this is a very nice hotel in the midst of the touristy district of san marco in venice. its close to many landmarks, but expect crowds in this area. The hotel was clean, staff was nice, morning breakfast was above average and overlooked a small canal so you wpold watch yhe gondolas going by while eating. They gave us a room upgrade too. Only that it's location, although convenient, was in a very crowded tourist area. |

The breakfast was very good and the location was good. This was not a four star hotel, the room was very poor indeed very small, bathroom was also poor with only a dirty shower. The room was incredibly noisey. |

Prime location in the heart of the city. The room was charming and characterful and breakfast selection was good. The air conditioning in the room didn't work effectively and not resolved when reported. Not a major problem to us but could have been if the weather was hot. |

Perfect location. The door was a little narrow making it hard to walk in with a baby stroller. |

The Venezia Romantic package was very nice with upgrade, bottle of spumante, trip to Murano, tickets for the casino. Although we got everything we asked for, it was like begging to get it. It would be nicer to have vouchers or even everything in the room when arriving, without asking. The breakfast juices were not good and not at the level expected for such a hotel. |

I was in the annexe of the hotel, and even if it was ok, it had nothing to do with what they show in the website. |

Moldy room (fireplace). Was accused of using the minu bar and stealing bathrobes by the hotel staff. Had to have our bags checked by staff on the way out in front of other guests. They found nothing and offered us a free robe (which I did not except). So, NO... we did not like Hotel Bella Venezia. Staff is extremely rude. They made no effort in helping us at all. Quick responses, trying to "brush us off". Did not like their free breakfast.Staff never offered to help us set up the trip to Murano and Spumante bottle which were included with our package. I think they don't mention these things so they think you will forget; therefore not use/book them...Very sad. |

Toured the sites of Venice, the hotel was ideally positioned between St Marks sqare and the Riallta bridge, very convenient for a trip on a Gondola and the local shops bars and restaurants |

Cleaniness of the premises and our room. Comfort of the bed. Location of hotel in the city of Venice. I am not happy at all with the practice of writing down on check-in form my credit card number and expiry date. I raised my concern on this matter with Hugo at the reception desk. This is a bad practice as there is limited control on exactly who may have access to this information plus the big concern is that such info may not be shredded when disposed off and the information end up very easily in the wrong hands some time in the future. In a nutshell, this should not be occuring in the first place. I travel a lot around the world on business trips and never once have I come across an instance of this. I recommend that you cease this practice. |

The hotel was in a really good location with a very good breakfast and the room was very spacious and nice.Very good choice for Venice. The canal in front of the hotel is small, so it is not worth paying to have a view in the canal. However, the rooms with a view to the canal are better. |

Located halfway between the Grand Canale and San Marco's Square, it allowed easy access to all the sights. My room was cozy and quaint with high, beamed ceilings and decorated with an old European charm. The bathroom was big and clean. The ambience was magical. Breakfast was your standard European fare, was tasty and was included. The breakfast staff were very kind and friendly. My only issue would be that I didn't actually stay in the Hotel Bella Venezia. Upon arrival I was informed that I would be two blocks down at another hotel called La Scala. The bellman helped me with my luggage, the room turned out fine, and I enjoyed my stay, but at first, it kind of felt like a bait-and-switch. There was no front desk or staff at the La Scala so if I needed anything, I had to go back to the Bella Venezia. |

Hotel Bella Venezia is situated between the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square so it is ideal for sight seeing. We stayed in an annex and the breakfast room there was small. |

Very nice room, higher end than most. Staff was very helpful. No. Did not eat there other than breakfast which was a so-so buffet. Since it was included in the room, that was ok with me. |
