Location...its very near to Venice main raily station. Actually walking distance, no bridge crossing with heavy luaggages. Shopping , Dining, Water taxi stop, Main bus stop everything is near to hotel ...so very conveinent . I recommend especially to families with Children . The Reception staff...!!!! Oooopppsss,,,very bad ! we stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights and the experince with reception was terrible...the recption staff was actually best example of " anti hospitality " attitude...no help , rather sometimes no answers...you will feel they are not listening to you only.... Or you may also feel, are you staying here for free so you get such treatment ??? .you will remain standed rather straned at reception for a while ..for some info , some help and person behind the desk wont answer you anything...

Location was ideal.......1/2 A block from Venezia S.L. Station. We booked this at the last minute, per the pictures the hotel looked nice. The lobby was nice although very narrow. The hotel room was horrible, it gave me the creeps. The rooms were tiny, there was no place to put your suitcase, hardly any room to walk around the beds. The room was wall-papered with deep redish wallpaper, the ceiling was 80% painted deep red, the carpets were a grimmy red, the curtains were red heavy, and the comforter was red as well.- It just looked like a brothel to me. Our window was a joke, it opened to the interior of the hotel. I had read that people got bitten in some of the reviews, so I started searching the room for insects and founds about 7 or eight mosquitos in the room as soon as we walked in. The bathroom was so tiny that you had to sit side way to use toilet, the shower was so small, that I had scrub my body outside and squeeze through the doors to rinse. I would never stay there again. Ohhhhhh and make sure you take a copy of your passport as they need it to report your stay to the police department - the front desk clerk was really upset when I refused to leave my passport, so my husband went to another hotel to get a copy and that satisfied him.

I really don't recommend this place! The rooms are bad and the employees are worse! Usually, in a normal hotel, you keep the card of your room, however in this place be prepared to leave the card in the reception each time you leave the hotel and don't ask to keep it as we did, because the only thing you will have is an unpleasant treatment of the receptionist.

The location is good. The closet in the room is smelly. They also use a lot of perfume in the room which is unbearable to me! I almost cannot breathe in the room!

The position is very convenient to stay in Venice. The room was too small and the breakfast was very basic and the food was less than average.

Location is good. The reception old man is very rude and ask to keep our visa without reason. The hotel is old and the room is quite small.

The hotel has a good location, close to train station, restaurants, street market. The room was elegant and clean. The receptionist unfriendly and uncooperative. The check-in time is 14;00 and wouldn't give you the room 5 minutes earlier.

Great location, its so close to the main train station, like 1 or 2 mins walk. Great breakfast! Just feel the 2 reception persons for my living days are unfriendly and kind of cold. I dont know its because am asian or what. Especially the girl, when I asked her about the islands, she said I should take the tour organised by them. When I insisted to ask the way to go there, she said something, which is totally unuseful and non-sense. And its expensive.

What I want to recommend abt the hotel is the location. It is really near the S.Lucia.railway station .you just go out the station and turn left into the street u will see it in 2 Minutes. It is really good for the people who came here for the first time in Venezia and dont want to get lost. The receptionist was not really nice to us.and the air conditioners, one of our 2 room worked too much and it was really cold ,we couldnt make the temperature higher, and the another one was too hot.....and the Internet was really expensive

This hotel is perfectly located right next to the Venice train station and the entry to the city. It is about a 5 minute walk from where the buses and taxis drop off. Easy to find as well. Room was quaint and orderly. Excellent stay for the price. Hotel staff was not the friendliest, but not the worst. Room was a little musty.

Good location, 2 minute walk from the train station or a 5 minute walk from the Rome Plaza bus terminal. Fancy looking lobby. Toilet that flips up into the wall (!!!!!) Front desk staff were not very helpful - one word answers, not friendly. Wi-fi was "not working" and I question the fact that they even offer it. Only a short skinny person would be able to comfortably use the tiny shower. Sound-proofing between rooms is not good - we could hear our neighbors using their tv, coughing, and talking.

Good location...easy walk from the train station, and access to the water bus. Generally very quiet, except for one night when a group of teenagers stayed. They were very noisy until well past 12 a.m. Beautifully appointed room for breakfast, though I'd forgotten that breakfast was included, and it wasn't mentioned by the clerk at check-in, and I didn't realize it until the next day. Clerk not very helpful at check-in (maybe limited English). He just said that my room was on the second floor. After taking the elevator there I didn't see my room number on the wall and couldn't figure out where to go. I had to go down some stairs and walk into a hallway and then saw the number on the wall there. Then I had to go up a very narrow, steep flight of stairs to the room. The best way to describe it was "funky": it was like reclaimed attic space with large beams and a pitched roof...nothing even close to the picture on the website. I had to be careful to avoid hitting my head (and I'm 5' tall)! The only window was a "skylight" opening on the roof. Thankfully the room was air-conditioned, although sometimes too much so: I could turn it off, but the control wouldn't let me adjust the temperature. The room had a small, old TV that didn't work, which didn't really matter, since I wouldn't understand it anyway (Italian), and I wasn't there to watch TV. After getting over the initial shock (not what I expected), I was pretty comfortable there.

It was a great location being close to the bus and train stations. Also, the decor of the lobby and rooms was very nice. The front desk, with the exception of one very nice man, was rude and unwilling to help. Also, for the price, I was expecting nicer accommodations.

Its a nice genuine Venetian style hotel, with lovely decor, nice and clean, and the breakfast was good also. The older gent on reception basically didnt want to talk to us, and told us nothing about services, breakfast etc. We also asked for a double bed, for which we were given two singles pushed together, not very comfy at all.

Perfect location! We stayed in a very romantic and cosy room, furnished in green colours and very warm (it was end of january). Late check-in after 14:30. If you need to leave your luggage it stays in a dark corner unatended by any staff and everyone have access to it.

It was really easy to find from the train station and was in a good location. The staff were nice enough and the breakfast was good, the furniture and decor is fantastic. Don't ask for a taxi to the airport. It will set you back nearly €100 and there is a bus stop only about 10mins walk for €5.

Convenient for station and bus to mainland. Ground level room smelled a bit damp. Much too warm (like other Italian hotels in winter). Upstairs seemed much more pleasant (from the corridors anyway).
