Hotel du Lac is in the heart of Bellagio, overlooking the main square, across from the dock. Here you can enjoy panoramic views and excellent food.

The Hotel Nuovo Miralago overlooks Lake Como in the heart of Bellagio, a 10-minute walk from the dock for boat trips across the lake. It features both rooms and apartments.
Score from 421 reviews Excellent
View over the lake Comfortable room Helpful staff
We had bad weather but Graziano the receptionist helped us a lot to make the best choices to visit. Best location in lake Como. Good public transport. Very kind people all over the area.
Very expensive area. With many restaurants charge €2.50 and €3.50 just for the cover charge. We had to pay the cover charge also for our 2 year old son. So that for 2 of us with our son €10.50 cover charge. We did not pay any fees at the hotel for our son. These is no ham, cheese neither salad for breakfast. Only paste. Very simple. We spent about €200 in boat transport over 5 half days. (Child was free.)
Cleanliness, size, location, view. Front desk clerk when we checked-in was very polite, helpful and attentive.
WiFi was out for entire first evening through the next afternoon. The front desk staff on duty acted a bit like we didn't know how to use the internet or our devices.... right up until they tried it themselves and discovered we were telling the truth. The younger (Indian?) clerk from the night before had a much better attitude.
Friendly staff, amazing views, brilliant location, comfy bed and super clean
Close to everything, great view from top floor, breakfast was basic ..but good, rooms have been renovated..and had these 2 huge auto windows, which let in much light..only trouble is it was hard to get a slight breeze unless they were right down (and then was too open for mossies etc) as upposed to conventional balcony style opening shutters, which one can leave slightly open curtain across to inhibit any mossies coming in..this was a minor complaint only.
Did not have a bar frig to keep ones drinks etc cold...although the kitchen did provide ice buckets. The climb up from the main street with luggage up the cobblestone lane is horrible and would not recommend people in their 70's plus to stay here. Perhaps the hotel could have a buzzer at the bottom so as staff could assist on arrival at least.
Staff were wonderful could not do enough. Breakfast was ample
The beauty and location.
Not enough time in this great place.
Excellant value, great location and friendly, helpful staff
The Hotel Bellagio is in an excellent location, and it is lovely. Also, the staff were lovely too; both warm and welcoming.
The stairs to the hotel were historic and beautiful, but.. they were very difficult to manuver with suitcases.
We were centrally located, lots of things to do within walking distance.
The stairs to the hotel, but the plus of the location really made that a minimal objection.
The view, room, staff
That you cannot control the heat/ air con - you have to ask the front desk
Centrally located Bellagio
The room was very small No warning was given about the steps leading up to reception. No kettle in the room, surprising given the number of guests from other countries.
a beautiful hotel, centrally located. Nicely furnished. Room quite spacious. very friendly and helpful staff
we were very disappointed not to be able to get a room with lake view, even having booked 7 months in advance. Shower head was patched up with tape in (an unsuccessful) attempt to hold it in place. Really the room should not have been rented out until that was properly repaired or replaced
Great location. Staff were very helpful. Good breakfast.
The rooms, decor, staff and position were all excellent.
Poor Wifi reception and no one to help bring up the luggage on arrival - travel light!
The hotel staff was great. We were surprised with lovely bottle of wine in our room to celebrate my birthday. Ask for a room with a balcony and view of the lake. Location is excellent for exploring Bellagio. Good air-conditioning and great shower. Very clean, nice breakfast included.
The entry to the hotel is up a lot of very old stone stairs. Upon arrival Danny, a staff person, carried our bags up to the lobby (elevator then available). But our departure at 6AM meant we had to muscle them down to street level. Not easy for most seniors.
We booked a double room with rooftops/hills view and during check-in, the male receptionist said we booked too late and there were no more rooms left. He tried to kick us into the basement Room #100 with large windows doors directly connected to the terrace of another building and anyone can easily climb into the room. When we told the receptionist Room #100 was not the room we booked as described in the website, he said there was a “sudden cancellation” and now there is another room with lake view available with an additional 25 euros per night. When we confronted Jane, the manager of the hotel and presented to her in paper the pictures and the text of the reservation which clearly stated, ‘double room with views of the hills or rooftops,’ she asked us not to focus on the pictures and that booking.com only faxed her information of a double room reservation. During check-in, when we asked the male receptionist a question about check-in, he said to me, “no more requests!!” He continued to blame us for ‘booking too late’ even when we have successfully booked double room with hilltop view. Even though the manager tried to pacify us by finally offering what we booked on the 2nd and 3rd day, we were just fed up with the condescending attitude of the male receptionist and the absence of a genuine apology. The décor and the view of the hotel could not make up for the condescending attitude of the staff and we were left with a very bad taste in the mouth.
Great room that is nice and comfortable! Excellent staff that gave great recommendations for restaurants and directions to get to places!
Great location, surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants, close to the attractions, and opposite the port.
Room lacking a fridge & tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast does not include hot food e.g. Eggs, bacon, sausages.
Being away! And the wonderful Italian people
Friendly staff. The rooms are spacious with a lovely, clean large bathroom. Great shower. Balcony overlooking the lake. You can really appreciate the sunrise & sunset. Incredible. Great location to bars, shops & restaurants. Short walking distance to ferry. Cannot fault this hotel. Will happily return.
Having to leave!
