Hotel Berti  

staff was very nice as well as helpful. hotel was a great bargain, breakfast fair but the linens were a very nice touch.

bathroom could have provided more shelf space and shower stall was small

Hotel Berti was a quiet Oasis for us in Dorsoduro after the crowds of people milling everywhere in the centre of Venice. We loved that our room overlooked a quiet canal giving us the essence of Venice and close enough to the waterway on the other side to watch the cruise ships come and go.

The only thing we thought that could of been improved was to have more staff on in the Restaurant as the service was very slow.

The location was convenient to St Francis Basilica and the bus stops to take you to the train station and to downtown Assisi, the breakfast was simple but lovely, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and the room had a view over the mountains. Recommend a stay at Hotel Berti.

it`was my third time at these hotel. everytthing was ok. there are good rest nearby and the main BASILIQUE VERY CLOSE and we can parking in piazza san pietro the internet was not working. this is bad

This tiny hotel is in a perfect location to reach both Saint Francis' basilica and the center of Assisi. The location is very quiet and the staff is attentive, we had a great room that looked out over the countryside (and the parking lot but beautiful if you look out and not down).

The room had carpet and it was smooking, so I could not sleep for 3 days. The hotel did not have any idea od the event occuring on the city (pope meeting with 190 religious heads wordly!!!). Ashemed.

Very cosy and quiet place allowing a lot of privacy, with nice and caring staff. Perfect spot for both exploring Assisi and it's surroundings - few minutes walk from St Francis Basilica, and 50 meters from bus stop, giving easy access to all sanctuaries around the city. But the closiness of bus stop does not disturb the quiet in the rooms, as it is behind old city wall. Scenic view to the Spoleto Valley from the window. We can feel that people who run the hotel find pleasure, not the businness, in caring for the guests.

We enjoyed the location. Close to parking, buses, and taxis. The staff was very helpful and our room was very nice with air. The breakfast was buffet and we ate outside on the patio. We would go back. Tony and Mary Sapino

Hard to find even though near the walls! Very small bathroom, pretty small bedroom

Not fancy or gorgeous. But simple, clean, convenient, naive, very kind, ecological, plant lover, traditional, and good coffee. The staff's hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. We felt very comfortable to be back to the hotel after long walking ups and downs in Assisi. Next time we will choose Berti again!

Good location is you want to be near San Francesco Church and if you want to be at the bottom of the town. Breakfast outside was nice. Staff made capucchino was nice too. Very close to the bus stop square. Bus takes you from the train station to the bus stop square.

Pretty basic but decent value.

Staff was very friendly. Seemed family run. Nice quaint place. Cafe associated with it had great food and nice friendly staff. Very personable. Accomodating with keeping our luggage after checkout.
