I would advise asking reception to book your dinners upon arrival as the local restaurants aren’t open every night and get fully booked. We ended up eating at the same place 2 nights running which was a shame as we were only there 2 nights.

The view from the apartment was stunning, the road is very busy and there is no footpath. There were not many restaurants in walking distance. We found a lovely old wine bar that also served food , however the food is microwave ready meal. It didn’t spoil our stay

Excellent lake-side position not far from Lenno, which has a couple of well-stocked supermarkets and several nice restaurants. All the most interesting middle-lake villages and visitor attractions are within easy reach. Sala Comacina itself is quite small, quiet and quaint, and Comacina Island is only a short boat ride away.

The hotel is off the beaten track and was very tranquil and relaxing. Our room was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were amazing. We ate dinner one night at the hotel and it was very good. You can go to many of the FAI sites, and Villa Balbianello was our favorite. It is where they filmed scenes from the James Bond Film Casino Royal. The gardens are spectacular and the last villa tour I believe is at 4 or 4:30. The ferry is right at the hotel, and you can buy the tickets on the boat. Pay close attention to the schedule, and ask the hotel for a copy and ask them to tell you how to read it. Also be aware that the times for the boats returning from Bellagio to Sala C, and other sites is limited. The ferries also run like clockwork so be at least 5 minutes early. We truly enjoyed our stay at Taverna Bleu on Lake Como and can't wait to return. The only issue we had was there was one group of very loud guests, which of course was not the fault of the hotel.JohnIndonesia - 10Scored 10

Our bed was the most comfortable I think we have ever had in any hotel. Damiano and Eduardo in the bar are amazing cocktail “artists”. Truly. The restaurant is elegant and stylish with just the most wonderful food and the menu in the bar is more casual but equally satisfying. We really loved this hotel. We got to meet Mitch the owner and his beautiful wife, it was the best part of our Honeymoon stay at MUSA Lago Di Como. It is conveniently located so we can do ferry hopping to all the towns of Lake Bellagio. Sala Comacina the town is not big, but we love the local feel. We love going to the only butcher in town. We love walking on the greenway. Lisa is very courteous and helpful.
