. We used the elevator to get upstairs to our room. The room and ensuite bathroom were clean and suitable for us. The bed was large and very comfortable. When closed, the window in our room blocked the traffic noise, although we left it open most of the time. The light breakfast was more than adequate to start the day off. Mario provided us with a very good city map and he highlighted the streets we should take to each place we wanted to visit. The B&B is in a safe neighborhood, close to many attractions. The Metro is close by; and safe to use. The main train station is a 10-15 minute walk, (through a safe part of the city). There are plenty of coffee shops, stores and restaurants within a few blocks of the B&B. We had an early flight on our last day and Mario prepared us a light breakfast and a thermos of coffee the night before. He is such a wonderful and helpful person. I would highly recommend staying at the Agli Horti Sallustiani B&B. One last thing; the free Wi-Fi worked well in our room. Thanks again Mario from Jeff & Diane.

I would like to very thank to Mario for his kindness and help during our stay in his hotel! We were satisfied with the location, room, services and breakfast. Mario was very helpful to advice about travelling, city centre maps or anything you would need to know. We really enjoyed the stay in Roma and look forward to come back there in the future again. the location is very good, near to termini station and republica metro station and there are pubs, restaurants and bars nearby. What is more important, Mario is so nice and friendly and give us welcome juice when we arrived at his hotel. We arrived at the hotel lately than the check in time, but mario still waited for us till 10 pm. we are appreciated that deeply. Also ,mario kept our luggage and give us the hotel keys, so that , we can get them back at any time we need. he is so nice and thoughtful. We are so satisfied with this hotel , and i promise , i will book his hotel if i come to roma again. Strength of Recommendations nothing to complian, ervry thing is perfect.Strength of Recommendations
