Staying in a Tornabuoni Suite means you have the freedom of self-catering accommodations along with the luxury of a historic guesthouse; all this in the neighborhood surrounding Ponte Vecchio.
Score from 74 reviews Excellent
Charming hotel. Lovely staff. Fantastic location 100m from Ponta Vecchio. Close to restaurants.
Says there is parking. There isn't really. It's paid for in an off site car park. Service is good but it is €27 per day. Having said that this is the same pretty much wherever you are in florence. Just think it should be more explicit.
Lovely little hotel in a nice location felt as if it was family run my wife and i were made so welcome
Breakfast not upto what we would usually expect as i like a nice english breakfast which was not available also i despise the waiters using there mobile phones whilst waiting on it shows a complete lack of respect for there guests and one which the management should stamp out ASAP
This was my second stay at this hotel. I chose it the second time because our first visit was so wonderful. The location is outstanding, and the staff is unfailingly helpful and professional.
Very welcoming staff at reception and breakfast. Very cosy, quiet hotel in a perfect location if you are going to explore old town, galleries, etc. Withing easy walking distance to Pitti Uomo as well.
Too noisy air conditioning.
Great location. Very nice river view. Very good staff.
Stop the car to leave the luggage is not obvious. I think very important on the Booking the place 'Piazza Del Limbo" as the better place to leave the luggage. After this, the car parking is ok.
Everything, Arno view in particulary
We were 5 (3 adults, 2teens) looking at Renaissance art. Hotel was perfect location; staff, helpful; room over Arno, spacious. Breakfast wonderful. Recommend highly.
Can't think of a flaw.
This a jewel of a small hotel .We'll be back!
Good location by the river.
Costly for a 4 star hotel
Our view of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. Breakfast (we can't figure out who thinks there's not enough variety) Large room with tall windows. Front desk extremely professional
Cold Tuscan winds kept us from enjoying the beautiful rooftop terrace. (Guessing you summer visitors won't have this problem). Moderate street noise. (Guessing you summer visitors will have a bigger problem)
Amazing atmosphere befitting the old, historic feeling of Florence.
Location, rooms food delicious everything except the grumpy man
The grumpy man who was rude and very unhelpful on reception
Great location. Very close to luxury boutiques and attractions.
Expensive for a typical 4 star hotel transfer from the train station (€50) whilst the distance is only a-10 mins walk. Poor service - we were asking for hot water for making tea but it never arrived (no kettle for boiling water provided in the room). Around 11pm at night after I went out for a while buying medicine at the Pharmacy and take away meal for my sick wife, I dropped by at the front desk asking for spoon & fork (since these are not available either in our room). They made me waiting at the hotel bar for more than 5 mins until I got them. I know the hotel bar is closed already and no guests around but at least, they could offer me to bring them to our room instead.
Overall it was a good stay, room was amazing with a balcony, breakfast is lovely, staff are nice and helpful.
One major issue was on the last day (Mon morning) they had workmen in at 8am fixing the elevator. They were making really loud banging for a good half hour before we complained. They then stopped and started up again at 9. This was leisure break and we were gutted. We have 1 year old at home and this is one of the 3 days a year we can actually have lie in. Really disappointed with this as I left with a banging headache. We checked at breakfast, everyone we spoke to was really annoyed and got woken by it as well. Overall, a huge disappointment for what was otherwise a great stay.
Gorgeous and large room with big teracce, it was great! But this hotel specially won me over with gluten free breakfast option. Location is amazing and staff helpful - great recommendations for restaurants. Thanks a lot!
Sustainability - lack of it. Our toilett paper and soap bar were changed every day for completly new unpacked ones - which was really not necessary. There is a space for improvement to become more sustainable and save money at the same time. Would happily help them with that!
The room with Arno River and Ponte Vecchio. Staff are very helpful. I'm glad that I chose this hotel for our four nights stay.
The interior is little outdated and the low water pressure of shower.
Breakfast is excellent Staff excellent Location
Water quality poor for bathroom more chloride Room view
Location Good size room Friendly staff Quiet roof outside area
This hotel has a terrific location. Easy to walk to most points of interest and excellent shopping and restaurants are very nearby. Overlooks the Orno river and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The breakfast buffet was a delicious surprise.
The beds and pillows were very firm. If you like your pillows and bed very firm then this would not be a negative.
location very good with beautiful riverside view; good breakfast.
Beautiful hotel right in the middle of everything. Very professional and helpful staff and extremely diverse and generous breakfast.
Bell hop hovers over you at check-in and check-out to take your bags, even if, as was our case, you have one bag with wheels and don't need or want help.
Good location good breakfast nice rooms quiet for a good nights sleep staff very polite and helpful
The packed breakfast provided as we had to leave early on the last day. the produce quality did not match the quality of breakfast served in the hotel I'm afraid
Loved our view! Breakfast was fabulous and so very classy with the servers dressed in jackets. Room very clean. Bathroom beautiful. The bed was large and comfortable. WiFi was great. Front desk very helpful in booking tours etc. Walking distance to all the big tourist things in Florence.
Seriously not one thing.
