Hotel Belvedere  

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and my favorite part was the breathtaking view.

We didn't think the food was very good and the beds were very hard. But we still enjoyed our stay due to the friendly staff and view.

We received a friendly welcome. The staff was very nice.

When we booked the room on the Internet, it said we would have a lake view room with a balcony, but our room had neither of them. Anyway, the lake was too far away down. The room was small, and the bed was too small and too short. And if one person moves on the bed, the other will feel as if he was sitting in a bouncy bus! We couldn't sleep well because of the bed. The juices at the breakfast were at least 3 times stronger than it should be. I think they are to be diluted!

Close to center of the small town, although not much there. Room was large with wonderful view of the valley. Hotel has garage, but need to stop at side street (hard to park) to get key to open garage/elavator.

WiFi worked, but only in lobby area. Breakfast was a bit under the norm for the area. Hotel hard to find (take very detail google map) and no easy place to even stop for 5 min. To unload. Overall, hotel was a bit dark and old fashioned. Not much in the small town. Ok for a stopover.

Although Pieve Di Cadore is some 20 km far from Cortina d'Ampezzo, it may be a quite good accommodation alternative (mainly in high season) considering the lower prices, and in the specific case of the Hotel Belvedere, the free parking, free internet access and astonishing view from the balcony in each room. The room was ample with a big bathroom. Very good buffet breakfast including fresh fruits and a delicious 'crostata' (traditional italian pie). The kindness and helpfulness of Salvatore (the owner/keeper) made any eventual difficulty look a minor question.

We had a reservation but there was no one to receive us when we arrived, at 4:30 pm. We had to call the owner who arrived one hour latter, when we were thinking about going to another place. However, Salvatore was a so nice guy that he almost made us forget the first bad impression... And he prepared the best chocolate we ever tried!

Ambiente curato e pulito, biancheria di qualità

Ho vissuto una esperienza grottesca. Di fatto l'albergo era chiuso ed ha aperto solo per ospitare la nostra prenotazione effettuata con booking. Arrivati in hotel la cameriera ai piani ci ha consegnato le chiavi dell'albergo, del garage, dell'ascensore e della camera. Siamo rimasti soli in albergo per tutta la notte, senza la possibilità, in caso di bisogno, di chiamare qualcuno. La cameriera è tornata al mattino per prepararci la colazione, peraltro ottima.

La camera era vista lago con un panorama mozzafiato. Camera ampia e molto luminosa,anche se so che non tutte sono così.

La colazione mi ha deluso, poca scelta e non rimpiazzano I vassoi esauriti.

L'accoglienza e la cordialità dei conduttori.

I bagni avrebbero bisogno di una ristrutturazione.

Giudizio ottimo, personale gentile e disponibile, camere rimodernate recentemente e pulite.Cucina di ottima qualità con un prezzo veramente contenuto (circa 15 euro a persona, bevande escluse).

Garage con accesso diretto in albergo, comodo e gratuito. Ottimo il servizio.

Parcheggio in garage comodo e gratuito, ottima la colazione e personale molto gentile. Da consigliare.

Le camere belle ed sono accoglienti, incluso il bagno. Colazione buona. Personale molto disponibile.

Strutture esterne vecchie. Non da 4 stelle.
