Located in the historic center, just a short walk from the Santa Maria Novella Train Station, Hotel Fiorentino offers simple, clean rooms and a friendly, helpful staff.

If you are looking for a mix of modern comforts and traditional architecture, and of course great rates, Hotel Boccaccio has it all, and is right next to the station.

A 5-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station, the Novella House is in central Florence.
Score from 429 reviews Very good
Location and casual
Location great. Modern clean room.
Bathroom very small
The hotel is in an excellent location, two minutes walk from the train and bus stations and five minutes walk from The Dome. All the other amazing places to visit in Florence are within walking distance of The Bellavista. The hotel is located on the fifth floor of an old building and has spectacular views out over Florence's red rooftops from one side and out over The Dome and the whole of Florence from the other side. Best rooms in the house are No. 12 and 14. All other rooms are still lovely and comfortable. Spotlessly clean, nice breakfast and excellent and very friendly staff. Thanks to Andrea for all his help on our recent visit. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel was on the 5th floor of the building, clean room "old style", friendly staff, family hotel, close to train station and to buses, around 5-10min to cathedral. Breakfast in the kitchen or u can take in your room.
Noisy street. Mosquitos. No balcony.
The view from the balcony
Tiny rooms, small bathrooms, expensive parking
I liked the fact that it was close to the train station but, of course, I didn't know that. The cab driver was new at his job & he asked another cab driver where the BellaVista hotel was. He found out it was about a block & a half away. I was glad to take the cab because the hotel was one of many hotels in this building, and I think if I just walked in that direction, I might not have realized that it was on one of the upper floors. I also liked the fact there was a terrace from where I could take pictures of the city. The breakfasts were good, and there was a good selection of breakfast foods. Also, I liked the location because it wasn't too far from the Uffizi & the Academia (I'm not sure of the spelling) museums. It was a good place to stay for a moderately priced hotel, and I really enjoyed talking to the other guests during breakfast. Some were Americans, and some were from South America. Sometimes when you stay at moderately priced hotels, people are more apt to visit. As a solo traveler, I always enjoyed meeting new people.
I kinda wish my room was not so close to the reception desk.
Close to the train station and many of the historical sites. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast.
Room was a little small and linens could have been updated.
Very helpful staff especially with parking, and as we arrived early they even let us choose between rooms. A great location for walking straight into the start of the markets and near to the duomo. Very satisfied.
Very central and had a lift and the staff were very helpful.
the view was amazing from our room and the room was really nice.
tiny bathroom bad Wifi
Location, decent bathroom
The bed as well as the breakfast
The first reception was very friendly, passionate, he showed us all the scenery on the map and pointed out the best route to walk there. He showed us the view of the balcony, very beautiful.
The last night there we found out someone went through the stuff we've bought. Nothing was missing though. It definitely wasn't cleaning service because the sheets and towels were still messy.
Super location. 5 minute walk from train station. Large grocery store and an excellent and affordable Chinese restaurant across the street. Turn right out of the front door and there is a laundry facility 5 minutes down on the left. Easy walk anywhere to all the sights. More importantly, no street noise can be heard in the room even though in super central location. Hotel very accommodating and allowed us early check-in. They also gave excellent recommendation on a day trip tour and we had a well worth day (55 Euros per person) in a comfortable coach that took us out to San Gimignano, Siena & Chianti in the heart of beautiful Tuscany. Lunch and wine tasting are also included in the package.
There are many television channels but not one is in English. Would be nice to have at least one English channel such as cnn.
Roof top had a awesome view, and the location was perfect. Staff was helpful, and lead us to one of our best meals on our trip.
It was in a great location handy for the train station. The staff were very friendly and informative.
The hotel was a little expensive I think this was more to do with Florence than the hotel though, pleasant enough stay.
room was cramped. beds uncomfortable. sheets like sandpaper. towels not changed daily. I had a comforter the first night and it was gone on day 2, when I asked for another, there were apparently none available and I was given a top sheet instead. it was the only place during my trip that I would not give my business to again.
Great location to tour and see the sights
The staff were so nice and helpful! So friendly. Great place and we would gladly stay there again.
Location of the hotel is great! 3 mins to Firenze Main train station. Hotel located on 5th storey, with a lift for 4 people or 2 with luggage is cool, no need to manage any stairs. Easy to move around as going out on short trips from hotel and also meeting point for day tours which meets at the train station. Best of all, it is near a nice chinese restaurant and Milan Central Market, both just around 2 corners.
Room without a fridge and kettle.
Service is good and the view is awesome...
The bathrooms windows are loose...so can get open even if its windy!
Great location by the train station and city center. Enjoyed the rooftop view of the city.
Not smoke free room.
A very good hotel. The price is fairly expensive, beause of Milano?
Location, location, location! Also, we got a room with a killer view.
I really hate complainting, but here is what we didn't like. Wifi only worked if you were next to the door. (Not too unusually for Europe). Bed was hard. - -Bugs. The view was beautiful, so we had the door open (no screens), so I don't know if the bugs came from outside...but there were little bugs on furniture and bed.
