Recently renovated, Bentley Hotel continues to be the most prestigious 5-star hotel in Genoa, only 600 metres from Fiera di Genova (Genoa Convention Centre).

Located in the former ILVA base in Via Corsica, Bentley Hotel is surrounded by Genoa’s most important monuments. Within walking distance you can find Palazzo Ducale, Genoa Musuem and the famous Genoa Aquarium.

Although completely renovated, Bentley Hotel has preserved its impressive exterior, size, and details of the original structure, designed by Crosa di Vergagni. Here, you can enjoy luxurious and modern rooms in the Carignano area of Genoa, close to all the shops of XX Settembre and Carlo Felice Theatre.

In addition, this stylish structure offers internet connections throughout the hotel, VIP room facilities, 24-hour front desk, a fitness centre, jacuzzi and Turkish bath.

The 190 m² of wellness centre is fully equipped with a pool with water jets, Turkish bath, tropical and mist showers and a fitness area.

The hotel also offers meeting facilities where you can conduct business in comfort and style. There are 3 rooms that can accommodate up to 80, 54 and 24 people respectively.

In the hotel's elegant and refined restaurant, you can enjoy a traditional cuisine that exalts the flavours of the most genuine Ligurian gastronomic culture. International dishes are also available from the à la grande carte menu.

A wide selection of regional, Italian and international wines is available to be combined with the delicious cuisine.

Breakfast is served from 07 :00–10:30.
Lunch is available from 12:30–14:30.
Dinner is served from 19:30– 23:00.

The en suite rooms promote a bright atmosphere and elegant ambience. The predominant tones are turtle dove, beige and white silver with natural shade flooring.

Each features a range of facilities including a desk and 32" LCD TV, high speed internet connection (at a charge) and three telephones.

Take advantage of the suites on the roof top floor. Enjoy the Presidential Suite with jacuzzi and a private terrace with breathtaking views of the city's historical centre.

Genoa is ideally placed for day trips to other Italian cities such as Milan (145 km) and Turin (170 km), both easily accessible by train and road.

UNESCO describes Genoa's system of Strade Nuove Palazzi dei Rolli (from the late 16th and early 17th centuries) as the 'first example in Europe of an urban development project'. The Rolli palaces were residences built by the wealthiest and most powerful aristocratic families of the Republic of Genoa, at the height of its financial and seafaring power.

Attractions in and around this fascinating city include:

Genoa Aquarium (1.3 km) - Visit the sea creatures at Europe's largest aquarium, just a short walk from the hotel.

Galata Maritime Museum (1700 metres) - With more than 10,000 metres of exhibition space, this excellent museum houses a careful reconstruction of a 17th century Genoese Galea, a 19th century brig-schooner, the Storm room, the Italian Transatlantic room and more than 6000 original items.

Portofino (35 km) - Take a boat trip to this resort of the rich and famous. A picturesque, half-moon shaped seaside village with pastel houses lining the harbour, Portofino's crystalline green waters reveal an impressive display of aquatic life. The 16th century castle is also well worth a visit.

Cinque Terre (70 km) - These 5 small fishing villages hugging the Ligurian coastline are one of the jewels of this region. If you are feeling energetic, take the train out to Riomaggiore, then walk along Lover's Lane (Via dell'Amore) all the way to Monterosso, savouring the stunning views as you go. You can also take the train between all villages.

Breakfast was excellent. Parking is appreciated even if expensive. The spa facilities are really enjoyable after a walk through the city.

Difficullt to find a critic. However a bar at the top of the building with view over the city would be a "plus". The existing bar is small and a little dark.

The staff could not have been more helpful and the room
appointments/facilities etc were superb- Genova is also a wonderful city
to visit .

The restaurant dinner menu could perhaps benefit from a wider selection
, given its 5* aspirations.

we upgraded our room and it was amazing ...we had a ball to be honest though some local residents complained that we were noisy...

i loved the hotel ...the suite we had was amazing though a little expensive...the girl that checked us in was incredibly professional
