all are good, nice victorian style, good place,
need more renovation in room
nice hotel close to the parking Troncheto, the room was a large terrace, breakfast was wonderful, the staff also.
narrow room, the hotel is far from Piazza San Marco
Easy access to train station.
Mildew in the shower and broken tiles. Had to carry suitcases up 2 flights of narrow stairs and had to ask staff to assist in carrying down.
Classy and neat, plus excellent morning breakfast.
no free internet at rooms small rooms short bed
very central location, beautiful ambience, breakfast lady excellent service with a heart and a smile
Wifi not free and when purchased available ONLY in reception area
Rooms very well done out, clean, modern necessities with old-school charm, fish tank sink in public bathroom.
Rooms a little bit small, but still very charming. Bathroom small, but big enough.
The location is good, very close to the railway station. The hotel is old fashioned, and our room is quite small. But since the entire Venice city is very old and so are its architectures, I still think it is a pretty nice hotel with reasonable price.
Very central and easy to get to with luggage from either the airport, bus, train or boat. I also liked the look of the place - it was old Venetian in style, romantic, cool and comfortable. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Email responses were very prompt and helpful. The Belle Epoque is a great place to stay and I chose it because I loved it the first time I stayed there in 2010 as part of an Insight Vacations tour.
The staff could have been a little friendlier face-to-face.
The decoration of the room and the hotel were great. Even though the room seemed from another epoch the bathroom was fully renovated. The room was also clean and had very nice smell. The location is great because it is close to the train station. The breakfast had a very good variety of foods and the staff was friendly. I liked it a lot.
The hotel does not have free wi fi.
Everything... Its absolutely horrible.. I would have rather spent my night at the train station than at this hotel..
Location was the only thing which was good. Close to railway station and fine for visiting the city.
Extremely small room, and bathroom even smaller. Terrible way to reach our room on the 4th floor. The air-condition was not working properly. No Wi-Fi in the room (not even to pay).
The location is good, very close to the railway station, piazalla roma and a main boat bus station, taking you around time and to the other islands. Very busy in summer of course, located on the main artery of tourists walking into the historic city centre.
Although superficial cleaning is being done, the whole building simply stinks of dust mite and what have you. In order to make the room "breathable", I had to generously spray deodorant. The first time in my life that I hurried OUT OF a hotel. Dirt is visible on windows and doors, the elevator has its carpets taped with the obvious dirt collecting everywhere. We paid 420 EUR for two rooms for one night and that is WAY overpriced for this level of cleanliness and hygiene. And this is coming from a frequent traveler with a very flexible standard.
The location was good. Breakfast was good
The staff were rude. We asked for an early check-in and got our room an hour after normal checkin time. The room had some decor things that needed to be fixed up No free internet. The elevator smelt really bad and did not feel safe due to the particular smell it was.
The hotel was more beautiful than the pictures online. We were very pleasantly surprised at how great the location was and how pretty the interior was. The breakfast was also really good. The glass light fixtures were beautiful.
Accessible location, friendly staff, nice breakfast included, in all, perfect for tourists who don't plan to spend much time at the hotel anyway.
My friend almost fell off a wobbly chair in our room and kept bumping her head on the very low ceiling beams. The baggage "concierge" was a dark space under the stairs, with a "We are not responsible for lost or stolen baggage" disclaimer...
Close to railway station. Good breakfast.
No blankets in the room, needed to get them by ourselves. Need to pay for Wi Fi.
By station so very convenient
Air con did not work
1. Good location next to S. Lucia train station. 2. Small but clean room. 3. Good AC. 4. Good breakfast.
1. WiFi isn't available for free, and even if you pay, it works only in public areas
The hotel is very close to seabus, train station, gondollas and bus station for the AirPort..
Wifi wasn't free...
location is close to station, in a busy street. Breakfast was great, staffs were very friendly.
limited electricity supply, cannot even turn on water boiler, hair straightener, heater, and worse, our own hairdryer. Hotel hairdryer is useless. My hair was dried by the heat of the room at night. It was 35 degrees at night and aircon was as useless as the hairdryer!
The price is quite reasonable for the hotels near the train station. Gd location.
Poor staff service and attitude. Without passion. Poor breakfast. The toilet is really small.
Nice and tidy rooms, and delicious breakfast! :) yummy
Well.. I didn't like that wifi isn't available for free, and even if you pay for wifi, it works in only public areas.
near the rail station, convenient to anywhere. Breakfast was very good. The hotel seems a bit old but still beautiful in decoration.
wifi charged toooo much! 3 euro for only one hour/one device and the wireless is only in the lobby...
