nice clean hotel in a excellent location, breakfast in canal side room was nice, but dont expect big fry up.there was a knocking in the air conditioning system on our last night but the staff happily moved us to another room.Would stay here again the romantic package, the hotel did not mention anything about it when we arrived i asked about breakfast in room and they agreed i could get it but didnt get offered wine or trip to glass factory, i was not really bothered about getting these but think they should still have asked me if i wanted them. |

The man at the desk was particularly friendly and helpful which made our stay much more enjoyable. The hotel was attractive, comfortable and spotless and the breakfast was excellent. Very central location. If I was going again, I'd go for a cheaper hotel. We only slept and ate breakfast there. I thought it's location would be very important but that area of Venice is so small we could have walked further with no problem. We walked a lot coming home that night anyway - very difficult to find and maps of little help. Note landmarks when leaving the hotel! |

Location of Hotel is really comfortable for city tours, it is situated between Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. Inside the Hotel there is elevator. Rooms are clean. Bathrobes and slippers was included. Programm Romantic Venice Package is not organised very good. We had to ask about our bottle of wine in the room. Breakfast was too poor. Heating in room was out of control. |

What a great place! Wonderful helpful staff, spotlessly clean rooms, wonderful breakfast and all in a great location, situated between Rialto and St Mark's Square. We booked the "Romantic Venice" package with trip to Murano, bottle of wine on arrival and breakfast in superior room. Great! |

My stay at this hotel was really pleasant. The hotel staff are very helpful and efficient. The room was big and comfortable with a big bathroom, very clean and carefully prepared to make you feel really good. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Location is very convenient and close to the major points of interest. |

Great hotel - arrived 12.30am and staff most helpful. Room clean, tidy and quite large - we were on 3rd floor of main hotel. Good breakfast buffet with hot and cold food, fruit salad, fresh fruit, cake, etc. and staff most helpful and polite. Right in the centre, shops outside and only a few mins walk from St Marks square so easy to get back to. We went all over Venice from it. Room cleaned and linen changed every day - done well. Helpful desk staff. Would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. |

Location is centrally located between San Marco and Rialto - great spot. The staff were very helpful and efficient. Breakfast was great and the best that we had in Italy. The rooms were large, comfortable and quiet. A little tricky to find but that could be said for just about any hotel in Venice I think - a map is a must! Other reviewers have mentioned about inclusions not being offered at the time of check-in but once asked for everything is given - vouchers would be a good idea. |

We stayed in one of the annexe rooms further down the road to the main hotel, but the room was still spacious with a decent sized bathroom, bathrobes, slippers, and bed turned down of a night with a chocolate on the pillow. Room clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location near the Rialto bridge and a five minute walk to St Marks square. |

In a good location, near San Marco. Great breakfast and very clean rooms. Staff helpful. Double twin beds pushed together to make one bed. Expect the usual European thin walls; could hear television from the next room. A little hard to find, so you need a map. |

i did not like that our room was separate from the main hotel. breakfast was not satisfying as the breadfast room is so small and there were not enough tables for guests. i think we should be able to eat breakfast at the main building if we choose. the bathroom could use an facelift. |

Having booked on the Internet one is never quite sure about what to expect, Hotel Bella Venezia was a very welcome surprise. There was a problem with the booking in the Annex...I had added a second booking at a later date and it wasn't available when we arrived; I was then placed in the main Hotel in a very nice room. The Breakfast in a Bag was not that great when we left at 7am; maybe a fresh muffin or two instead of the packaged croissant and the dried bread.....minor issue. |

Comfortable and clean. well laid out, the breakfast ladies gave very good service. I would have preferred to have stayed in the main hotel. If I had been alone the walk the down the back alley is scarey. |

It was really good value for money - just a normal hotel room price for a four star hotel in Venice, at a few steps from S. Marco. The staff was very friendly. Also a good continental breakfast - which is not a given in Italian hotels. All very neatly prepared, even if in a small space. Note: the rooms in the dependance are really tiny. all is in good order, but there is not a lot of room for big people. Pay attention whether your room is in the dependance or in the main hotel. The dependance has very small rooms. Still, all is in there, and it was really good value for money. |

this is a very nice hotel in the midst of the touristy district of san marco in venice. its close to many landmarks, but expect crowds in this area. The hotel was clean, staff was nice, morning breakfast was above average and overlooked a small canal so you wpold watch yhe gondolas going by while eating. They gave us a room upgrade too. Only that it's location, although convenient, was in a very crowded tourist area. |

Prime location in the heart of the city. The room was charming and characterful and breakfast selection was good. The air conditioning in the room didn't work effectively and not resolved when reported. Not a major problem to us but could have been if the weather was hot. |
