Excellent location, really nice breakfast. Old fashioned rooms. Dodgy electrics in rooms, when we plugged in our chargers for our phones the lights would go on and off. The roooms were very dark. Staff not very friendly, bed like a rock. Could do with a renovation.

Ideal location for sightseeng and visiting museums and galeries, clean and tastfully furnished room, good breakfast, professional and helpful staff. Poor sound isolation of rooms - your sleep depends considerably on calmness of your neighbours.

The staff has been friendly, and the views from the window have been really excellent. Breakfasts are not bad at all. You may wait rather long for the elevator from your floor. If you are travelling by car, please review the car when taking this back from the garage carefully - in my case some new scratches were detected only by dropping off the car at the rental.

I liked the fact that it had a restaurant/kitchen on site that served food up until mn, and you could also order room service, like a pot of coffee. I enjoyed the lobby bar, and all of the staff including the front desk, were very friendly. The bathroom was just lovely, very clean and very appealing it its decor. The location is ideal for shopping and eating, which is all I went to Florence to do.

The hotel stuff was extremely friendly and helpfull, expecially Patricio. Location is. Ery convenient as it is located in several metres from Ponte Vecchio. The bath was designed for a baby rather than adults as having shower was not posible without pouring water to the floor. The bathroom was a nice but very narrow (about one meter)

The location of the hotel was only 200 metres from the Ponte Vecchio in Florence and a very short walk from everything of interest in Florence. The rooms we booked were spotless and all facilities and staff were very good.

The decorations were lovely---and many antique, ceilings very high, building, older and very clean.. The staff was wonderful.. B'fast-- outstanding!! I wish the beds were softer and that I knew I could have gotten a down pillow, which you must ask for in italy..

I had read good reviews about Hotel Berchielli and I was not disappointed. It is in an ideal location - next to the Ponte Vecchio and five minutes from the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria and the main shopping areas. My room was comfortable, well-appointed and very quiet. The hotel serves a very good hot and cold buffet breakfast and has attractive public areas, including a pleasant bar. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and I have already booked another visit for June 2012. Can't wait!

Location is great, along the Arno river, beautiful scenery, short walking to everything. Rooms were good size, high ceilings, comfortable bed. Breakfast was O.k, could be excellent with little effort and additions. The rooms facing the river get noisy because of the street in front of the hotel. Better isolation is needed.

It is very neaby from ponte-vecchio! And there is in front of Alto river. In morning time, I enjoyed walking. If you took much shopping goods, you can stand by your hotel to put the baggage. And there is very much good restaurant nearby, especially toscano dishes. It is pretty dark and feel no good. The key must be kept on the front desk, always. Internet was deadly slow.

Right on the River Arno. Close to Pontevecchio and museums. Well maintained. Inside the 7.30-19.30 no drive zone, but close enough to the edge that you can park outside and walk in.

The most appealing thing about this hotel is its central location. We loved it as your are in the heart of florence. You can easily walk to all the main sights. The hotel itself is very comfortable. There is a lovely small roof garden where you can enjoy a glass of wine or two after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was very nice as you would expect for a 4 star hotel. It's central location makes it ideal for going out for diner at night. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel. There was very little not to like about this hotel, if I had one criticism it would be about the reception staff. The male receptionist on duty when we arrived could not have been less inspiring to excited enthuastic tourists spending their hard eared cash at this hotel. The receptionists we meet after our first night were fine, although none were overly friendly. Maybe this is just their way. The bar man was lovely.

Very upmarket hotel, with lovely facilities (although not much in the line of room service). Conveniently located - we walked to all the places that we wanted to see. The room and bathroom were a good size, and we were very comfortable during our stay there. The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel does not offer much in the line of a room service menu, but that might be the norm in Italy.

“I love my stay at this hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful (especially to advise on restaurants ;) . The value for money is really good, not too expensive but still chic and really good quality hotel. I was really impressed by how 'clean' it was also. The breakfast buffet is fab! and the bar is cool! The location is awesome as you are right in the centre! Fantastic! And also no city noise or anything! I strongly recommend it!” Samia, Leeds |
