Amazing Location, helpful staff, good breakfast selection
The location was great. Few minutes from San Marcos square and from the airport vaporreto stop. It was possible to have breafast on the hotel terrace. The room has nice views to the church
Location Staff Breakfast
Tiny bathroom Unfortunately there was a big windy storm one night and our ceiling started to leak. The staff were very helpful and offered to change rooms. They handled it really well and by next day it was business as usual
Location, staff, breakfast, outside dining/drinking,convenient alilaguna,
Bathroom was very tight!
Excellent location. Easy walking distance to St Mark's Sq & Rialto Bridge. Only 50m from the vaparetto or water bus stop to the airport. Very comfortable, clean and quiet.Room was fairly small but that is common in Venice. Got an excellent 'value deal' for 4 nights. Good variety of food for breakfast and loved being able to eat indoors, in the courtyard or outside opposite the church
the location is ideal, on a canal and close to Saint Marks Square, shopping, and restaurants. Our room windows opened up onto a canal gondola route - the singing and music was amazing.
Hotel 5 min. away from Venice center. Perfect for Honeymoon.
Breakfast Garden, helpful and friendly staff. Great location for access to Water Taxi, Gondola'sRestaurants and walking Venice.
The beds were a bit hard, but not uncomfortable.
Location, clean, good breakfast included. Helpful and polite staff.
Bathroom was tiny
As a single traveller am normally put in a cupboard sized bedroom facing a wall but my room in Bel Sito was charming and overlooking a small canal where gondolas passed every few minutes and spotlessly clean. The hotel is situated within a few minutes walk of San Marco and Academia with a range of shops and sights closeby. Breakfast was delicious with a huge choice of savoury and sweet dishes and although no restaurant facilities there is a small bar with a great view of the square and church. Altogether this is a great hotel with friendly staff and real value for money for those on a budget still wanting to avail of the atmosphere of staying in the heart of Venice.
I couldn't fault this hotel in any way and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
Loved this hotel. Location fabulous, nice & helpful staff and great value for money.
The Gentleman in the front desk
Almost evry thing
Friendly and helpful staff Brilliant location - a few minutes from Piazza San Marco, great shopping nearby, yet far enough off the beaten track for it to be quiet at night Room facilities were great
Only issue I had was it was little difficult to find
The hotel location is ideal. It's steps away from San Marco and very close to the ferry station, so there is no problem dragging around your luggage. Also very close to San Marco pier, so it's very convenient to go to Marco Polo airport at any time of day or night. Excellent friendly staff, comfy clean rooms and good breakfast!
For those flying out of Treviso airport, it's going to be a very long journey
The decoration, location, staff, very clean, would recommend through and trough.
Bed was too hard, I guess if you like hard beds you would find this to be a plus.
Location, near st marks sq but away from the madness. Really helpful, friendly staff. The view from rm 401 over the canal and the people trudging across the bridge wishing they had our room!!
The location of the hotel is amazing, lodged between a canal and a church. We had a room facing the canal, and would open the windows and watch the gondolas float by below, and listen to their song echoing across the narrow passages. In the morning we had our breakfest outside the hotel, literally right next to a beautiful church. The breakfast was a huge buffet, including fresh fruit every morning. The interior design of the hotel and our room was beautifully decorated in a very classical Venetian style. And last but not least, the hotel staff, including Michele, Daniele and others, were the most friendly and intelligent people you would ever hope to meet, and we had nice, long conversations with them. They even offered us complimentary drinks, as it was our honeymoon. Next time we go to Venice, I know exactly where I am staying.
The location was truly excellent; a few steps from the vaporato stop and a short walk to San Marco Square. I read on booking.com that you can ask for a room on the canal, I did that but was informed that this can be booked at an additional rate. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that our room was on the canal although we didn't pay for this facility. This was by far the most exciting experience in our 9-day trip in Italy. We were tempted to spend more time in the room just watching the gondola crossing the canal and listening to the charming musicians accompanying the happy tourists. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely go back to Bel Sito.
Nothing to dislike.
right in front of a beautiful church building very clean, the cleaning staff was quick and efficient
some of the hotel staff were not friendly overpriced buffet breakfast was not that great
Friendly staff, and so relaxing to sit in the little area out the front and watch the world go by.
Pillows and bed a bit hard.
The location of the Hotel was amazing. Antonio was so helpfull and friendly. I will stay there any day.
Area around very pleasant Good location Polite and helpful staff Clean hotel
Noise at night in room above kept us awake. No restaurant in hotel
The location was good,in front of a beautiful church and walking distance to St.Mark's.water fountain for drinking was close by.
There was no internet service in my room throughout the stay and inspite of this had to sign an internet use waiver for the Police.the staff was clueless about the problem.the staff did not inform about the closure of the nearest vaporetto stop S.Maria Giglio which I found on my own,and as the next station S Marco was difficult for two females with heavy luggage to carry over two bridges,I asked for a porter which the helpful early morning front desk gentlemen arranged, I paid 20euros to the porter for 2 piece of luggage which was an added expense.(if I had not arranged a night before I would have missed my train to Rome)the air conditioning in the room was at a fixed 24c,which was uncomfortable .
The location couldn't be better. Right on a nice quiet square, not on the main tourist route. The room looks out onto a small canal where gondolas come by with singers. The room was comfortable and clean.
The guy at the front desk was a bit curt and maybe doesn't like his job?
