The manager of the property Laura was so helpful, and very cheerful, the property is fantastic, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, Laura is a gem as is the property, the location is brilliant you can walk to everywhere that would be of interest, this was our 9nth trip to Rome, Best Suites Trevi is by far the best property we have ever stayed in, in Rome, if you are thinking of traveling to Rome stay at Best Suites Trevi you could not do better,
Location was perfectly situated to walk absolutely everywhere, staff were VERY helpful (English was very good too), there was plenty of room for all 4 of us, simple breakfast (juice, coffee, croissant, and rolls) on the terrace, and it was the best price in Rome for all of it!
The only drawback was the wifi...signal was too weak to use. Solution: plan your trip details ahead of time and use as many hours in the day to be out and about. Still an AMAZING stay!!!
You cannot beat the location of this B&B for the price - literally steps from Trevi Fountain. Laura tended to all our needs and inquirers and made our stay exceptional. She arranged our transfers and everything was entirely seamless. The room was huge and spotless and the Wi-fi worked great.
The only downfall is that I ignored what others wrote about the noise in the morning. If you plan to sleep past 6am this may not work for you because the garbage is picked up and it's done in Italian minutes. So it takes forever to go down on street - and it's loud. Also the walls are thin here so you do hear breakfast being prepared and the people walking above you. For one night it wasn't a big deal at all. But if this was for a week's stay, I would go nuts.
Location was amazing - maybe a block from the Trevi Fountain and less than 10 mins from the subway. The hotel is small, only 3 rooms, so it's easy to get to know staff and other guests. Laura made our stay. She was extremely helpful and always smiling, going above and beyond to make our stay and our trip better. We had breakfast most mornings on the terrace and the one morning that we had to leave before breakfast, our tray was waiting in our room when we got back. Room was huge and very clean and beds were very comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We really felt like we were in Rome. Best suites Trevi is a unique, special place to stay. It's location is very central and this made it very easy to walk and enjoy this wonderful city. The property is located in an archeological area which enhanced our experience. Lara was so hospitable and helpful. Fabulous.
Only a couple of things.....unfortunately our TV didn't work and there was a panel of the shower glass screen being repaired. Otherwise great experience.
Small B&B, 50mts from Trevi fountain. The staff & specially Laura were very nice. We felt very welcome. The rooms was simple but spacious for a family with older children. The most important was:clean & location, location, location !!! That was excellent.
The shower was broken, but it could be used. It required some force to switch the temperature tap to a bearable temperature.
Friendly staff, perfect suite, comfortable bathroom and bed, quiet, great location.
- Perfect location: a quiet street right next to the Trevi Fountain, from where one can walk to any of the famous sites in Rome. We never used a bus or a taxi. - Breakfast on a secluded and completely quiet roof terrace at the back of the building, which we also used in the evenings for relaxing over a beer. - Laura is a pearl. She welcomed us when we arrived, explained the facilities, offered maps and explanations, suggested visits and best times to avoid crowds, and even helped us herself pre-book some of the visits. She made sure throughout our stay that we lacked for nothing.
Staff, location, breakfast
Location was excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable and Laura was helpful and friendly. It felt like home!
Location was perfect, also the Laura, the host was great, we had lovely holiday
Best location! We walked all over rome so easy from this position, hotel employee laura ,a real asset to you, always smiling /friendly/helpful perfect for this position!! Room very comfortable perfect for our family of 4,
Everything was fantastic, except its in a lane that also houses a council workers staff room (rubbish collectors) they work all hours until early morning and are very noisy!! just didnt get a good nights sleep the whole week we were there,
Very kind and helpful staff!
The address was hard to find.
Location, location, location. This is the USP of this B&B. Staff were very friendly and were eager to help out in any possible way. The breakfast timings were from 8 to 10 but we had to start earlier so they prepared the breakfast earlier for us.
The wifi was a bit of a disappointment and so was the television. Just couldnt get the TV to work though this was not a major issue as we hardly had time for it.
Laura the lady managing the accommodation was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. The courtyard was a lovely peaceful place to enjoy breakfast and the location was perfect.
First night noise outside the window.
The staff were brilliant - friendly and unbelievably helpful. The room was big enough for us, comfortable and well-appointed. And the location is just unbeatable.
It might have been better if staff were on hand all the time (or say between 8am and 10pm), but that's quibbling. It was great.
Excellent location - just by the Trevi Fountain, but in a quiet place, tucked away from the crowd around. Sophisticated room decor. Clean and well maintained room. Service does not only support, but takes care of the guests (many thanks to Laura !). You can enjoy breakfast on a small patio. We will definitely recommend to our friends.
- poor breakfast for us, North Europeans, but it is normal in Italy, so you have to get used to it. - lack of intimacy through the thin walls in our room - some would be discouraged other even more excited :) - just for the hotel management: metal bed did a lot of noise - we think it would be solved by putting some lubricant oil where needed.
April 14, 2014 Just returned from Rome. Best Suites Trevi was a wonderful place to stay. Great hosts, very clean and safe. Bed very comfortable, modern large shower. Just steps away from it all. Can't wait to visit this hotel again. Small and intimate, enjoyed breakfast daily on the terrace, peaceful and relaxing.
Laura was really helpfull and she had a lot of good tips for us. The Breakfast was typical Italian, so either you like it or not. For us it was really ok. The hotel itself is close to everything. It is like zou are in the middle of Rome and everything else is build around you. You must not drive with a Taxi. Everything is reachable by foot. The rooms where daily made. That does not mean that thez changed every day the sheets but that was not expected. They cleaned every day.
The W-LAN Connection was not stable so it was sometimes a bit tricky to be online. Anyway we only used it in the evening so it was ok.
very helpful and friendly staff
The hosts are very friendly. In the morning you get as much coffee as you like, for free :)
Great place to stay for a short holidays in Rome. Excellent location, excellent staff, good price. Small nice terrace to have breakfast outside on the fresh air.
Box-spring was not convenient for me but it could be in the another hotel.
Very excellent location. Very kind staff and very good price.
Loved the location and friendly staff. This was our first experience with a B&B and all I can say is that this was just great. It's a minute from Trevi fountain, costs 8 euro from Termini by taxi. Thank you Laura and Jerry for the excellent hospitality.
Nothing really to be disliked. The breakfast can be improved by adding more variety, but honestly, when you get such personalized service, it doesn't matter to someone like our family.
