Hotel Berchielli    

The staff was wonderful, friendly & knowledgeable. Location was great, room was lovely. I even had a charming terrace with room to entertain! When I return to Florence it will be to the Berchielli!

The place and staff were very nice.

They hand no face wash towels. Just a little over priced.

The Berchielii was terrific: staff was top-rate, room and baths elegant and clean, perfect location near the Ponte Vecchio, but quiet, comfort controlled rooms. I'd,stay again and again.

Hotel has an excellent position within easy walking distance of all the sights of Florence. We had a room overlooking the river which had excellent views of the Ponte Vecchio Bridge

Fantastic location. One of the entrances is in a beautiful courtyard area opposite a church. Sadly, we couldn't look inside as it was locked. The river view from our window was stunning. The room was large with very nice bathroom stocked with lovely shampoos etc.. Very clean throughout the hotel.. The buffet breakfast was superb with good service and plenty of delicious breads and cheeses, fruits etc. The coffee was disappointing and tasted instant. The reception staff were polite and very helpful.. We had a really fantastic few days in Florence. Thank you.

The room was quite warm without the window open, so it was a little noisy at night time. That isn't a complaint just an observation. No tea or coffee and I really think that adds a finishing touch. Pillow not feather.

Exceptional breakfasts and bar. Friendly helpful staff. Out room was HUGE - two levels! And the location you can't do better; just down from the Ponte Vechio bridge.

The air conditioning was as ineffectual as it was noisy, however this problem appears to encompass much of Europe.

Everything. We had a room with a view of the river and the Ponte Vecchio. Small room but very nice including the bathroom. Breakfast room was lovely.

The fact that the hotel held everything it promised and more. Perfect ambience from which to enjoy a few days in Florence, but we were lucky with a riverside room.

Not easily accessible by car - not at all when we were there, due to a change in traffic flow which started that day - but staff were helpful about it and garage staff guided us in and out.

Very central position. Our room was superb, very large with magnificent view of the Arno and the Ponte Vecchia. Breakfast was great and the staff were so helpful. I would definitely stay here again

This was an elegant hotel. Our room and bathroom were quite lovely and clean. The staff overall were very friendly and helpful. Great location as it was near many sites but still quiet.

The staff was very helpful except for one evening clerk at the desk who acted as if we were bothering him.

The hotel breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful and attentive. Fantastic location. Gorgeous room and brilliant view (I had a deluxe river view room). i would definitely return

There was some dust and grime inside the wardrobe but this was only a minor thing.

Room while comfortable was a bit dark Floor plan a bit confusing

Staff were brilliant. Knew it was our honeymoon and they did everything they possibly could to make our stay special. Possibly the best service in a hotel I've received anywhere. Will certainly stay there next time I'm in that city.

Easy to get to the hotel and leave for airport. he hotel gets you a taxi within minutes.

Our room looks out into a small common courtyard and so we have to keep the windows closed at all times. The walls separating the rooms are very thin.

Very good location in city centre. Kind and friendly staff.

In our two rooms were windows just few meters from the wall of next house and was absolutely imposible to see something when you looked out. It means that we could not enjoy the location and the view of Ponte Vecchio and our rooms were bit dark. That was the only problem in this hotel.
