The hotel is in a building with very long history, just like the city. The furniture is very traditional to match the atmosphere.

The pillow is not very soft and old.

Great staff, very helpful. Really nice rooms with soul.

Double bed room - it was actually two mattresses on one bed. Not very comfortable if you want to hug partner at night.

Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Working TV and aircon, basic bath, but in good condition. Window blinds are old but work fine and provide full darkness. Actually you will get what you expect.

The main tourist attractions are quite far on foot. Some noise from the street due to old windows, but quiet enough to sleep. Seperate mattress in the bed can be uncomfortable for couples.

This location was a bit farther from the center of the old city than I had hoped but I got used to it... and the walking did me good. The place is very simple but the owner and staff are nice. The price was very fair..especially for Florence in high season.

Make you you have a working phone with you. There was a mix-up, on my part, about arrival time and a note with a phone number for me to call was left at the door of the building. Unfortunately I didn't have a phone and getting in took a long time.

Attentive, extremely pleasant and informative b&b operator; spacious and secure quarters in a safe location; generous variety and quantity of continental breakfast items; proximity to central train station, Santa Maria Novella, and major city sites (never used a bus or cab)

Cramped bathroom and shower stall and heavy traffic noise during morning rush hours, but the preponderance of positives overwhelmed the negatives.

The manager, Rozy, is a very friendly lady and she is an extremely helpful in dishing out a lot useful travel information. The two trittorias that she has recommended are really value-for-money and the food is very delicious. We have had lunches and dinners there during our stay in Florence.

Its location is about 1km away from most of the tourist spots. It is rather noisy as it is just next to a main road. The bed and pillows are soft and, to us, it is not comfortable. At €300 for 4 nights, it is generally not value-for-money, but we guess many of such B&B and hotels are of similar price range that will offer not much value.

The owner is good, the room is good and big enough, the location is not so far from train station.

The overall breakfast is good except the coffee is not hot.
