Hotel Belvedere    

The location of this hotel is on the main road to Amalfi, bus stop is right outside of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff from reception, restaurant, bar to cleaners. The swimming pool is fantastic, however, is not heated, could be warmer during Summer months. Many restaurants in the vicinity of which we visited 3. If you missed the bus, then the hotel could drop you off to either Positano or Amalfi at a small extra charge. The room we had was excellent with a very large patio and the views are to die for. WiFi available thoughout the hotel, except our room.

Prices for the restaurant and bar are not advertised, you could argue if you stay in this hotel at the prices charged you do not need to ask. We thought eating in the restaurant was nice but expensive. Problems with WiFi in the room, although to be fair owner and staff called out the it engineer to fix, but was still hit and miss by the time we left.

The location is amazing, although you need to step down to acces the beach, it is worth every step you need to clim back. Fantastic view, good parking area and comfortable rooms

Maybe there could be more options for breakfast, but that is just a small detail

what a lovely experience...friends recommended Hotel belvedere and we booked three nights at this wonderful hotel...this was my very first time to the Amalifi Coast...hotel belvedere DID NOT DISAPPOINT...thank you staff for a memorable stay....i would highly recommend your hotel....the staff was "over the top" to please.... thank you "pepe"

staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. perfectly located on the amalfi coast. half way between sorrento and salerno. great restaurants nearby. some will come to the hotel and pick you up.

The staff in the hotel restaurant, bar and on reception were absolutely delightful ... nothing was too much trouble for them, they were always two steps ahead. The views of the Amalfi Coast were stunning.

It would have been really useful to have more information readily available in the rooms regarding places to visit, travel arrangements, room service and so on, although if you asked the information was provided. Although the hotel and its staff were delightful, we were unable to find the other restaurants that were highlighted on the internet. It seems that they are 300 steps down on the beach, and were therefore inaccessible to travellers who were less than fit.

Very friendly staff and very nice and clean place. Terraces overlooking the ocean is breathtaking.

The dining room was decorated like a bad wedding reception. This just made me want to eat elsewhere. Pool staff not very friendly. Barman was like something out of the 60s. slow service. Just painful.Just get me a beer.....NOW.

The relaxed atmosphere at the hotel. The views, the salt water pool and the access to the sea. The wonderful lunches served by the pool as well.

The deck furniture on the balcony was not comfortable and so we did not spend as much time out there as we would have liked. Some modern conveniences such as an Ipod docking station would have been nice so we could've listened to music while in the room.

Small, intimate, and rustic without being uncomfortable. Wonderful pool, easy beach access, and perfect location between Amalfi and Positano. Great breakfast on the terrace. Impressive that bar service in the evenings was offered by tuxedo-clad bartender given the relatively small size of the hotel.

Service at the front desk could be chilly at times... Most employees were great, but a few didn't seem thrilled to be there. Limited food & sundries (sunscreen, cigarettes, etc.) options without driving or taking the SITA bus.

The owner, Antonio Barbaro, was exceptional. My daughter had to go to the emergency room in Amalfi and Mr. Barbaro had his staff accompany us and stay with us the 4 hours we were at the er. His staff facilitated our interaction with the er doctors as the doctors did not speak much English and we spoke no Italian. I would definitely recommend the Hotel Belvedere. Everyone was fantastic!

Bursting with 'old world' charm Pool side is like paradise

Excellent staff and location.

We were generally happy with everything except that the bathroom shower was very poorly designed and could not be used due to water splashing all over the room. Although Italy excels in many areas we found that all places that we stayed in during our trip seemed to have difficulty with showers design but our room at the Belvedere was the worst of all the showers that we encountered. For this sole reason we would not recommend any one of our friends to stay at the hotel. This is our only complaint, however. Arrivederci.

This hotel is in a stunning location right on the coast road clinging to the edge of the cliff. All the rooms have a sea view and the pool is at the base of the cliff, almost buy the sea. Pool is a decent size and although unheated was quite warm in early June. There is also access to the sea though no beach - just a very small landing stage. The staff were excellent. Rather old-fashioned but courteous & helpful. All spoke good English. Rooms were clean, moderately spacious and the views were fantastic. Air conditioning is efficient and quiet. The hotel is a few miles away from any of the towns (Amalfi about 4 miles) and the coast-line is such that you can't wander anywhere. It is just a windy road. The local bus stops right outside and the hotel does a mini-bus service if booked. There is parking (one wonders how but it manages it!) Food is excellent. For dinner (a little pricy) there are four choices each night which change nightly.

The only down side was that the rooms ran out of hot water early evening. And driving on the coast road is hairy to say the least.

The service, the service and the service! Attentive to your needs, and always with a certain luxurious decorum or style of service. We can't say enough about the welcoming and caring attitude of the staff and management. The standard room with ocean view terrace was very nice and spacious. The Hotel's location is perfect for easy visits to Amalfi and Positano.

Prachtig hotel, zeer vriendelijk personeel, mooie kamer, en reuzekerels met fenomenaal uitzicht , zalig zwembad !!! Private parking !!

A localização é muito boa para descansar e aproveitar o conforto e a vista. O hotel é no estilo clássico, quarto muito confortável com vista para o mar, piscina maravilhosa, acesso ao mar. O hotel é exatamente como as fotos aqui do site. Wifi gratuito e muito bom, funciona até na piscina. Possibilidade de passeios particulares oferecidos por empresas que buscam diretamente no hotel.

Região de difícil deslocamento e nada muito perto, como restaurantes; com isso o restaurante do hotel, mesmo sendo bom, tem preços abusivos. Não é um hotel bom para se fixar e sair para conhecer as cidades ao redor - fica perto de Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, ilha de Capri- pois a locomoção não é fácil, mas vale muito para ficar relaxando.

Posizione spettacolare. Vista su Amalfi meravigliosa. Piscina e mare splendidi. Personale gentile e premuroso.

La struttura richiede una rinfrescata importante. Non ci sono accappatoi nei bagni. Al piano 1 si sente molto il movimento dei tavoli per la colazione del piano superiore.

Vi uppskattade personalens vänlighet och villighet, en lyxig och god frukost, den oslagbara vyn från restaurangens altan, en stor och fräsch pool, rummet med den egna balkongen.
