Hotel Berchielli

Location was excellent, breakfast included was great! Very clean hotel and many areas to enjoy time with friends outside of room, i.e. hotel bar and sitting area. Breakfast staff very helpful and friendly. Overall a very good stay!!!

Hotel staff not as friendly and outwardly helpful as internet description protrayed. Booked a double room by internet, w/ picture of 2 beds and staff told me I booked only 1 bed. Sheets were great on bed but bed was uncomfortable. Was in a non smoking room but would wake up at night and smell cigarette smoke. Wish I could speak Italian!!!

Single room had dim lighting, unable to open window. Also very little room to move.

The welcome from the desk staff and their continual helpfulness. The very plesant room and spotless bathroom. The comfortable seating in the reception area when waiting for friends.

The location near the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo and other Florence attractions is ideal. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The hotel has a computer available for guest use in the lobby.

Only certain rooms have wireless internet access but it was comfortable to use the lobby and lounge area to access the internet.

the position of the hotel could not be bettered. the atmosphere was very calm and the hotel most ..elegant. The buffet breakfast was very good indeed- once again excellent. The staff in the breakfast room were the best in the hotel- very charming indeed. So welcoming and helpful- couldnt be bettered.We had a deluxe room which was very good indeed- and the maid service first class.

The only downside- and this is quite a small point - was that some of the reception staff seemed a little held back. We wondered if this was a language difficulty as we do not speak italian - as one tall distinguished gentleman was very good and helpful- plus the female staff were charming and welcoming. So all in all once again really good overall.

Excellent location; right in the centre of the town. Room had a lovely view of the river and bridges. The size of the room was fine and it was always warm and cozy - we visited in December so this was important.

Noisy radio playing every morning in the breakfast room. Bathroom a little old fashioned - last decorated in the 1970s.

Ho apprezzato la colazione, tra le migliori che io abbia visto in Italia e all'estero, per quantità, qualità, e per la cortesia del personale.

Il prezzo pieno mi pare francamente troppo alto. Ho usufruito di una tariffa estremamente vantaggiosa (con uno sconto di oltre il 70%), che effettivamente è inferiore ai servizi offerti dall'albergo. Inoltre ho suggerito alcuni miglioramenti imbucando la scheda relativa. Ad esempio, in bagno mancava la tenda della vasca, mancavano i kleenex, e uno specchio orientabile e illuminabile. In stanza, invece, sarebbe stato utile un gancio appendiabiti all'entrata, per appendere cappelli e cappotti. E forse sarebbe preferibile una cassaforte con chiusura digitale, invece della classica chiusura con chiave. Si tratta di piccoli accorgimenti che un hotel di quella categoria, secondo me, dovrebbe adottare. Ma il giudizio, complessivemente, è positivo.
