Located on the shore of Lake Como, next to the botanic grounds of Villa Carlotta, Grand Hotel Cadenabbia offers panoramic views from its rooftop terrace with swimming pool and bar. The stunning views of Lake Como and the convenience of close proximity to ferries, bus transport etc. Dining room too packed and busy at breakfast, like a rugby scrum, not enough teapots. Room tiny and dingy, scratches on wall, no shower curtain. Not enough parking.

Second time in this hotel which is very nice with agreat view on the lake and quite posh. The employees are not very friendly and the room was not very clean for an hotel of this supposed standing.

Car parking good. Staff helpful but hotel dominated by package holidaymakers on coach trips. Food mass produced generally tasteless and of poor quality suited to 2/3 Star Hotel .Definitely below par for a 4 star Hotel. Next to busy main road with constant traffic noise.

The view was amazing even though it was late October. It was right on the side of the lake & just a 5 minute walk to were the ferries leave for other towns on the lake. Catering was more for groups then families, set evening menus, bout plenty of places outside to eat. No tea & coffee etc in room & no shower cubicles just bath with shower attachment.

the location was stunning. The grandeur of the hotel in it's design was impressive. The size of the rooms and the high ceilings was another plus point. If you had any problems the staff responded to them immediately which was very helpful. Room could have done with a little bit more storage space, ie a chest of drawers. A mirror over the desk in the smallest bedroom would have been a useful addition.

Plenty of parking. We booked the hotel because it had late availability. Dinner is expensive so try and get a half board deal or eat out. There are some roadside cafes/restaurants within walking distance but we preferred to drive to Menaggio to eat. The breakfast was ok but if you eat later there is less choice. We have stayed at both hotels in the Albergo group (Grand Hotel Cadenabbia & Grand Hotel Menaggio) and preferred the Menaggio.

The location. It's great to wake up to Lake Como and with the Alpes in the background. The beds can be a bit more comfortable and they charge 5 EU/hr for internet access!!

This hotel was the pearl of our trip. I was not aware of the beauty this hotel offered when I booked. The pictures offered on their site do not do them justice. The views are amazing from the lakeview rooms(Bellagio). The room size was excellent as were the balconies. Breakfast buffet was the best on our trip.The pool and area are private and inviting. To think I almost booked at the Hotel Oliveri for the same price would have been a great regret. No complaints at this 4 star. Really, take advantage of the economy and live a little.

Sehr schönes altes Grand Hotel mit Flair vergangener Tage. Reiferes Publikum vor allem aus Großbritannien. Wunderschöne Dachterrasse und Poolanlage in schön angelegter Gartenlandschaft. Mäßige Auswahl am großen Frühstücksbuffet. Buffet ist für englisches Frühstück ausgelegt. Nur eine Sorte Käseaufschnitt, eine Salami und ein Kochschinken im Angebot (täglich das gleiche).

Die Lage am See ist schön, wenngleich zwischen Hotel und See eine stark befahrene Straße liegt. Die Parkplatzsituation ist besonders am Wochenende problematisch, Die Zufahrt zum hoteleigenen Parkplatz über eine Naturstraße gleicht stellenweise einer Mondlanschaft.

Heel mooi hotel, uitstekend ontbijtbuffet, ligging vlak bij ferry naar Bellagio (10 min), handdoeken beschikbaar voor het zwembad Stijle afdaling naar het zwembad kan een probleem zijn voor mensen die slecht te been zijn, er kunnen geen drankjes gekocht worden aan het zwembad, hiervoor moet met terug naar boven klimmen

La situation de l hotel à 2oo m à pieds de la villa carlotta, la piscine et les espaces detente sur la terrasse surplombant le lac et dans le hall d entrée. Le petit dejeuner buffet ne comprend pas de produits de qualité et restaurant le soir trop cher pour ce que l on mange. Resto tres corrects et plus authentiques à deux pas.

het hotel en de service zijn goed wij hadden een junior suit geweldige kamer super schoon goede service alleen zouden wij er niet meer naar toe gaan omdat 90 % van de gasten 65 plussers zijn maar goed hotel alleen zoeken wij iets anders maar zeker aan te bevelen bij andere doel group zwembad en terassen out of date

Großräumige Anlage/Terasse/Garten; zentrale Lage Nord/Süd Terasse Holzböden schlecht, Gefahr da einige Planken sich abheben !!Parkplatzzufahrt (schlechter Weg )und Plätze hinter dem Haus besser pflegen ! Frühstück: Personal könnte mit dem Eindecken der Tische für Mittags/AbendGäste warten; es stört die Ruhe wenn man noch sitzt und rundherum wird eingedeckt. Als Selbstzahler darf man das erwarten.

Die Lage direkt am Comoer See ist einmalig. Die Dachterasse ist sehr großzügig gestaltet und bietet einen sehr guten Ausblick über den See. Das Frühstück war für uns mangelhaft, nur Tostbrot und oft fehlten Kännchen... - Kantinencharakter.

Très bon hôtel avec piscine, terrasses, restaurant avec vue magnifique. Lieu magique. Chambre avec balcon sur le lac de Côme fabuleux. Très proche de la villa Carlotta et du ferry pour Bellagio. Parking public tjrs disponible. Très bonne adresse pour le prix (110euros environ / 2pers petit déj compris).

La vue de la terrasse, facilité de parking ( mois de novembre), sa localisation. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas a la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles, le bruit de la route certes chambre avec vue sur le lac mais isolation phonique insuffisante. Le rapport qualité /prix est acceptable malgré tout.
