Location is perfect, staff was wonderful, breakfast was nice, small selection but delicious!

As most of old buildings, the isolation is not very good, you can hear people walking upstairs, during breakfast time, could get very noisy. So, could be a problem when you are a light sleeper.

Breakfast was only possible at 08:30am. But we had to leave earlier. They weren't flexible enough to organise something.

Marco, the owner was very hands on and he supplied a lot info about things to see and do in Como and the towns around the lake. He also owns L'Antica Trattoria. We had a delicious meal there and the service was first rate. Assanto made sure that breakfast was set out every morning and he was quick to offer coffee or tea. He also made sure that our room was tidied up daily. We spent 5 days there and the service continued at a high level.

Our host Marco was very accommodating. Carrying our luggage up the flights of stairs to getting us Prosecco in the evening. The room was very cozy and clean. The bathroom was very modern and stylish. The location in Como for business and shopping is perfect.

The walls are a bit too thin. The stairs up to the top floor are four flights, prepare to carry your luggage up.

absolutely not soundproofed AT ALL, you hear absolutely everything (and everybody hears you...) 5th floors (didnt bother but good to know) pricey

Not comfortable at all: cheap beds and linens, no shower gel, no breakfast before 9.00 a.m. Not at all worth EUR 128,00!

Good location inside old city. Close to shopping and food. Owner was nice and breakfast was easy.

Hotel is located 3rd floor in an old apartment but there is no elevator to reach the rooms.

The location is en the central of the city , its very good to visit como town , and the landlord is realy kind , also the environment is excellent . We spend a good time here

Many stairs to reach B&B.

The host is very warmful and the location of the hotel is so good, it's inside of the city and very near to the Como river.

Marco is a truly wonderful host. Rooms were great, very comfortable and stylish. Breakfast was good. Truly the key factor in this property is its host Marco. A room is a room, but Marco made this a truly great experience, and even arranged a cake for my 30th birthday at no cost to us.

We loved the place, but a few minor points will take this property to another level. In the bathrooms some towel rails would be great, even a toilet paper holder. It is honestly only minor improvements needed here. The small things make a world of difference.

Very warm welcome from the owners who did all that they could to please during our stay.

This shouldn't put people off booking, but for those carrying heavy luggage the rooms are at the top of a flight of three stairs and there are no lifts. Also the building is very close to a church so it's bells offer an alarm call every half hour from 7am through to 10 pm. Even so we would happily stay there again.

Location, very cute place

Marco and his wife and staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. His English language proficiency was really helpful. The location in the heart of the old part of Como made it very easy to navigate to all of the sites of interest. The room was well-appointed and spacious, compared to other places we stayed on our trip.

As mentioned by others: the climb up the stairs, the jostling for breakfast, the street noise. Additionally, our bathroom had no place to hang towels, which made it very awkward. Also, our room was below where Mario is currently working on an other guest room - the noise from the walking around was loud.

Great service for a very reasonable price. Great location in the centre of the old town of Como. Facilities in the room better than many hotels.

The central location within the old city of Como and the whole conversion to a B&B with lots of character. Marco and his staff were very helpful and aimed to please.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, truly the definition of hospitality! The room was well appointed and comfortable. I liked the table that goes over the bed, very useful.

Signage at the front door was not clear enough and I didn't know where to go. I had to call the b&b on my international mobile phone which was frustrating. They need to add a sign to tell guests to walk up several flights of stairs to get to this b&B. I mentioned this to them.

Hotel owner's hospitality was perfect.

4th floor and no elevator. Our room was not like in the pictures that we have seen in the site. room is very very small, bathroom is very small. The street is crowded even nighttime.
