Belvedere Di San Leonino  

The Belvedere Di San Leonino is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Tuscany countryside. The staff is very acccomodating and always ready to ensure one's stay is as close to perfection as possible. The room was clean, quiet and romantic. The pricing options for dining are flexible enough to allow changes day by day. Great location to nearby vineyards and medieval towns. We will be back!

Belvedere Di San Leonino is in a beautiful location and there are lots of things to do within easy reach.

We felt it was overpriced for what we got. We were put into room 21 which was barely big enough to swing a cat. Breakfast was very poor quality and could be improved with minimal effort such as fresh coffee and juices, a greater selection of cheese and meats, more fresh fruit, etc. We were only given one, rather flat, pillow each on the bed. The room could have offered tea and coffee making facilities. The internet connection was very poor and meant you had to type in a code every time you tried to connect.

A bit tricky to find.

I loved the peaceful serenity of the surrounding countryside. The rooms were very comfortable, with gorgeous views of the vineyards and olive groves that make up the Chianti region. The staff went out of there way to make you comfortable, and were very helpful in setting me up in a cooking class that I was interested in taking. I'd have to say that the staff were what makes the Belvedere Di San Leonino so special.

extra pay for towels at the pool and for wifi which could be included for 170€ /night but very affordable...

Loved the area and the small towns, the scenery and the history

Didn't like that we couldn't use the pool in the morning before breakfast or after dinner, when we were actually on site. Most people tour during the day and we were unable to use the pool at our convenience. We didn't like that restriction at all. The room we had in the basement was very damp and extremely hot. It was a beautiful room but too hot.

Het hotel is schitterend en rustig gelegen, net buiten Castellina in Chianti. Wij hadden een schitterende kamer met een panoramisch uitzicht over het de wijnvelden. Er zijn 2 van zulke kamers. Personeel vriendelijk, zelfs bij aankomst s'nachts om half twee! Receptie medewerkers ook zeer behulpzaam, zelfs 1 dame nederlands sprekend.

De kamers zijn wat gehorig, het is geen modern goed geisoleerd hotel, maar een eeuwen oud gebouw met prachtige houten balken en sfeervol ingericht. Dus eventueel oordoppen mee.

A 15 minuti di auto da Siena. Ottima posizione, immerso nella campagna, perfetto per rilassarsi. Sfaff cordialissimo e gentilissimo. A 25 minuti di auto si trovano le terme: consigliatissime (portate però I teli da bagno, altrimenti sono 10 euro). Lo consiglio vivamente...

L'unico lato negativo è la colazione che non è compresa nel prezzo. Consiglio di farla alla pasticceria Nannini a Siena. Ottimo caffè e cornetti.

La gentilezza e disponibilità di tutto il personale.

Stanza poco luminosa. Colazione non inclusa,anzi costosa per chi non sia inglese o tedesco! Ristorante con minima scelta di piatti.

La posizione rilassante, la struttura molto bella, la gentilezza dello staff; le camere arredate con gusto e la tranquillita' nelle ore notturne. Inoltre la vicinanza a posti splendidi come Monteriggioni.

Purtroppo devo segnalare un paio di aspetti negativi solo per correttezza dei prossimi clienti e dello staff, che magari possono avviare in tempi futuri. Io avevo la camera 43, il bagno e' 'veramente' piccolo; molto scomodo sia per wc che per doccia. La colazione a buffet potrebbe essere piu' fornita, magari con prodotti tipici della zona visto comunque il livello della struttura.
