Hotel Belvedere  

La limpieza de la habitación es perfecta. Tienen wifi que funciona muy bien en todas las plantas y en la piscina gratis. Tanto la piscina como la playa privada están muy bien. El desayuno es bastante completo. El personal del hotel es muy servicial y amable. Parking gratuito. Hay una furgoneta que por 3 euros trayecto te lleva a Amalfi. El precio es bastante parecido al autobus que tiene parada en la puerta. Con el autobus puedes ir desde Amafi a Sorrento pasando por Positano, Praiano etc. Está a 4 km de Amalfi. Tiene unas vistas impresionantes. Vistos los hoteles de la zona, repetiría sin dudarlo.

El mobiliario del hotel es bastante antiguo. Lo único que encontré actual fue la televisión de pantalla plana.

Belvedere is a gem. The location on the cliff over the Mediterranean is fantastic, just 10 min. drive from Amalfi, yet away from the tourist crowds. Every room has a balcony with the spectacular view. The restaurant is wonderful, and the service is super. Free parking, free wi-fi, pool. Could not think of a better place to stay while visiting Amalfi coast.

Loved the location. Best view ever. A bit tricky getting there though with the winding roads and the crazy drivers!!! Loved the pool and the access to the ocean to swim.

The pool closed too early. It would have been nice to swim after six seeing as dinner isn't til late. The aircon wasn't very efficient. The breakfast wasn't very enjoyable.

The hotel was in a great location and was very comfortable. The only staff member that treated us with any respect was the bartender.

The staff controlled when the aircoditioning was turned on to the rooms, which is something that should be in the travellers control. The staff were very judgemental and did not treat us with any repsect, with the exception of the bartender. Unless you are over 5o years of age, we would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

From the moment we arrived at this hotel we knew we had chosen the right one. We were warmly greated by antonio who escorted us to our room which was spacious and spotlessly clean the view from our room was spectacular. We found all the staff very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was served outside on most days and the view overlooking amalfi was breathtaking.the hotel has its own shuttle into amalfi or there is a bus stop outside. Anything we wanted to know or have organised the staff on the reception were there to help. We found the food in the evening was varied and the menu changed daily and very well presented. We could not fault this hotel and would certainly recomend it to anyone.

The view was incredible from our room, and it is a very quiet place to relax. The food in the restaurant was very enjoyable.

Although the pool facilities were wonderful, the staff at the pool were not overly helpful or friendly to us. We appeared to be the only Americans at the pool on the days we were there. The staff treated everyone else much better. On our last day, we were told the bar was closed at the pool and were (reluctantly) given towels. This was 45 mins before closing. I then called the hotel manager from my mobile phone and complained, and then the staff at the pool said they made a mistake after the manager contacted them. There was no mistake, he was just being rude.

We had a junior suite with a balcony and an awesome view! The balcony was actually more like a huge patio, shared by 3 rooms. It wasn't reallt an issue as there was a divider wall between rooms that offered privacy. The hotel had a very comfortable, "older hotel" feel to it. We had 1 lunch at the hotel and it was very good. The pool is fabulous. The hotel is in a quiet area just outside of Amalfi, but the bus stops right outside the hotel door several times a day. If you need to be in the middle of a ton of tourist it is easy to get there. My husband said he really didn't need to go anywhere. He could just spend the whole time at the hotel!

The hotel is located at an exquisite location and is a gem. The pool is on a cliff overlooking the ocean and is actually quite big and has lots of cosy comfortable stretchers around it both in the sun and in the shade. We had a room with a wonderful balcony overlooking the ocean and for only a little extra charge we were able to have our breakfast there. The breakfast itself was a treat, with cereal, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad, good italian coffee, juice, eggs etc. And to make it even better: the staff was really helpful and kind with good restaurant tips for alll the places we visited. And there's free parking. If and when I go back this would be my first choice.

The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. We arrived at around 12:30AM having been delayed by an hour, and were asked on arrival if we wanted any food. We then got help with organising trips, cars, personal recommendations of local eateries, great chats with the maitre d' etc. The menu changes daily too, so eating there is always a joy. All in all we'd stay there again without a doubt.

Fantastic hotel. Best quality/price value. The personnel was very responsive to our needs. The hotel's restaurant was very good.

hotel is well located along the Amalfi coast, with good parking facilities and despite its location on the road it is very quiet with no disturbance from the traffic
