Hotel Benacus

We had great experience at the hotel, The staff was great the view was breathtaking, the rooms were comfy and clean and beakfast variety was very good. If you arrive with a car I warmly recommend this hotel.

NOt recommended to peoplr arriving without a car as the hotel is at a top of a hill and 15 minute wallk from the city.

great hotel, fantastic views from the room we had on the front of the hotel and lovely balcony. Room was very spacious and clean. room service excellent. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and all fresh food. Staff were very helpful and friendly and always smiling. nice pool area. secure parking.

there is a slight 5 min uphill walk up to the hotel if you do not like walking. We loved it though as it was a very peaceful walk.

Eventhough it was clearly a hotel, one got a feeling of a gasthaus with very cosy atmosphere. During the 5 day visit we got to know basically everybody working in the hotel. People were extra friendly on us and our 1-year old baby girl. View, of course was marvellous. And restaurant terrace/balcony was relaxing place to sit down at any time of the day. The hotel is situated in a olive tree "forest". Taking two hundred meters away from hotel you could spend a nice mid day moment under the olive trees, just relaxing, enjoying the scenery and enjoying du pain et du vin.

Lovely hotel, fantastic service, very friendly staff. The hotel has a beautiful view of the lake, as it is located on the hillside. We had 2 very large rooms and one smaller one which was fine for the children. Bringing our dog (border collie) was also no problem. Good breakfast, and the children enjoyed the pool. Another plus is that the hotel parking.

We liked the feeling that our needs were paramount to the hotel staff. There were not a lot of staff on but nothing was too much trouble, you only had to ask and it was done. It was a very relaxing home from home hotel, close to some fantastic scenery, whichever direction you wanted to go.We have stayed in some of the most expensive hotels and not had such a welcome. A big well done!!!!!

Great location, good value for the money, attentive staff.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, quickly making arrangements for us to join a pre-set special meal that had been laid on that evening, despite our late arrival at the hotel.

the staff were excellent.generally happy with the hotel.only thing i didnt like was the bed! double bed in two pieces which falls apart! otherwise very good.

Bra parkering. Utmärkt frukost. Underbar utsikt. Lugnt läge men ändå centralt, dock rejält uppför hem om man går ner till centrum, ca 1 km.

Super Lage und ruhig, die Distanz nach Riva durchaus akzeptabel. Sehr nettes Personal, eine gepflegte anlage. Sympatischer und auskunftfreudiger Chef mit subtilem Humor. Ideal mit Bike, da guter Startpunkt. Das Hotelrestaurant hat ein gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Alles in allem - gerne wieder.

Lage und Aussicht, Personal, Essen und Trinken

Wie mussten für unsere beiden Hunde zusätzlich für fünf Tage 150,--€ bezahlen. Dies wurde uns vorher nicht gesagt, obwohl wir die Hunde angekündigt hatten.
