Hotel Bellavista    

Clean and comfortable, complimentary prosecco and strawberries on arrival, excellent buffet breakfast, good location and 30 mins to Rome by train. Staff very friendly and helpful especially the shuttle driver who was very informative and pointed out areas of Interest on the journey. Would highly recommend this hotel

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I wish we had more time to spend there. I felt I got a great value for my money.

For 3 people I felt the room was a tiny bit small but I liked the price.

The shuttle driver, shuttle service to airport, shuttle service from Rome train terminal. Staff very friendly. Shuttle driver was very nice to point out areas of interest.

Everything was wonderful, always delivering more than I expected from the room to the breakfast and many little special touches like a little bottle of champ and strawberries in the room when we arrived a short walk to the lido train 1.5 euro to downtown Rome Great

The Hotel Staff were young, professional and friendly. The Reception had a Bar, coffee and tea available with a reception room and free Computor Internet service at the reception at one's ease in English speaking. The rooms are larger than expected with very large balcony with frontrow view of the Meditterean Ocean and Boardwalk. The Hotel furnish bicycles for guests to ride down the streets and the area is very safe. The rooftop Jaccuzi, Sauna, etc are complimentary with beautiful beachfront view. The Breakfast Room is elegant with a large selection of breakfast items. It was a grand comfortable experience away from home. The Shuttle to the Airport is free at 7am and 7pm otherwise there is a small charge to the Airport 20 minutes drive. The friendly Driver and most of the Bellavista Staff speak clear English.. At the time we stayed at Hotel Bellavista, were other American guests who were happy with their stay booking with Booking.com. I will always trust Booking.com. One feels safe and secure.

Hotel Bellavista is a Seaside Hotel and not a City Hotel. The Metro is 5 minutes walk from the Hotel and total 30 minutes to the Vatican and other attractions. Using the train system in Rome, one has to be prepared to walk up and down about 10 flights of cold hard stairs. If going to or coming from Rome City get on the Lido Metro and get off at the exit after Lido Central where Hotel is across the street.

Great little boutique hotel.

The gentleman who gave us the shuttle ride to the airport in the morning was fantastic. He was friendly, a good driver, and very knowledgable about Ostia. We received a history lesson on our way to the airport. He went out of his way to be helpful. Please thank him personally for us. It was the morning of November 15th.

Although we had a view of the ocean, the traffic noise and a light from a building across the street were a bit annoying. We kept our windows open because it was a warm evening. Once I got to sleep I was fine.

The location of the hotel was perfect at the beach side.

The location in proximity to Rome (30 minutes on the metro and train st 10 min walk) and just opposite the beach! loved our large terrace watching the sunsets,. Could get hot in summer though. The spa on the roof was great too.Recommend the restaurant across the roof.

No tea/coffee making. No lift for one side of the building

Well firstly the staff on the front desk were great. Very friendly and helpful. Secondly The location was terrific right opposite the beach and outside appearance of the hotel very appealing. I only had a single room facing the beach but it was good enough for me. For couples it looks like there are many fine rooms with balconies etc. Breakfast was good enough espeicially since you able to make toast which for me was is rare in Italy. I stayed in Rome on the way in and decided to get out of Rome on the way out. Good decision,really enjoyed the change of pace and the opportunity to sea the Roman seaside which was surprising good

Nothing really, I will stay there again

Thee were five of us, and no-one liked the hotel. Our room was not very clean; the shower in our friends' room did not work, and they were given access to another room in the basement to shower in. It was covered with mold and the ceiling was black with same. It was simply not a hotel I would ever recommend.

Not a bad place to stay to position for an FCO airport arrival/departure if you have a vehicle. The Lido has interesting architecture and the Ostia Antica is definitely worth a visit. But just for about one day. At 80 Euros with a sea view and balcony, a good deal. Very clean, and a true non-smoking room.

The breakfast.The shuttle driver the next day to go back to the airport was excellent with information about the area.

The service was poor,We did not get picked up from Airport after booking shuttle , there was no WiFI in the room or downstairs , very small rooms pictures on internet was nothing like the room .

Location across from the beach, rooftop terrace, local reasonably priced restaurants, airport shuttle, closeness to Rome Airport, access by local train to Rome and Ostia Antica.

Non-functioning WIFI and computer, very small rooms, amateur looking repairs and maintenance of the building.

The room was large and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful with all our requests.

Close to the beach. Beautiful sunsets. Relatively close to airports(half hour drive by van); van service is efficient and drive courteous. Good seafood restaurant across the street.

"Courtesy" champaign was charged on bill. Small shower. Bar soap is preferable to squeeze bottle container to us.

The location near to Rail Services - 5 minute walk to rail which connects directly to Rome and Ostia Attica. I had asked for a room facing the sea. Well, the room that I was given had a balcony facing the open sea which redered perfect sunset views. Wow double wow.
