Hotel Bell'arrivo  

Beautiful location in the centre of the town with views of Lake Garda. Staff were very friendly and helpful with local information.

Just one complaint; no iron was available in the hotel. I've not stayed in a hotel where this happened before and it's a bit embarrassing going for a romantic dinner wearing creased clothes.

Location and memories.

When I booked this hotel, I mentioned in the comment box that we come here every year, and that my Mother came here for her honeymoon in 1946 (she is from Livorno, and a spry 81!), on their 25th and 50th anniversaries, and with other relatives on two other occasions. I asked for a front view room, as that is where they always had a room; for the memories.. But we ended up in the back, top floor with no balcony....something she really missed having...so, we were disappointed in that, because of a 'fiera' in Verona, we were allotted a back room, and those who come once a lifetime were given front rooms...we talked to several of the clients who were staying there. Also, Saturday, a loud band played late into the evening....impossible to sleep...they were obnoxiously too loud....this is a hotel, not a disco, right??

Hotel is in city center, close to bars and restaurants. Clean and nice rooms, with beautiful wiev out.

Staff asked to check out of the hotel before 11am.

Lovely location with a view from our balcony of the lake. It was much more reasonable than comparable hotels in the area.

No lobby area as such and breakfast not included but neither of these were a problem. Basic breakfast in the adjoining cafe was €5.

The hotel is just over 5 mins walk from the train station. This links to Milan (70 mins) in one direction and Verona (17 mins) and Venice (90 mins) in the other. The location is great on the side of a man made inlet from the lake makes for a very picturesque location. The lake itself is one mins walk away where you can grab a water bus anywhere on the lake. Gardaland is 7mins by taxi costing about €8. You can buy evening tickets which start at 6pm till 11. Rollercoasters in the dark :) or there is a free bus from the train station.

-Not all the rooms have balconys over looking the lake/ inlet which i feel is misleading from the description. -Ants in the room and even invaded the fridge- the hotels response- that's Italy! Really annoying having chucked out all our food and some clothes that had ants crawling over them. -The beds were really creaky and noisy/uncomfy. -The bathroom fan made a racket- you could hear when other rooms had theirs on. -There was thick black mould in the bottom of the shower- not just in the corners- between every tile and the bathroom itself was really dated with in your face red and White tiles.

Good central location good price big family room

Staff very friendly, room perfect (we arrived at 11 and could already get the room), hotel well situated (10min walk from train station in the lovely town) and very charming. We will come back here!

For 5 euros, you can have breakfast at the hotel (nice restaurant), but it is very poor (only 1 croissant per person)!!!!

La posizione eccezzionale,la pulizia delle camere,la gentilezza del personale.

Peccato che tutte le camere non godano della bellissima vista sul lago,per cui è meglio prenotare per tempo.In ogni caso anche le camere interne(tre) sono gradevolissime,tranne la vista.

Sono stato molto colpito dell'ospitalità e della gentilezza che ci hanno riservato gli addetti al lavoro sia dell'hotel e sia dei locali adiacenti. Fateci la cortesia di ringraziarli nuovamente.

Alcuni rumori di troppo dalla strada adiacente. Parcheggio gratuito un pò lontano.
